I need help guys...
I pulled off the battery when the phone was booting the other day - i know now I was stupid to do that - and after that the phone never booted any more. it stayed at moto bat wing log for ever till battery dies.
tried to enter the recovery mode by pressing X while powering up, nothing happens, no triangluar shape, no android icon whatsoever...
things i've done so far:
recharged the battery using a portable charger (battery refuses to be charged by the original charger now)
entered boot loader (70.13) by pressing +volume, camera and power, then using RSD Lite 5.0 flashed the UK 2.2 SBF and some other roms. still, the phone does not want to start up. things stay the same and still cannot enter recovery mode by pressing x while powering up. seems that the recovery image is corrupt too...
do i need to re-write the device with a recovery image? if so, where should i get that?
So, help, please~~~ what should i do now? any clue, any help would be much appreciated~~ thank you very much!
seems that the RSD Lite cannot detect the IMEI info from my phone... is the PDS partition gone? have to get a new motherboard for it?

I Encountered a number of problems when trying to upgrade to DJ's V 1.2 ROM from V 1.1.1
Problem: My phone is dead, nothing. No lights at all and I cant turn the phone on obviously.
What I've tired:
1. All key combos. Holding for up to 20 sec
a. Volumes + power
b. Volume down + power
c. Volume up + power
c. Power + camera.
d. Power + camera + volumes
2. Take battery out + sim + SD let sit for 1 hour
3. Wall charge w/ battery and back in for 1 hour.
4. Wall charge w/ out sim and SD for 1 hour.
5. Phone plugged into wall with back off and no battery.
6. Phone plugged into wall with back off no battery, sim, or SD.
Still cant get it to work, charged USB and Wall charger for 3 + hours each. Phone still does not show any signs of life. The battery is not getting hot, which means maybe is not charging at all.
FIX: download PDF. Will Update with pictures later, very rough right now.

My question: is it possible to Brick my phone so bad that it cant charge? or is this possible a cable/charger problem?
I would suggest you try a different cable. your cable may be bad.
it needs the battery in and the backplate in place in order for it to boot.
try without simcard and everything else in place. make sure the backcover is firmly closed.
you might also try this: attach to pc and press power for 3 secs , stop press power for a second and then hold both power and camera button together till it does something.
FIXED thanks to DJ Steve! Now running v1.2 sucessfully. Man is it fast and sweeett!

If you are stuck at the Dell Logo after flashing a Rom (install Clockwork recovery if you haven't already got in installed) press the volume up and down and power - select option 2 - when it goes into clockwork - go to partition option - mount the first three options (data - system and something else) and reboot - BAM Your back in business - you don't have to do it again except if you flash another rom (sometimes - not always)

Sorry I should of explained myself...
I have tried to install 2.2 (DJ_Steve) from 2.1 when i booted into flash recovery using the following for the baseband update.
fastboot -i 0x413c flash amss amss.mbn (to install the baseband)
commands and rebooted my device i already had clockwork recovery installed..(used clockwork a few times in the past for other roms) after the last step using fastboot to reboot. (fastboot -i 0x413c reboot)
my device rebooted and was stuck at the dell logo ... left it like this for about 1 hour
nothing responds now ... tried booting into recovery using both volume buttons and power ... and trying to boot into fast loader no longer works.... i have pulled the battery and tried with no luck.... and also charged the device over night...
looks like I have some activity with the usb cable in windows for the ADB driver but does not respond to any fastboot commands ....
I lost count the amount of attempts to boot into fast loader mode white screen never appears just boots into dell logo...
if I try to hold down the camara button and then the power the streak will not even power up unless I pull the battery...

