I'll start, just benchmarked today, 18 hours (and running) and I have 25% of Juice Leftover. I've also got about 101 apps installed.
Connected to Wifi each time I go home, no 3g/ I'm roaming permanently due to no coverage in Oregon. No 4G either.. my sig says the rom.. Stock EC05, tailored to my liking.
And ur set up n how's ur coverage? Do u use wfi, 4g, rom?

RandomRom 2.3 Hawk with bloatware Removed, voodoo sound V9 module loaded, busy box pro and golauncher ex with over 100 apps also. 27 hours and I still have 14% battery life and that has been after using 4g for about 3 hours, flashlight for about 1 hour(teslaLED), played games for about 2 hours combined, sent about 40 emails, texted all day(about 150 texts), browsed the web for about 1 hour, watch some youtube videos for about 30 minutes and used navigation for about 30 minutes(coPilot). That is also with weather bug auto updating every hour and gmail sync'd to do its thing automatically. The new RandomRom 2.3 Hawk is the absolute best!!!!

So what is that, about 4 hrs of screen on time not including the text and email. That sounds pretty incredible. I'd like to know your setup too. Did you happen to have an extended battery with that or is that stock battery?
From cellblock D
I can get like 4.5 maybe 5 hours screen on time on eg22 stock deodex with eg22 plus kernel.

I get upwards of 9-10 hours of screen time... epicurean v7 barebones. sync every hour and go launcher EX but i always keep my brightness on the lowest setting for everything. i dont go outside much during the day I txt all day long and take phone calls ranging from 5-45 minutes quite a few times. I unplugged my phone as it reached 100%, overnight it stayed at 100%!!!!! with ec05 it would be down to 45% by the morning, even on bonsai. I restarted just to make sure it wasnt stuck, nope still at 100% ive never seen that on a phone... 6h on without a percentage drop. Its still at 66% right now, ive been using it all day i expect to get 25 hours out of this charge. Simply amazing

What's your setup?
I'm on SRF 1.2 with Genocide 2.0 with EC05. Stock Battery.
At 41% at 2am -- unplugged at about 10am this morning (~16h). About an hour on calls, an hour with screen on (texting and some videos), no signal 27% of the time. My stats would be more accurate if I hadn't rebooted an hour ago. Oh well. Forecasted to to last another 10-15 hours + if I don't charge tonight.
I would love to see the stats you're getting with the amount of usage I have! I might get 2 days or more on one charge, and that would be simply awesome! Though I'm pretty happy that SRF is giving me solid stats for a day.
Btw, I'm a noob at this, so the most information you can give about your setup will be super helpful. I just learned to root and flash different ROMs/kernels last week. Also, is the ROM/kernel combo you have stable and most everything works? So far in my brief research SRF 1.2 is the best out of all of those... but I guess to each his own no? Thanks for your help!

Well Its been over 24 hours and i still have 14% My stats are all jacked up because i had to reboot 6 hours ago, but i wont be doing any flashing tomorrow so I shouldnt have to reboot unless i get some erroneous FC. Ill post a screenie around this time tomorrow.
my setup is just like i said, EG22 modem, epicurean v7 no addons id guess that means im running it unjournaled, go launcher ex honeycomb theme, and a stock battery. using go sms and no facebook, twitter etc... id think they were a big drain. I flashed straight over the latest EC05 Bonsai, i thought its battery life was good, but even with undervolts it was still usually 8-10 hours, maybe. No undervolts or overclocks. my benchmarks arent great, but my phone runs cool, smooth and for much much longer. I thought i was tied to a charger before.
25 hours, and counting, i want to see how long it will go.
Honestly this one kind of snuck up on me. I wasn't trying for a really long life but it ended that way.
RandomRom 2.3.4 "Hawk", superfreeze enabled.
31 hrs on battery
3 hrs 45 min screen on.

i did plug it in for about 30 sec to get some files off of it.
yup
Well its been as long as im gonna stay up, but i pulled it off the charger this morning, i kept it on for the first hour using it, and it stayed at 100% for the first hour. ill just post pics. still at 40%

I'm going to second the bizweastness of RandomRom Hawk. In terms of battery life, I just got 28 hours on one charge.
Caveat 1. About 4 hours of that was me sleeping. But still.
Caveat 2. I changed Tegrak scaling to "Powersave".
Not sure if #2 really makes any difference at all... I'm trying "Conservative" now... would be curious to hear if anyone knows for a FACT that makes a difference.

