i have bought a u8800 from my friend
but the screen is cracked from the corner
i think the digitizer needs to be changed
but from where i can find silicon case and digitizer in karachi pakistan

do u know how did your friend break the phone? i mean how hard did it hit or fall?
He had slipped the phone on the floor

Few days ago my i dropped n broke touchscreen but it works, lcd is in good shape
so i ordered touchscreen n opened mobile till lcd n i found out my hd 2 is European version and touch screen which i bought was t-mobile version,
now i want to buy lcd+touchscreen already assembled coz not want to mesh with welding touchscreen with lcd
so guys i need your help is it possible to buy t -mobile version of lct+ touchscreen assembly, coz if i will break touchscreen again it will be easier to change touchscreen in t mobile version

Sorry but not really sure of what you are asking here. are you wanting to buy a LCD screen and digitizer already connected? If this is what you are wanting then yes you can buy them in a combo where they are already together. The only deference between the European combo and the T-Mobile combo is the European combo has to be soldered to the main board and the T-Mobile combo does not. If you do a search in this forum you might find several threads that are very informative on this, I have one that come to mind but it is probably way back in the pages of this forum.
I accidentaly dropped my tmous todpay and the displey has broken :-(
I need to know is it possible to replace only the glass and are the replaceble parts on the Tmous and EU version the same ??

please if someone could advise me where to buy a needed part, , I only broke the glass, the phone works perfectly, but I got a few tips to buy the whole set to avoid damaging the digitizer when I change the display .. everything is selling on ebay, but again it is much easier to buy with the recommendation of someone...

It seems that the new s4 has a very sensitive lcd screen i smashed mine on the inside without even noticing it by just sligtly bumping on a wall while having the mobilephone in my side pocket.. :crying:
What i wanted to ask..I actually own the GT-I9505 model and i was wondering because i found the screen&digitizer assembly for GT-I9500 much cheaper than the other one if there is actually any problem with using that assembly instead of the other one that fits my model.
The seller assured me that there wont be a problem but i have to make sure so that i dont spend 200 euros for nothing...

I suggest get from the Samsung service centre only as they will fix it properly and u won't have any issue I have suffered with my Google nexus once going for little less cost lcd

my daughter has shattered her lcd screen on her s 4.
does anyone know a good place to get it replaced I live in the Manchester area.
all the quotes im getting are around the £150 mark does this seem about right.
Have you contacted Samsung directly and asked them how much they will charge? £150 seems about right for glass and LCD replacement if done professionally.

I think to find a Samsung brand service points because they are relatively cheap to replace the current flagship phone with LCD display for a guarantee. In my country at least, is so.
They are round about that price on eBay.Id try carphone warehouse so you can get a genuine screen.

The carphone warehouse.They can be authorised Samsung repairers, or Samsung HQ is down Newcastle way.
But he could send it to Hungary if they are "cheap" as you say.

My girlfriend has dropped her S4 and the screen cracked. Having watched a screen repair video for the S4 I think I can do the repair myself but it seems that finding a genuine screen at a reasonable price won't be easy. Has anyone got any recommendations?
Good question! I need to replace the LCD on my brother's S4, after he went swimming in a lake with it. Bump
Just look at ebay. There are plenty of them. Just order one from china or hongkong if you want the cheapest. Every screen that's for sale comes from there originally anyway.

On eBay they're mostly 3rd party screens even when they claim to be genuine. Too risky.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's only the digitizer. It would be cheaper to repair but more fiddly.
