Please help, I seem to have bricked my device! - Galaxy Tab 10.1 General

Alright, well, I've just had a bit of a personal crisis and here is how it happened:
I went to the Verizon store in town after I got out of school today and decided to pick myself up a nice new galaxy tab 10.1. I've been doing quite a bit of work lately with my Droid X2 and was feeling quite a bit over-confident so I quickly had the tab rooted and was running CWM in no time. So when I got back to it I flashed my very first ROM, which was: poitee's http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1200387. Now when I went to boot my device back up after the successful flash I was greeted not by a nice overclocked, fresh, fast Galaxy tab but instead by the galaxy tab logo followed by the horrible black screen. Fortunately I'm still very able to get into CWM recovery and download mode however I can't seem to get past that with anything i do, I already have ODIN3 and the filesfordummies.zip but I can't seem to flash anything that will fix this tab.
I REALLY don't want to take it back to Verizon as it would be painfully obvious I've tampered with it, but my little time with it was fantastic.
So my question is how should I go about getting this back to how it was rooted and CWM installed, or at the very least back to stock so that I can work with it some more, then after that what ROM's should I use? I can't seem to find many designed for the LTE version that use any overclocks, so what is everyone else using?

Quick Update: It seems to be booting fine now, I'm about to re-root it, but other than that it just booted and went into setup. Odd thing is that there's no more 4G LTE splash screen...I'm not too sure whats going on, any help is definitely appreciated here, but as it's working again I think I'm off to bed.
Also still questioning the ROM's...what is the best to use with the LTE Verizon model?
Edit: Alright nevermind about the rooting, I seem to have managed to get rid of any form of recovery, when I try to choose recovery mode from the power + volume down menu it just turns the device off...not sure what I've done here but I am definitely needing assistance.

I have the same problem, no one seems to answer a couple of posts. I can get to APX mode by holding down and power with the computer not connected to the tablet, and connecting right after it goes to black.
Also, if instead of volume + you hit volume down when asking to confirm recovery, it gets to some kind of "waiting for USB" but nothing happens...
PLEASE HELP!

Are you sure that ROM is for a LTE Tab? I think it's only for wifi Tab...

[Q] [Solved] OTA Update Bricked

My Acer is stock with only ADW Launcher. I've not rooted it or done any modifications to it otherwise. No SD card in it when OTA attempted.
The OTA attempted to download today but seemed to have failed and ultimatly seems to have bricked the tablet. I called Acer Support and they want me to send the tab in to be fixed but I'm hoping there is a way to fix it still.
The OTA prompte came up and I agreed to download.
Download progress bar started but an hour later when I came back to my desk it was still at 0%.
I tried to cancel but it wouldn't cancel nor could I get back to the desktop or to anything else, basically frozen.
Not sure whatelse to do, I powered it off and turned it back on.
The Acer logo comes on and then the Android logo and that is as far as it gets.
Acer had me try holding power and vol down button. That would get me to android with a yellow triangle but thats its.
I found online the hard reset of power/vol up and toggle switch and got 'Erasing Data' but it never gets further.
Anyone have any suggestions of what to try?

You could try a manual update to 3.2 using the official Acer ota ROM found here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1113878
Drop the ROM associated with your current GEN on your external SD card, rename it "update.zip", then boot with your external SD card in the slot while holding power and volume.
Should do the trick.
Okay... so got it out of its hung state and its now sporting Acer_A500_7.006.01_COM_GEN2. I lost everything somehow but I can deal with that. The problem now is that the Wifi won't make connection. It attempts too but never obtains the ip address. Everything else in the house connects fine. Is there a fix for this or do I need to attempt the downgrade back to 3.1 to get wifi back?
UPDATE: Fixed the wife... not sure exactly how though. Was trying the different roms from the thread below and now am showing Acer_A500_7.006.13_COM_GEN2 and wifi works.

Good job!

[Q] Problem: Unresponsive screen after update

My wonderful wife gave me an Acer a500 for Christmas. Awesome gift. I had rooted it immediately with no problems, since all of my phones and families phone are rooted, it just seemed to be the natural thing to do.
As someone that "plays" with their android a lot I did all of the backups. Well, the time came to have my tablet "approved" for use at my company and also have the appropriate "encryption" software and keys added. Just as a precaution I decided to restore the original backup and unroot the tab.
All was going well until I received the update message. I went ahead and downloaded the update and ran it. During the install process it froze. I thought it was just busy so I left it for a good 20 minutes and finally realized it was frozen. I rebooted and it went through a couple of reboots and finally settled on the lock screen. But now I find the touch screen unresponsive.
I plugged in a mouse and keyboard in hopes that I could get back into it and start over, but, although, the mouse shows up, it is jumpy sluggish and will not grab the lock to slide open and eventually freezes.
I have tried all of the "update.zip" files I could find and they all fail at one point or another.
ADB allows me to explore in shell but since I unrooted, I cannot get su privileges.
Acer is of course, useless and the vendor it was purchased from is worthless.
I have been through every thread I could find and tried every trick I could come up with. Now I'm just stuck.
Any help is appreciated
I've had this a couple of times already. Usually just turning the screen off and on a couple of times does the job (the issue seems to be with the driver, also on various custom roms). Just try it after each off-on cycle, most of the time it takes no more than two or three tries, though there are exceptions.
Thanks, but it has been rebooted many many times since it's demise.
Decided to skip sleep tonight and keep plugging away.
I found an update.zip recovery file for an a501. Figured I can't do much worse so I went ahead and ran it.
It froze at about 95% but.........
Good News:
The tablet is responsive and touch panel works again.
Bad News:
It boots straight into system settings and although you can open the settings menu, nothing actually launches.
Decided to try all of the old update.zips and still everything fails.
No more ADB response.
When you originally unrooted your device did you revert back to the stock recovery or did you leave cwm on your device?? If you left cwm on your device that may be the problem with the update.zips and OTAs.
You are sooo right. I've never gone back to a stock rom before and I completely forgot about reverting to the stock recovery.
As a matter of fact, I was on Civato's Flexstriker 3.2.1 rom with the new CWM before I reverted back to the stock rom.
Well, at least we've determined my stupid mistake, but now the question lies: "How do I get back to any working rom?"
Here's an update. I did find an update.zip file that also begins to load but does not finish. It stops at 95% still.
I will attach the photos in case someone notices something otherwise I am at a loss. In addition to all of the above, I tried everything I could to get into APX mode but nothing. I am willing to try almost anything at this point, so all suggestions are appreciated.
Something I noticed was the recovery for the a501 was android with gears spinning in the body. The recovery I have now is a package with an arrow. The recoveries are different. The current update file is Acer_A500_1.145.05_COM_GEN1
So this brings me to a question: Can I put Thor's 1.6 CWM back on the a500 and at least work from there? I do have my original backups and thought I might be able to get somewhere that way.