I'm torn between RandomROM Hawk and Scrambled eggs epicurean v7... And to make matters more tough in choosing SRF 1.2 (with genocide 2.0 and EC05) is still at 71% after 15 hours... though with light use (55m screen on and 11h with wifi on).
What do you guys think as far as battery life and quality of the ROMs?
15 hours 44 min on, 30% left, display on for 3 h 10m played a fair amount of music and watched youtube for a while, text all day and took a few short phone calls. Epicurean is where its at for me, but im considering a nandroid and trying randomrom for a day, see whats up with it. Id just hate to ruin what i have now lol if i put it down and only text people to reply then it plateaus, i like that, there does seem to be some memory leakage somewhere though.
i was with srf up to 1.2, i found it to be buggy, and i got a lot of fc with it. i tried to use it, but after a week i gave up and switched to frankenstein which is a good rom, stable and fast but power hungry, i switched to bonsai then to epicurean... so far its the best.

Hey guys I got my EVO in the mail on Thursday, and do I love the thing! I have been reading about battery life and was a little concerned at first, but that was then. Last night I unplugged my phone at 7pm and it had a 95% charge. I played with it a bit and texted until around 12am. I did not charge it and started texting and using it for a while this morning around 10am. It is now 4pm and I have 49% battery. If this is what everyone is complaining about, im happy with it haha.
Basically, it's people leaving 4G / Wifi / Bluetooth / GPS all on at the same time that kills the battery life of the Evo. My launch-day Evo has routinely done 20+ hours of usage with no problems.
The only times I've ever seen a marked decrease in battery performance, I could find that some app was hung up in the background draining the juice.
Rooted or just stock non root?

Come back after you try using data for an extended time (texts don't need data connections most of the time), having your mail sync for even every 3 hours or so and facebook, news, weather or any other auto sync feature enabled. Watch your battery die as quick as a witch under water.
My email syncs every 10 minutes, and my weather syncs as soon as it can. (not sure how many minutes). My facebook updates pretty often. And I have news updating as well.
My phone is also NOT rooted.
I get fine battery life, with WiFi connected I get much better standby than when using mobile data. Turn mobile data off when I'm out and about and the battery basically doesn't move. But I still can get 20 hours of use if I'm not on my phone constantly. I only turn off mobile data if I think I need my phone to last more than a day. Like camping or something. I have gmail pushed and weather and all that good stuff synced every hour. Been playing with juice defender which does increase battery life pretty good but you can get the same effect by toggling your mobile data with the widget. Juice defender does turn on data every 15 mins for a minute to sync which is nice but it causes a little lag when you unlock your screen because it turns on data as soon as you unlock, a little annoying.

I highly doubt this is possible especially on the stock battey. I personally know there is no way to have all those apps syncing at those frequencies on the stock battery and still get MORE than 9 hours of use. http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=783364
Unless you turned off your phone somewhere in that timeline and are not telling that bit of info. With the sync frequency you just gave, I seriously doubt your battery numbers are even the correct ones you're giving.

According to that, it says your phone has been powered on for 48 minutes and used for 15 minutes. Go back and check the link I gave in my first response and look at the screenshot most people would want to see.
EDIT: Saw your edit and your phone has been in standby most of the time. I personally am not impressed by standby times. But if that's what floats your boat then so be it. I personally have gotten 10 hours of CONSTANT use on the stock battery with apps syncing every hour and get 1.5 days normal use on my extended batteries.

I know that people talk about losing the first 10% in like 10 minutes, but has anyone ever noticed how long it takes to lose the last 10% of the battery? That sht is frustrating, going from 90 to 70 for me takes only about an hour, but the last 10% for me can carry me another 3 hours or so. My battery is teasing me.
Just recently got an Incredible. Using the HTC extended battery (2150 mAh) and I'm still only seeing ~14 hours of battery life. Also currently using CM7.
What is everyone else seeing?
I'm using the Redemtion Rom 2.2 with Incredikernel 12/21, and with the stock battery I can easily get over 20+ hours out of it. I'm also always on my phone. What kernel are you running? That might be your problem.
I'm using an 1800 battery and regularly kill my battery in half that time. I'm actually happy if I get 7 hours out of it. Since you have the 2150 battery pick up a wall charger for the stock battery and carry that on you too.