hum, this is different problem then I had, I could not get the screen to display anything at all.
Do you think your fix might help my situation ? as mine might aswell have a blank screen ...
Ok guys, I've attached a rough guide. I'm at work and will update w/ pictures later. It might be a bit confusing, but I will fix it later.
today i messsed my phone up, and now it well turn on and you see the m and then it goes off and it will also enter recovery sceen. i reflashed the spf and it still does not work. it will go to the motorola symbol and then flashes and then restarts it will not going to the little att animation or anything. please help
If you are getting to the recovery screen have you tried a reset from there? Is it stock recovery?
Seems like you messed up running my scripts. Power off your phone, remove your SD card, power back on, you should be okay.
yes it is the stock recovery and i removed my sd card and it is still doing it, i performed at least 10 data wipes and its still doing it
Recovery isn't what you want, it won't do anything useful for this. Get to the bootloader (hold the up arrow while turning on the phone) then use RSD Lite or sbf_flash to flash with the stock SBF.
Relax, everything will be okay.
i did that, i just ended up calling and there sending me a replacement
So i was going to go from the AOSP build of ICS back to a GB ROM and didnt got back to stock (bad me)
so i just flashed the SSD rom .zip .. it didnt finsh but shutdown in the middle of the flash.
Right now all i get is the "M" symbol when the device is pluged into an outlet
and just the LED when connected to USB (computer)
it will not boot into CWM or Bootloader (was trying any button combo that i could think of( besides the ones that everybody knows))
So right now it is some kind of brick just dont what yet or how to fix it... any help would be appreciated
I have sbf'd my phone many times and that usually has fixed anything that ive done, never had an issue with not being able to boot into bootloader though, i do not know if its possible for RSD lite to recognize your phone without it being on or in boot loader, but if the battery is dead that would explain why you cant boot into bootloader. So find a way to find out if the battery is dead either by borrowing some one elses phone and switching batteries or just assume it isnt and charge the battery with another phone or by butchering a power cable and attaching the leads to the battery. Then see if you can boot it into the bootloader and connect it to RSD lite and sbf the phone. There are stickies in the forums on how to sbf if needed. Hope i was some sort of help
Hello Guys,
I bricked my Milestone 2 when trying to install the update for version Android 2.3.
It appers the Google logo when the phone starts, but it shuts off by it self.
When I try the recovery mode:
I get to it, but when I select the option of wipe data and reset to factory, does it start, but shuts off in the middle of the progress.
(When does it shut, I can turn back on easy)
When I try the bootloader:
Stuck saying that battery is low Can't program.
(I left the phone charging all day and I get the same message)
I do not know what to do anymore, some of the users here, says that is the battery.
But, the battery is bad or the phone is not charging?
When I plug the charger, the light turns on.
What do you guys think?
I already see the option in use the Nandroid Recovery, but I'm nor sure how to do it...
I do not have any friend with the same phone, so I will have to buy another battery or a universal charger, that I can charge the battery with out the phone.
Thanks in advance for your help.
Jeferson.
Wow, that was there so many times. For instance:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1344740
or http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1363918
in the sum some facts:
- you can't charge battery in bricked milestone 2
- you MUST have some charge in battery for SBF flashing via bootloader
1) you have to charge battery
2) you have to flash SBF via RSDLite
Milestone 2 hardbrick
First I upgraded the milestone 2 kitkat then disappeared until it was trying to downgrade and there it all began. No button works x vol + vol - @ all possible combinations already tried the rsd lite does not recognize the phone, adb and fastboot also not the phone, but makes up the sbf_flash is waiting for the phone in the end, the only thing q works is the LED side of the micro usb is solid and sometimes q could use rsd she appeared sw update in progress so but after that it also could not switch on the phone. I read a lot and could not find any case equal to staff]
Please help me
God bless us all ..
Thanks Hemerson

Hello guys,
A day ago I decided to root my Huawei P10 lite. I unlocked bootloader and flashed TWRP. Everything worked fine. However I was unable to root my phone so I tried to lock bootloader. Thats where my problem started.... I locked bootloader via ADB and then it said the phone will reboot and factory reset. Phone was rebooted but now its ,,stucked" on huawei logo screen and nothing happens.... I just let phone to discharge and when I try to turn it on its still get to the logo screen and nothing. Always when I try to turn phone off it keeps turning on to the logo screen and Im unable to go to recovery or safe mode because button combination dont work. I cant even connect it to the PC via the USB cable....
Any ideas how to fix it (if its even possible) would be much apreciated.
Thanks a lot guys.
So, even you if you mounted the /system partition read-write it gets modified and the signature breaks that's why your phone no longer boots.
Try following: shutdown the phone if you can, press volume down and at the same time plug in the USB cable and unlock the bootloader, then flash the latest firmware for the device using the HwOTA method:

Thats the problem, the phone cant be shut downed by the ,,official" way (hold power button) because it instatly power on after two seconds... Only way how to completely shut down is let the phone discharge.... Anyway when I try to shut down the phone and then instatly press volume down I always get to the logo screen then I get black screen (looks like its trying to do something) and then the phone reboots and again get logo screen... It looks like the phone is gone for good lol

EDIT
It worked as you said (holding volume down + USB) and phone booted successfully but then appeared shutting down possibly due to low battery... I will keep trying. So thank you very much, you saved my day lol.
Allright, the phone is gone for good... Whenever I try your trick (volume down + USB) the phone boot up to the OS but then always shut down because of low battery. I tried to charge the battery but it seems like its not charging at all... Got phone on charger for three hours now and still red LED diod shows low battery.... I think this thread can be closed and I will bring the phone to the service center and see if they can fix this or not. Again thanks for the help.
Try to charge it when is in bootloop or that's what you tried?

Yeah, now I have it on charger for 5 hours, got huawei logo on screen and red LED diod flashing... Strange thing is the phone is not heating anymore, even charger is cold... When I un-plug the charger the phone shut down in like 5 minutes... When its on charger its not turnning off so I assuming there must be some power coming through the charger to phone then...
This Huawei P10 Lite is quite strange piece of electronic.... Its just booted itself on its own and actually its working just fine... What would you recommend to do, now? battery is charging right now at 16%
