Gaming on g3

we all bought galaxy 3 happily bcoz of its low price and the fact that it will support froyo
but in a month or so after trying out some games on g3,i felt like i should have gone for some other phone[even g5 does better]
android market has lots of games,but most of them are just casual[bored of them]
other good looking games wont work
*so i request all g3 owners to post names of games which which works perfectly[no lags]
on our phones....ALSO POST THE GAME VERSION WHICH WORKS
*lets try out all these goodlooking games [gameloft,e a etc..] and make a data base of WORKING games on g3
......lets make full use of our g3
DELETED THE LIST,THERE ARE TOO MANY GAMES,JUST READ POSTS TO KNOW ABOUT GAMES....

Try PES11...works good on custom ROMs...then Dungeon Hunter works...Fruit Ninja...Angry Birds...these are cool games

I agree. If you want high end games try a high end phone And have in mind this is a PHONE, not a psp.I would like to be able to play half life 2 but it is just not possible.

Does anyone else have a problem with really bad lag in Angry Birds Rio?

Ninjump and papertoss are fun games....works perfectly..

Lags only at the beginning.when a new level starts wait for 4-5 seconds.then start playing

Angry Birds lags on further levels...i play PES11...no lag smooth play...on Indroid 3.0
and yeah i dont use STOCK roms...better to opt for some Customs!

root your phone and install an advertising removal application. That should speed up things already....and make sure you have a less as crap installed on your phone
to add to the list here: I have Scrambled Net that keeps me busy from time to time
Next to that, only Angry Birds installed.
Tried Parallel Kingdom AOT and Pocket Legends (3D MMO) also, and they run very good....but boring after a week

I just wanted everyone to know that if you get on your computer by following Natious' guide for getting Gameloft games cheaper, you can also download this brand new to Android game which works great on the Tab. Although there seems to be no startup movie....

Yeah, it was two dollars for me also. Way better than 6.99.
I have not been able to get dh2 working. The people who claim to have it working arent sharing.

Ugh, download keeps crashing. Fail Gameloft servers are fail.

I had no problem downloading and playing the game on my stock Galaxy tab. Just hooked it up to wifi and it was done in 5 minutes. No lag whatsoever.

so you got the droid x version as well?

Everything works great. Except no movie in begining. I dont even know if there is one.
Droid x version is the ticket.
If anyone has trouble downloading the sd data, pm me and i will send you a link.

I am a heavy gamer and in the middle of compiling a list of great tab games and which version works best. You know htc droid samsung ect.
I havent been able to get gangstar miami fully working full screen yet. Getting there.
I am also trying to find a company that puts out hd games like gameloft does. Except i want the games to work like they say the should. Spiderman is a perfect example of a great game that doesnt work properly.

Asphalt 6 & Eternal Legacy HD works fine (with spare parts' mod to fit screen, Motorola droid X version)
Dungeon Hunter 2 HD not work, crashes at startup (Argh!)

Nova 2 doesnt even work on my htc desire, and i can get almost any game to work on there. Someone said asphalt 6. Arent all the car pink?
We might get nova to work if we could get gongerbread, but the current cyanogen port for us is extreemly buggy.

Updated my Desire HD with official Gingerbread OTA update, Now loads of Gameloft Games Dont Work and say that its not the original version but they all are.

How to Get them Working again.
All games are now working, thanks info on Clearing the data.
To get them working again I uninstall every game using the clear data button first, then reinstalled each game and now there are all working, again.

Sorry for upping this topic but I think my question can help to clarify one thing: Does this operation keep the "saved game data" or will we have to start the game from the beggining? Thanks in advance...

I tried it there was slight lag at times but is definitely playable and touchpad was also working.

Works perfectly for me, I had a tiny bit of lag, but still playable

You have to start all over again as it's a clean install, just install and download all your apps and games again.

thanks, but well i am not able to open the android market ,so how should i download the games? and even the browser doesnt work says 'unfortunately the browser has stopped'......

Please be aware that Sony is specifically asking for feedback on this and has a format that they request you put your games reports in (see this thread http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1571463). I think that making the list here (and not in the Dev thread) is great but it would help Sony too if you also make sure that the reports conform to their format.
I'm posting this because if it's just a list of games that work well, I'd be worried that people will run to the games that work and in the process stop testing the other games...which doesn't help Sony diagnose game issues before a real release.

I use a backed up asphalt 6 apk and the same game files and Asphalt works but it's ugly, there are red lines where there should be drift marks and there are lots of other red lines everywhere but the game is playable.

So let's start : Temple Run( 95% lag free) , Temple Run 2(95% lag free),Temple Run Oz(90% lag free),Minecraft Pocket Edition(95% lag free),Dead Trigger(85% lag free), Into The Dead(90% lag free),Fruit Ninja(100% lag free),All types of Angry Bird(100% lag free), Manuganu(100% lag free),Subway Surfers(80% lag free), Bad Piggies(100% kag free)
Those are the games that i play, you can write down more awesome games that works more that 65% lag free

Heist the Score and Arcane Legends also works well..what i can say..around 85% both.

Other games that i have played are: Dead Space(runs pretty good for this phone..85% maybe), Max Payne(also runs good but sometimes it lags)..i really liked this 2 games, Splinter Cell Conviction(95% lagfree), Backstab(lags), Nova(95%), Modern Combat 2 Black Pegasus(90%), Gangstar Miami Vindication(85-90%), Gangstar West Coast Hustle(95%), Modern Combat Sandstorm(95%), Six Guns(80%), Modern Combat 4(70%), Nova 3(lags big time), Gangstar Rio: City of Saints(80%), RTCW4A(Return to Castle Wolfenstein for Android, you need the original pc game's files to play it..runs decent), Super Hexagon(95%), Dark Avenger(low but stable fps).I think there are more but i don't remember right now

Robo Defence - Very basic and easy TD game. No lag whatsoever.

i found out that we can play shadowgun whit little lag(about 75% lagfree) and call of dutty bo zombies(90% lag free), at least for me

I like Pocket fap free, not quite a game but its cool... and best thing of all, it doesnt lagg.

Yea i played Shadowgun but i remained stuck in a cave when a digging machine come after you because it was too laggy..right now i play Shadow Guardian which works really good (95%) and i try to make Gangstar Vegas work but it just force close on Mildwild v-4.9 (based on oxygen), i will try on dGB.

I've played the amazing spiderman it lags a little but I've noticed on other phones the graphics look better, I think I need the hd version apk but I can't find any, shadowgun and shadowgardian was smoother.

Ok here are some games that i tested and worked no lag : Temple Run 2 ,Jetpack Joyride, Zombie Highway,Candy Crush Saga, Drag Racing , Minecraft Pocket Edition, Hill Climb Racing, Angry Birds, Bridge Constructor, Chicken Invaders
All these games i played them on ICS rom