With very light usage (listening to audible books via audible.com app for about 6-8hrs, 5-10mins of phone calls, limited internet) with the 2150 battery and Lou's #4 kernel I got 52hrs from charger to 14%. That is definitely not the norm, but I thought it was pretty cool =p.
Normal moderate to heavy usage I get 24ish hours from charger to 10-15%.
Na up where I live everyone gets the $5 or $10 Verizon o ly prepaid texting plan. So that's the only way we talk.

Uh 1000 texts a day. Lets say you get 5 hours of sleep. That's 19 waking hours. Thats like one text message sent every minute for 19 hours. Not to mention received. i hope you're exaggerating hahah
I use mine kind of heavily with texting maybe a couple hundred total per day. 2-3 hours screen on total, maybe 15 minutes of talk time. I get 19 hours according to Battery Left. Running CM7
I'm averaging. Quite honestly there are many times where I don't get a break to actually put my phone down for like an hour or so at a time. But I judge the thousand a day based on me resetting my handcent set counter and two weeks later iI was at just over 15000 sent.

Sure, I am playing around with CM 7 nightlies at the moment, but I'll switch back to my old set up and see if I cant get a ss of a number close to that for you.
As I said though, it was very light usage for a few days.
I was running CM6 with invisiblek #18 and getting over 18 hours on the stock battery with pretty consistent use
Using SR 3.5 rom and chad's latest incredikernel.
With mostly having the screen off (no more than 45 min on) it lasted 48+ hours with 22% to spare - note that is not my normal usage, just a test.
Normal usage for me is:
Solid 5-6+ hours of screen on, and it'll last a good 23 hours (as of last night, long day lol) -- Most of the time after a full day I'll plug it in with 40%+ left.
Daily usage also includes
- 45mins of GPS usage
- 2-4 hours of Pandora streaming
- ~50 txts
- ~20 minutes of phone calls
- Youtube for ~45 mins
- E-mail / web ~ an hour
- 20 minute of games
I practically live on my phone but usually make it to the end of the day with 40+% left, depending on the day may be less- but I've never gotten the notification since the Kernel and ROM change.
Overclocking above the standard 998 will drain your battery pretty quickly, more than most other things you're doing. I noticed this and also noticed that overclocking didn't do much for me because 998 was smooth for every game I was playing.
Using HTC extended battery also and I do not bump charge, see:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=871051
I just find that hard to believe. If i stream pandora for an hour with a full charge it will drain my battery down about 20% thats using lou's #8 kernel and his redemption 2.3 rom. Thats with a 3500 seidio battery after a wall charge not a plugged in charge.
Not doubting you one bit but damn thats alot of tasking on a stock extended battery too end the day with 40% left.

So I upgraded my Pre for the EVO when it came out and have been using the same phone and battery since getting it. I found XDA and immediately started rooting and flashing. I started with Fresh and DC when those were about the only options. I use my phone fairly heavily as I am almost always listening to downloaded radio shows either thru a plugged in headset or a jawbone icon BT set. I would say that I averaged about 8 hours of battery life no matter what ROM and kernel combo I tried. This is everything from Fresh, DC, Virus, Warm, CM6, EViO, Evo-NonSense, MIUI, and all of the applicable kernels. The best I had gotten with all of the various combos was a little over 16 hours (with an SBC kernel), which I thought was AWESOME! Needless to say, I used Warm TwoPointTwo (including betas) for a while and touted its look, feel, performance, ease of use, and feature set alongside an SBC kernel.
I ALWAYS keep an eye on the development section for something to pique my interest and pull me away from my current setup. After trolling Lucid's thread for cm7 for a while, I took the dive when the official cm7 nightlies started rolling out. I have been with cm7 ever since. I also took advantage of savage and zendroid kernels and now savaged zen.
The longest I have gone so far is 2 days 10 hours! How? Well...conservative governor on an SBC savaged zen kernel and toggling mobile data off when not in use. Will that same setup work for you? Maybe. Unfortunately all EVO' s are not created equal.
Moral of the story? It takes alot of time, reading, and work to find the thing that works for your EVO. It was a pain to find the right combo, but it is worth all the work.
Thanks for your post. When you got the battery to last over 2 days, it looks like the phone mostly sat there, am I seeing that incorrectly?
I, like you, have tried all different things with the Evo trying to get battery and performance. I am locked on MIUI right now, it gives me the best of both worlds. If you want to try a Sense rom, try Ava's stuff. When I get "bored" with MIUI I will go back to Ava.

