Hi
I have a new Atrix that is a T-Mobile UK (open flex) phone. I have been given an unlock code which I have entered.
I am with Vodafone UK - but with my SIM in etc... I can't receive or make any calls.
I'm at a loss as to what to think of next.
Has anyone got any idea?
Your help would be really appreciated.

Hello All,
Recently acquired a T-Mobile MDA Vario, which I'm coming to grips with. Managed to unlock it using the very nice (and free) utility on here, however I don't seem to be receiving any text messages. I've read somewhere that the settings for this are part of the rom. Does anyone know if this is true and if so, how do I go about resolving this.
Is it worth installing a different rom (HTC or Imate)? Suggestions anyone?

Update - it would appear I can receive from other mobile users on the Orange network.
I spoke with Orange and they sent a sim update, to no avail. Could the loki unlock application have screwed my simcard?

I just got a US T-Mobile MDA Vario. I used lokiwiz.zip and unlocked my phone BUT I can't make any call or receive any call to anyone using the same network(FIDO). But i am able to make call or receive call to anyone who is not on the same network(FIDO) I am using fido in Canada right now. If anyone know why please help me. Thank you so much.
Hi, I have recently bought a Sim unlocked O2 XDA Mini S. I am on Orange network and put my sim in. Making and receiving calls no problem.
It wont allow me to send or receive text messages. I called Orange to replace Sim and they wont do it. I am absolutely clueless about ROM s or IMEI s etc. and i would appreciate help and explanations as though i am a 10 year old.
All i know is that the device is a G4. I have tried searching forums but have no idea where to find it.
Please help as it is getting really frustrating.

I can't really help, but I can say I have the same issue, so you are not alone!!
I have an Orange sim in an unlocked T-Mobile MDA. I have got the GPRS, Internet and POP3 emails working. I can send and receive calls but cannot get any SMS messages !! I have been at this for three days now.
Orange don't support this phone so will not help.
Any solutions to this welcomed !!!
have just bought a NIKI which was originally locked to Orange. Have had it unlocked and using my Vodafone sim.
I am totally new to this and desperate to get it back on the net and to get MMS working

I'm looking to buy a new unlocked Imagio and use it with AT&T (Edge only). Most of the posts i have read says no problems but some said they could not make it work. Just trying to confirm before purchasing.

It worked fine on AT&T. The only problem I have is that I can not use the Internet or recieve MMS Messages. Can someone walk me through this process please. My unit is unlocked. Any suggestions would be much appreciated.

Did you setup the APN for AT&T ? I recently had to setup an LG unlocked phone for AT&T and used the info in this thread http://www1.gsmarena.com/forum/viewtopic.php?t=25238. Use this info to set yours up.
