[!] List of games working good on a Slide

I suggest to create a big (as big as we can) list of working games on our Slides.
Here's what I sometimes mess around with on my phone:

Zenonia --> rpg action pretty good/great
raging thunder 2 --> racing great
beatdown boxing --> the name says it all great
iron sight --> robots shooting each other by turns xD great
wave blazer --> boat racing great
rackless racing --> truck racing in dusty roads average, kinda lags
caligo chaser --> rpg good
im running eclair sense Liberated slide at 806 mhz as well... ondemand...

I am disappointed that someone else had to mention Angry Birds for you. since it was definitely the most hyped and for sure one of the most played android games.
howabout the Abductions series? great games, same basis as papijump if a comparison had to be made

Well, to tell you the truth, I never played it, I just can't install it. It's ridiculous. I've tried apk, market and adb thing, nothing works for me. Same thing with the Seasons version.

Angry birds works good on stock rom. Just lags a little but when there are a lot of elements.

Hawx works? I've only ever seen the HD version. Is there a lower res version out for it? Or do new ones just resize?

Yes it works great, I have already beaten the game. I think it's the same version (3.3.1 in my case) but just with hvga textures. I had some issues with downloading the additional data so I just got it from some LG gt540 device and put it on my SD.

Lol you guys. I just installed snesoid and psx4droid earlier today so I could go back and play ChronoTrigger and Final Fantasy Tactics again. I have both systems and games in a box, but now I can play on my phone! Once I get through those, I'll have to review my n64 games and see what I need to play through again. I wonder how hard it is to play goldeneye on a phone.

whoever tries it out please let us know how the games perform (star fox, Zelda, etc).

I just played OoT. A little choppy during cutscenes and high action times. Fun though. Running stock 2.1

Starfox runs well once in a level, but menus suck, and there isn't audio.
Super Smash Brothers has graphical errors on the character faces, but otherwise runs fine.
LoZ: Majora's Mask, closes a lot, and lots of regions are black.
Kirby Crystal Shards can't ge past the tutorial.
Mario Kart 64 runs beautifuly!
That's all I've tested so far. It has a lot of potential, I would recommend purchasing it.

I bought it and it's worth it. Mario 64 is 100% playable with sound, same with Diddy Kong Racing. Mario Kart seems to be working well. I tried it on the SyndicateROM which runs at 1.2ghz

Damn I would jump on this right away & play OoT if it weren't for Beyond Good & Evil being re-released in HD on Xbox Live yesterday. Thanks for the heads up OP!

Mario 64 and Mario Kart both work like a charm. Even Turok 2 is playable. The issue with the emu as of now seems more to be with stability than performance, as I get tons of FCs in most other games I try to run. The potential here is great though, and the fact that the dev published an update so soon after releasing the app pretty much speaks for itself. Money well spent

Lol ya same, just bought it on live last night.
Think I might still get this emu tho, his snes one is good and I looooved diddy kong racing. N64 emus always have issues

Add starcraft 64 to your list.
It doesn't work (you can try, but it closed shortly after I loaded it).

tbh if it's your first time, its worth it to play it on a pc emulator so you can really soak it all in. I recommend project 64, and even then the controls were kinda hard to use perfectly.

You can use an xbox or ps3 controller with project 64.

Plants vs Zombies (Has loading issues but once it starts up, it runs perfectly)

Basketmania (I would LOVE to buy the full version but it lags too frequently on my phone)
BTW has anyone tried Turbo Grannies? I don't understand how the game is playable... the controls are horrible on my phone no matter how I adjust the sensitivity.

[ Discussion]-The one game you always go back to.

This isn't a ratings topic or a top whatever topic...This is a topic of what game you just can't get enough of. Don't get me wrong there's a lot of great games out there. I'm curious of the diversity of the crowd/ XP community.
For me...its Minecraft. I started playing it on android & after uninstalling to check out other games, I always bring it back. I like how smooth it runs. Its the one game that I have truly never had a problem with...but enough about my choice.

Being a classic gamer, I bought my xperia play mainly for emulators. The first console game I ever owned was Sonic 1 for the master system. Even these can always pick that up and not get bored

I found that the xperia play is great with NES and GBA emulators, maybe I'll try to get a SNES one soon as well.

My Boy! is my favourite. The UI is tidy and easy to follow. It has the ability to disable linear filtering. Cheat support was included with the latest update. I get full speed in all the games I play without needing to use frameskip.
VGBA has good compatibility but the UI sucks and is battery heavy. Also the developer is employing dirty tricks like preventing people with LP installed from using the app.
GBA.emu you would expect to be good but performs very poorly on the Xperia PLAY and other single core devices. You get lag every 10-15s with frameskip on, and is slow as hell/unplayable with frameskip off.
Gameboid used to be my favourite until My Boy! replaced it. Both Gameboid and My Boy! are similar in the UI and performance. My Boy! is slightly better in both those areas, and seeing as Gameboid is no longer being developed, it made sense to buy My Boy!.

Draw Something... Yea yea yea, make fun of me, I keep uninstalling it because nobody plays it. I always go back to installing it after a few weeks without it because I feel like playing with someone. Nobody plays it anymore, so I uninstall it. Repeat process.

So let's start : Temple Run( 95% lag free) , Temple Run 2(95% lag free),Temple Run Oz(90% lag free),Minecraft Pocket Edition(95% lag free),Dead Trigger(85% lag free), Into The Dead(90% lag free),Fruit Ninja(100% lag free),All types of Angry Bird(100% lag free), Manuganu(100% lag free),Subway Surfers(80% lag free), Bad Piggies(100% kag free)
Those are the games that i play, you can write down more awesome games that works more that 65% lag free

Heist the Score and Arcane Legends also works well..what i can say..around 85% both.

Other games that i have played are: Dead Space(runs pretty good for this phone..85% maybe), Max Payne(also runs good but sometimes it lags)..i really liked this 2 games, Splinter Cell Conviction(95% lagfree), Backstab(lags), Nova(95%), Modern Combat 2 Black Pegasus(90%), Gangstar Miami Vindication(85-90%), Gangstar West Coast Hustle(95%), Modern Combat Sandstorm(95%), Six Guns(80%), Modern Combat 4(70%), Nova 3(lags big time), Gangstar Rio: City of Saints(80%), RTCW4A(Return to Castle Wolfenstein for Android, you need the original pc game's files to play it..runs decent), Super Hexagon(95%), Dark Avenger(low but stable fps).I think there are more but i don't remember right now

Robo Defence - Very basic and easy TD game. No lag whatsoever.

i found out that we can play shadowgun whit little lag(about 75% lagfree) and call of dutty bo zombies(90% lag free), at least for me

I like Pocket fap free, not quite a game but its cool... and best thing of all, it doesnt lagg.

Yea i played Shadowgun but i remained stuck in a cave when a digging machine come after you because it was too laggy..right now i play Shadow Guardian which works really good (95%) and i try to make Gangstar Vegas work but it just force close on Mildwild v-4.9 (based on oxygen), i will try on dGB.

I've played the amazing spiderman it lags a little but I've noticed on other phones the graphics look better, I think I need the hd version apk but I can't find any, shadowgun and shadowgardian was smoother.

Ok here are some games that i tested and worked no lag : Temple Run 2 ,Jetpack Joyride, Zombie Highway,Candy Crush Saga, Drag Racing , Minecraft Pocket Edition, Hill Climb Racing, Angry Birds, Bridge Constructor, Chicken Invaders
All these games i played them on ICS rom