God will kill a kitten if you switch from MIUI. You don't want that on your conscience now, do you?
Yeah it really depends on your usage without it the 2 days 10 hours don't mean much. 2 days is no problem if I only use it to make a couple of calls. every 8 hours it only loses 4% charge when untouched with autosync on. The evo battery isn't bad it just takes tweaking like the op says
I get on average two complete days on a charge. With heavy usage I het like a day and a half, with light usage I can go 3 days. MIUI 1.1.28 w/ savage 1.6 kernel. I used to shut off my data too when I wasn't using it but with the MIUI build I'm on, I don't need to.
I really don't trust the battery use(in settings) in CM7 at ALL. I had my phone plugged into my car charger for 45mins on the way home tonight I unplugged it at 7:38pm.
It is now two hours later(10pm) it is showing I have been unplugged for10h55m9s on the posted screenshot. Then if you look at the other screenshot my battery indicator pro is showing the correct amount of time since unplugged.
I've noticed that the battery stats in cm7 do not reset unless you fully charge your phone. Otherwise it continues the count even if you plug a charger in.

I know I need to come up with something. my battery drain is friggin' horrid.
Unplug @ 100%, turn the screen on, let it sit with nothing, pretty much, running in the background and in 10 minutes will be down to about 93%....
Tried several different combos, but all are pretty much the same results...

I overclock at 1152 with smartass governor 98% of the time. Savage 1.6 is a HAVS kernel so I guess technically it is undervolted. I honestly couldn't tell you about the browser speeds, I've been on MIUI since the beginning of November so I really have no clue what the browser speed on a Sense ROM is. Everything is a lot faster with MIUI so I'm assuming my browser speeds have also increased.

This is typical, unless you use an SBC kernel, bump charge your phone, or unplug it exactly when the light turns green.
Any non-SBC kernel will not keep the phone at 100% charge while on the charger. Some will argue that doing so is dangerous for the battery or methods like bump charging put too much wear on the battery.
This is most likely the reason that phone companies rarely have a true percentage shown on their batteries, because they all do this. If we didnt mod to get that real number shown, you would think your phone was acting just fine.
Personally, if I am really going to be using my phone a ton in one day, Ill bump charge it, but otherwise I just accept that its going to drop that first 10% really fast.
The best measure imo of battery performance is how much % you lose when the battery is somewhat discharged, and off. Every phone will drain while you use it, but most of the hours of a day, your phone is off and idle. If you lose 1% per hour, or 5% per hour, that will make a huge difference in your up time per charge.
Unfortunately, mine doesn't stop at that 10%. For instance, mine came off the charger at 5:30 AM at 100%.
By Noon, it was down to 70%, and I had 1 - 3 minute call, no texts and maybe 20 minutes of playing Klondike before work.
I guess I'm gonna have to go SBC. Worst that can happen is I end up buying a new battery, just incase it does so it in.
So in 10 minutes you drop 7%, and in the next 6 1/3 hours you drop another 23% with moderate use?
That sounds like pretty typical battery results to me, thats about 26 hours uptime with a fair amount of use. But maybe others could chime in.
Dude, 5 hands of a card game is NOT moderate use. It's practically no use. Klondike doesn't use data, GPS, etc... nothing, except minimal graphics.
The one phone call literally lasted less than 5 mins, so yes, a phone that drops 30% doing nothing is drastic.
I seem to get pretty good battery life on Myns rom.
I can go at least 24 hours with moderate usage, all on the stock kernel.
Looks like I may have found a little better stability with the Netarchy-Toast CFS 4.3.2 Havs SBC less.
30 minutes of moderate use today and it only dropped 5%
The best battery life I have gotten is from Feb 09 Plutonium.
Miks 4.5 4.2 sbc, gps on updating all every hour call, text, surf, angry birds all freaking day, and get 14 to 16hours every day
MIUI
Wow i have been wanting to try MIUI for a while and i definitely will now.
I'm getting pretty bad battery life with MIUI 2.11 on hw 003. Can anyone recommend a good kernel? I'm hesitant to try the SBC kernels based on the potential battery damage, so savaged-zen is out, also savage-zen seems to have issues with usb mounting.
Is there a link to savage 1.6 CFS, which I've read in a number of threads now is a good one. Speed is not imp, stability, bt+usb working and battery life is.
I wanted to start a new thread comparing which GB roms have the best battery life....
I'm running CM7 and battery life isn't that great.

