I just installed the V6 SuperCharger. Now after the Galazy S screen, I get the "force close" virbrate and it hangs there. I tried installing an "Update" zip for Froyo that I still had on the SD and to no avail. What do I do now?

Curious, what settings did you apply in v6?
Sent from my SPH-D700 using Tapatalk
1 and 6. Oh well. Time to start over!
I believe the recommended settings were 9 and 11.

When you say 9 AND 11, I'm assuming you mean 9 OR 11. I'm only seeing an option to set one value at a time...
Am I correct with this assumption?
You're right that you can only do one at a time. I should have said 9 then 11.

Thanks for clarifying, but, see, here's where I'm not so clear: Do you first try 9, play around for a while and then set it to 11 when you feel like it? Or, is the actual setting a 2-step process (set to combination of 9 AND 11)?

Run 9, run 11, reboot. Make sure you check run as root. I personally prefer 6,11

anybody know how to do that in the new pre-beta3? previously i have to change the vold.fstab file.
I saw it as one of the features in pre-beta3, so i think there will be an option for that in the setting right? but i couldn't find it.

Everytime after I received a call (for example, while using Waze while driving), the phone would return to the phone app instead of Waze.
Is there a setting to disable this behavior and let the phone return to the app that was running prior to accepting the call?
There is, I don't remember where I saw it, give me 2min

That does allow several things to happen, but not return to the previously run app... It's annoying that when I'm driving with a navi app up, and someone called then the screen would return to the call log. What I'm trying to do is to get the screen back to the navi up immediately.
Is this even possible?

AOKP just released a build today with that option in the dialer. Maybe you can just extract it from there and push it to your phone.

The nexus 10 youtube app is completely different, it's not just a DPI difference, they actually redesigned everything :

I've been looking for those settings all over the place. No matter how much I fiddled around with it, I couldn't get that "tile" look.
Mind sharing the settings please?
I think that was the old Youtube version. You can download-then-sideload it from here:
http://www.androiddrawer.com/7215/download-youtube-4-1-47-app-apk/#.UScS71dc5tM
(just un-install your current version).
From version 4.2.16, youtube changed to the current look. So just try the 4.1.47 version.

As has been pointed out, it's the exact same apk. The screenshot posted is of an older version of the app.

My cousin just bought the Nexus10. Its youtube app look just like the screenshot. Too bad he doesn't want to root so I don't think I can pull the apk out.
But I will check the version# to see what the difference. Anyway the old v4.1.47 will give the same look and should work just as good (I'm running it on my TF101).

OK... my cousin just turned on his Nexus10 the first time (when I saw the youtube apk)..he hasn't run any update yet.
SO.. I guess it came with the old youtube apk --> if anyone likes the old look, just use the old version then. Nothing to do with DPI.
Looks like another Google security feature is in the roll out stage.

I wonder how this would compare legally to fingerprint/pin lock in regards to being compelled to unlock your device.

Don't think it would be any different than the other "trusted" options like face, location, and on-body. They are just smart compliments to backup pin/pattern locks.
Has anyone here received this update yet? I've been anxiously awaiting its arrival or been searching for an APK download. Looking forward to trying it out.

im running terminus. but the stock options are just like the ones i posted. either euphoria is missing some files/code, or you somehow are. find out if other euphoria users have ok google working with the screen off and unplugged. if its just euphoria, now a days its easily fixable.

it would have to be fixed/enabled in the rom. but you might have a temporary solution, if it still works. i started a thread last year about this, and not working on aosp roms. until we finally found a solution to it(just some missing files in aosp source). check out the thread, yes its old now, but you might find a temporary solurion in there that will work for you. and please ask, thats the only way we will find out if its the rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/nexus-6/general/ok-google-everywhere-aosp-rom-t2963716
