Good evening everyone.
It seems that the new s4 has a very sensitive lcd screen i smashed mine on the inside without even noticing it by just sligtly bumping on a wall while having the mobilephone in my side pocket.. :crying:
What i wanted to ask..I actually own the GT-I9505 model and i was wondering because i found the screen&digitizer assembly for GT-I9500 much cheaper than the other one if there is actually any problem with using that assembly instead of the other one that fits my model.
The seller assured me that there wont be a problem but i have to make sure so that i dont spend 200 euros for nothing...
Thanks in advance and greeting from greece

Have a look here. Worked for me when I had to strip my 2i down.
Where did you get your screen from by the way?

I got the screen from here, http://www.runpda.com/ , it cost £93.00
including shipping. But I got stung by customs for £38.00 Tax, rip-off, so it cost me £131.00 in total. I've bought from this part of the world before and not been charged by taxman, its just the luck of the draw.
Someone suggested this place in the UK, but I had already ordered, if anybody tries this one, post costs etc for everyone. Mobile Repair Centre in London. 177a North end road 0207 610 3103.
I've dismantled my XDA IIi and the new screen is in and she is working fine now, I'm so happy. Thanks to all
Guys/Gals
Does anyone here know how I can purchase spare internal parts for the Galaxy Tab 10.1? I had one given to me which was quite badly damaged and I have managed to resurrect most of it. I have a new LCD, digitizer, main board, rear housing etc but missing a specific ribbon cable and front housing/mould to take the LCD and digi.
If anyone can help me source the relevent bits and at reasonable cost, I would be VERY grateful.
I am in the UK so approved repair centers, vendor refurbs in this region would be better.
Thanks all.
-Michael

sorry no one has answered. There have to be places, but I don't have any good ideas really either. Maybe damaged ones off ebay you can canibalize?
If you can read this it was sent using my GT-P7510.

Tried eBay no luck yet. It seems even ANovo can't help me and they're the only ones who repair the tablets in the UK. I'm stuffed.
It sucks if repair centers wont sell parts, I guess you're right.

hi all
my daughter has shattered her lcd screen on her s 4.
does anyone know a good place to get it replaced I live in the Manchester area.
all the quotes im getting are around the £150 mark does this seem about right.
Have you contacted Samsung directly and asked them how much they will charge? £150 seems about right for glass and LCD replacement if done professionally.

I think to find a Samsung brand service points because they are relatively cheap to replace the current flagship phone with LCD display for a guarantee. In my country at least, is so.
They are round about that price on eBay.Id try carphone warehouse so you can get a genuine screen.

The carphone warehouse. They can be authorised Samsung repairers, or Samsung HQ is down Newcastle way.
But he could send it to Hungary if they are "cheap" as you say.

It's good, but I think not everyone can replace this
My girlfriend has dropped her S4 and the screen cracked. Having watched a screen repair video for the S4 I think I can do the repair myself but it seems that finding a genuine screen at a reasonable price won't be easy. Has anyone got any recommendations?
Good question! I need to replace the LCD on my brother's S4, after he went swimming in a lake with it. Bump
Just look at ebay. There are plenty of them. Just order one from china or hongkong if you want the cheapest. Every screen that's for sale comes from there originally anyway.

Genuine parts at the site below, but may pay more than Ebay where its about £80-90 for the same thing.

On eBay they're mostly 3rd party screens even when they claim to be genuine. Too risky.

I'm not 100% sure, but I think it's only the digitizer. It would be cheaper to repair but more fiddly.
Hi Guys,
My S4 yesterday fell down from 1 feet distance and after that display showing like this :crying:
Please check and let me know to find solution for this.:fingers-crossed:
Attached the screenshot.
Replace it
How much will it cost? Any Idea?
Try googling it
I checked in eBay and cost coming around 120$ USD
Will it worth to buy there or service center is better?
Need someone advice before spending bucks blindly