^THANKS^^ battery life on Simply honey 3.8 was pretty good....
This thread is a great idea, but let's put some numbers down rather then, "I get really good battery life!"
CM7: I get about 13 - 15 hours with minimal use on edge network.
Minimal use for me is about 2 or 3 phone calls about 30 seconds to a minute each. Less then ten text messages, very little to no web surfing. Check weather, look at news headlines.
Well, i have only tried CM7 and MIUI, wich is CM7 based, and to be honest, battery life is the reason that i came back to Froyo...just terrible batery life...i can't be charging my phone every 5-6 hours. On Froyo im using Super DragonModz on Project V, and i havent charged my phone in two days, and still its @ 25%...average/min use. Until GB gets good battery life, i might not be using another GB rom as a daily driver...
My battery just went down 2% on a 40 second phone call with my lady. Simply honey. It drains bad. This is my 4th cycle.

thats odd...have you tried doing a battery calibration....
anyways i get 10 hours on Revolution rom 2.0 with moderate use
moderate use -check xda couple times ,on h network always with background data ,some texting,3-4 30 second calls and ocing to 1.2ghz
Yea. I calibrated. I thought it was just a bad flash but after multiple flashes I had the same result.
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA Premium App
Blitzkrieg 18 to 20hrs moderate use 3-4 hrs screen time one.
Pretty good if u ask me.
Screenie attached 30% batt left. Calibrated two days ago.
With every type of battery caliberation it takes a few cycles of charges for it to actually work. I use sgs tools and apply script and that deletes battery bin files. But doing that is not gonna take effect right away i hope u guys know that.
Im on cm7 and my battery usage is better then i expected. With me using either google music or Audio galaxy streaming for a 8 hour workshift and texting and websurfing during a lunchbreak and when that shift is done i still have about 20-to 30 % left sometimes as high as 40% But if im not streaming music and just doing normal things like playing cut the rope and web surfing and emailing, texing etc i can go on all day with out a charge. So maybe u guys have a bad battery???
Simply honey 3.8 was eating up 3-4% per hour just idling and much more when actually bring used. Back to Trigger.
Sent from my SGH-T959 using XDA App
simply honey 3.8 has really good battery life i get 19 hours moderate use with kb5 modem and OC'ed to 1.2 ghz
On Revolution Rom, I can get 16-17 hours of heavy use, which is flashing a new build almost every hour, going crazy on the battery life testing. But people have reported about 24 hours of battery with moderate use.
Asgard 3.0 and 3.1 Both are giving me 13-15 hours with moderate use gaming (my kid 45min-1 hour) internet use, tweeting, email and moderate to heavy phone use (20-40 calls per day) and 1 hour of tunein radio.
I got an average of 15 hours on Blitzkreig with 15-20 short (under 3 minute ) calls, 35-40 texts and an hour or so surfing.... plus a little gaming. I am at 5 hours on Asgard 3.1 and 78% battery.

I am running the Revolution Rom RC1 also and I'm getting about the same battery life. It's about the best that I have gotten on my phone, Bionix Final 2.1 aside. Great job, keep up the good work Ali.
Revolution ROM's battery life is pretty good.
Can't compare with others since I've just started flashing GB roms now (I had tried MIUI before but back then the battery sucked so much it doesnt even count)
thanks for starting this thread, it was just what i was looking for.
i used CM7 awhile ago and the battery life was pretty terrible so i switched back to froyo. so now i was looking around again for reports of battery life now after a couple months of waiting, and looks like its still pretty bad. i guess im still sticking with froyo.
but hey i still appreciate all the work the devs do to bring GB to the vibrant
with all the MINIMUM use or HEAVY use
can you guys post the screen on time with it to shows how heavy/ minimum you use....
I've been using Blitzkrieg for a week or so and at first it seemed really good but the last few days it has been draining fast for some reason. I also have had it reboot a couple of times while on the phone the last 2 days. I'm not sure if it's related....
I thought I would throw this out there just because I found it quite amazing after a year of tweaking the vibrant. I just decided to swap back from Simply Honey to a 2.2x rom because I was having issues with reboots while on the phone. I had been using Bi-Winning prior to installing SH-3.9 so I went back to that but this time I installed the Bali v1.8.8UV kernel after reading some tips. I'm getting 48 hour battery life on moderate use where I was getting 18-20 before. This Bali kernel is something else. I think this setup is a keeper.
you just put on bi-winning and bali or did you undervolt as well? settings would be great cause with a 48 hour battery thats enough to get me to go back to froyo haha especially now that netflix is on froyo as well

