[Q] How can I connect Iconia with Galaxy SII?

Hi to all.
How can I connect my Iconia with my Galaxy SII?I wan't to transfer files from the one to the other.I have tried with Astro network and with Websharing but didn't work...
You could always sign up for a dropbox account.
I use the free version and swap files easily between an iconia, 2 smartphones (htc desire and galaxy s2) and a desk top pc.
Use "software data cable" to set up a FTP server and "file expert" to access it. BTW with software data cable you can access the external sd card on the iconia

Bluetooth file transfer
https://market.android.com/details?id=it.medieval.blueftp&feature=search_result
Thanks....Works great....
Just bind them via Bluetooth and you can send the files back and forth, one at a time. OR download Wifi File Explorer from Dooblu, I have it on my phone and tablet, it hosts a mini webserver when you run it and you can browse to it from any webbrowser and download files from it. also you can upload files to it. Worth the cost of the Pro version, but I snagged it free from Amazon's AotD.

Try to use Airdroid...it's AWESOME!
You can fully control your tab & transfer, add, and delete any file to any folder in it.
It allows you to browse all your files like normal windows explorer (or Mac finder) and you can copy all your messages and data.

Can't transfer files onto nexus 7 tablet from win 7 PC

I am having some major problems putting a file on my brothers Nexus 7 tablet from a windows 7 PC.
The files is a .json it is a safe file from a game that needs to go to the folder for that game so it can be used.
Whenever i try to drag and drop into the required folder it just hangs with the progress bar at 100% but the file does not copy.
It comes up with the error the device has stioped responding if i leave it long enough
Turns out that it is the location i can't save files to. Does anybody know how i can save a file in the Android folder. All it is is a save file from a game
Please help

Hi,
I would recommend you to use AirDroid for wireless file transfer. The best app out there at the moment.
You can find it on Google play store for free.

[Q] Transfer files FROM Nexus 7 to pc ?

Hi All ,,, Is there ANY way that you can transfer files ,, mp3's ,
photo's , downloads ,,,, FROM the Nexus 7 TO a computer ?
Is there ANY way to do this , or APP to use
that can do this ?
THANKS for all replies ,, KZ ..
yep. just connect your nexus 7 to your computer with the included micro usb cord. when your computer recognizes the nexus 7, click on it to see all of your pictures, music and the like. other options include google drive for written stuff, or evernote for the same. anything you download on the nexus 7 is located in a folder called download, accessible once you connect it to your computer.
Connect the Nexus 7 to your computer with the supplied USB cable and it will show up as a media device, at least on modern operating systems.
I either use Dropbox (installed on both the PC and the N7) or the app ES File Explorer over our home WiFi, connecting to a folder on my PC I've named Nexus7 and share with anyone who logs onto as me. You just have to know the local IP address of your PC (and username and password, of course) for when you connect via the LAN view of ES File Explorer. ES File Explorer remembers the connection for subsequent accesses.
I don't really use the cable for anything more than charging.
try out airdroid.the best remote control&transfer app i have seen.

I'm partial to WiFi File Explorer. It's in the Android Market. It temporarily opens a web server on your device allowing you to navigate the filesystem. DropBox, Box, or direct cable connection all work as well.

"Beam" or "drop" images from PC to Galaxy Note 10.1

Is there a way to easily "beam" or "drag and drop" files from the PC to the Galaxy Note and have them appear on screen? I have a docking station and I just want the capability to make an image appear on my screen when needed. Or maybe place it into clipboard so I can very easily place it in S-note (probably not possible). I work with artwork and a lot of reference photos and I need to be able to access them easily and have them propped up at my workstation...
The connection options I have are bluetooth, Wifi and horrible Kies USB. An IM program would be OK too... I just need the ability to open the files and copy them quickly. I suppose I could copy the files to USB, but it's such a hassle with the way drag and drop works on this tablet...
Have you tried Airdroid, yet?
Keis Air via wifi
Droid Air via Wi-Fi or bluetooth
Or any cloud service via the net...
With Dropbox coupled with Dropsync you can drop a file on your PC Dropbox folder and it will appear in your chosen folder on your 10.1

Es File Explorer--I set it up to connect to my wireless home LAN and move files between my note and network wirelessly. You can also setup Astro file manager to do the same , I believe.
Why beam when you can plug it in. ?

Settings, wireless networks, more settings, wifi direct on both devices. Or Allshare on both devices, set up from your pc/mac first you can sync everything including Dropbox or other clouds. Afterwards it is drag and drop on at your whim.
Pushbullet (https://www.pushbullet.com/) is one of the easiest ways that I have seen yet. Try it - it's good.