major issue with my vega booting and I can't get into recovery to fix it.

Hi guys
Im having a nightmare with my vega, I have been running vegacomb for a while without issue and decided I fancied upgrading to an ICS ROM instead, but have hit major problems. I went into rom manager to do a nandroid before I flashed anything, when I opened the app it told me to confirm the device type. it came up saying viewsonic 10 so I confirmed it. Then it decided to re-flash the recovery from within the app, I let it do that too. Then I told it to do a backup of the current ROM, so it reboots and then I get nothing. It does the same thing that normally happens when you go into NVflash (screen backlight comes on, nothing else). I have plugged it into the PC and its not in this mode, its also not letting me get into nvflash using the 2 second hold method. Im really stummped now, I have been messing round with android for a while so im pretty familiar with flashing etc, but without being able to get into recovery im lost. Do you have any suggestions?

Stuck in bootloop after un-installing Flipboard

I'm usually fairly good at troubleshooting my own stuff but this really has me stuck in the same place for a few hours now.
So basically Flipboard has been nagging me(well play store is, not the app itself but anyway) so I said to myself why don't I uninstall it since I've never used it and don't plan to, and besides I hate to have pointless apps installed. So I open TitaniumBackup and I see it is installed as a system app, I thought what's the worst that can happen? so I do uninstall it and a minute later my phone shuts off. I try to turn it on and it doesn't go past the Samsung Galaxy Note 4 flash screen, it either reboots or stays like that.
I try to go into recovery to restore a backup and I can't, it is stuck at Recovery Booting and again it either stays like that or reboots and does it again and again and again.
Now, I haven't made any changes or installs on my phone for weeks now, so this is either because I unistalled Flipboard(I know I shouldn't have risked it since it was a system app but I really could not see it going this way) or the hardware is on it's way out(don't see what else could it be).
I figured I should flash a stock rom with odin, I can get into download mode, and reinstall everything from scratch.
I took a stock image from xda and flashed it and it does exactly the same thing.
Right now I'm downloading another stock image from sammobile for my country/provider to see if this will change anything.
What else can I try? I'm completely stuck and I really don't want to send the phone back like this, I doubt amazon is gonna be happy about it.
Specs:
N910F
Emotion Revolution 12.1 Rom
POK1 BL&CP
TWRP 2.8.7.0
Really sorry for the double-post. I'm quite desperate and need my phone for work.
Since last post I've tried flashing N910FXXU1COH4_N910FH3G1COH3_H3G.zip through Odin from SamMobile and it did the same thing with rebooting constantly.
Then I've installed Kies and went to Tools -> Firmware Upgrade and Initialisation and gave it the model and S/N and it downloaded something and everything went all right, the phone reboots and I'm back in the same circle, it just shows me the splash screen(in some video's I've seen that after this procedure they get the splash screen and then the android bot with a progress bar, I don't get that, I only get the splash screen and reboot) and reboots.
I thought this was a last resort thing? Is the phone completely dead or is there something I can try?
Again sorry for the double-post.
Update: still no progress so I've contacted Amazon and they said to send it back so hopefully this works out in the end, no matter how annoying the waiting time will be, if you do have any suggestions on what I should try please let me know as I haven't posted the phone yet.

Note 3 Will Not Boot, Can Not Boot Into Recovery (Loops)

Hello Folks,
Looks like I borked my Note 3 tonight. Was attempting to install a new ROM and things didn't go well at all.
Phone was last running BajaROM 4.4.2 with Safestrap as a virtual recovery.
After a failed install of a new ROM from SS, I tried restoring from the backup file I just made tonight before upgrading the OS. Failed. Then, from SS, I wiped the phone and attempted to install the old AllianceROM, and it too, failed. When I went to reboot phone to see what would happen it simply loops the custom Note 3 screen, then blue text Recovery appears in the upper left hand corner, then repeat. Can't boot into recovery, and now, can't get back to Safestrap. All I got is Download mode when I pull the battery and hold Power/Volume Down/Home when I reinsert battery.
I'm following the guide at this link currently, http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2483380, but have to wait over an hour for the stock Android firmware to download from one of the few hosting servers that still have one of them loaded.
In the meantime, is there anything else anyone recommends? This is my primary device so I'm kinda screwed till I can get it back up again. Any additional info would be appreciated.
Thanks.
For anyone reading who might be in a similar predicament, the soft-brick fix at the link above got me up and running again. Got the Note 3 running on stock OF1/5.0, rooted, and am now looking into unlocking bootloader so I can properly upgrade to 6.0.
A little disappointed no one bothered to respond in what could've turned into a bad situation, but the site itself did bail me out so no big complaints. Thanks to all the devs for their hard work.
