Are there any custom roms for xoom that are based on uk version, the reason i ask is im using hammerhead 3.2 but when i go into market its in in dollars not pounds, any help or advice greatly apreciated..

changed your locale? I havent noticed any prices in $ and I am running 3.2 non-custom and non-rooted...
I have a uk xoom and flashed timiat hammerhead. Since flash all prices in market show as dollars not pounds.

I have had to return back to stock 3.2 rooted and oc, market is now showing pounds not dollars. How weird is that. Anyone else had this issue...

So it finally hit the uk and 859.99 us dollar for the 16gb and 1125 us for 32gb holy moly. That's w.o contract. With is 599us for 16 jesus

You also have to remember that UK prices don't directly transfer to US pricing even through currency conversion. I suspect that the sgs II will be between $500 and $550 in the US at launch off contract.

Yea but the US versions will take apart a lot of features to lower the price. I remember the original EU galaxy s was almost 700!

Not necessarily. I will bet you can find an imported eu sgs II for around $550 pretty soon after it's launched.

Picked up mine in Glenview, IL yesterday.
All of the sprint stores in Jacksonville are saying it is not available for sale until Sunday.
What version of Android does it come with? There was some debate on whether it would have 2.3.4 out of the box. Thanks.

Have you rooted it yet? If so, which thread did you use to do it? Any issues?
Havent rooted it yet, I just dont see the point at the moment. I had my Evo rooted, roms, kernals, etc.. prior to getting to Nexus S, so im defenetly familier with rooting, just dont see a reason to yet.
Is Sprint charging for the wifi hot spot feature?

Seriously, I already paid for xda premium, thru Amazon market btw which didn't receive the last update. For some reason only the one thru Android market got the update.