I just put bi-winning on it, rebooted, put bali on it. I'm trying to think of anything else I did but I can't. I installed this combo friday night and I thought it was a fluke or I had forgot that I had plugged it up sometime over the weekend when I woke up monday morning with 25% battery. I made it from tuesday morning @ 7:00 until just now with 40% left. I Just plugged it up and I'm going to make an effort to actually benchmark it this time as I don't believe it either. I also just put the same combo on my wife's vibrant to see what kind of resultes it gets.
Am I subconsciously plugging my phone into the charger?
Yep, I get similar results. Currently I'm on ZenDroid 2.0.1 with Bali 1.8.8UV and I'm sitting at 35% remaining and 48 hours since unplugged. Light-moderate use I guess but with some gaming, lots of texts, several 15-20min calls, and wifi on 24/7.
ECOTOX's DragonMODz ULP kernel performs very much the same as well. I have a hard time picking between the two.

wow thats awesome, just checked out bi-winning and there are some decent themes as well. So this is with data and sync on as well?
I'm currently running on Asgard 3.1.2 (Same devs, right?) and it's running awesome.
Thought I'd upgrade to Bi-Winning 3.0 on my Vibrant.
I'm kind of new to this.. so since I'm on Asgard running the Bullet Kernel, all I have to do is flash Bi-Winning via. Odin3, right? If so, will I lose any of my apps/data?

Indeed. Full Google account sync and Facebook once daily. Data is on and using KB5 modem.
Oh and I've also started using the Screen Filter app to reduce screen brightness even more than the android minimum and it seems to be helping a lot as well. Check it out.

Just wanted to add a testimonial to the OP since I'm running exactly the same thing. Just Bi-Winning and Bali 1.8.8UV, it already comes undervolted by -25 I believe and I'm getting similar results on battery life. Kernel and ROM go very well together and it's quick, responsive and very very smooth. I'm using it with ADW EX launcher by the way.
flashed both and so far so good, battery is a little better but nothing as significant as 48 hours, do I have to wait a day or 2 to let it settle in first? Cause I know when i was on cm7 they said let bali run for a day or 2 then after that youll notice the difference
No pics, no proof
Anyone of yall use GPS at all or just moderate use....
The stock battery will not last with more than 2.5 hours (+/-) of Display use, no matter how you slice it.

Well, that's just plain wrong. I've been gaming through multiple episodes of "The Good Wife" with my family and my battery is down maybe 20%.
Now, 2 1/2 hours of an all white background on maximum brightness might kill your battery (flashlight apps), but not typical use.

I don't know exactly what "gaming through multiple episodes" means but a screen is a screen. There's no software affects the display's energy use. Like I said, the +/- depends on your brightness settings and exactly what you display on your screen. I challenge you to show me battery usage screen shot with more than 2.5 hr of display on time on a single charge (with stock battery). I don't doubt you can push 48hrs on a single charge, but chances are, the display on time is less than 3 hours
Does anybody have some screenies to prove it?
Sent from my GT-I9000 using XDA App
I have the exact same setup and my battery life is nowhere near as good. And this is just with data on, no bluetooth, wifi, gps, sync, etc.
Echoing the sentiments of others... Seeing is believing screen shots guys. Thanks

Well, you're in luck! I'm breaking in a new 1700mah battery and want to drain it down to 20% anyway. I'll do so with the screen on my default homepage instead of using the flashlight app. I'll run a stopwatch app in the background and get you some numbers. If you're right, I'll eat my hat!
Then again, since you said +/-, even if it lasts 72 hours, you're still right. It's just 2.5hrs +/- 69.5 hours
I'm the OP and for the last two days my battery has not been lasting nearly as long. Of course I have gone for light/moderate use to heavy use but also I'm seeing it chew through more battery when idle. I'm not sure what has changed to make this happen. I've kept wifi off. I don't think this had anything to do with it but it seemed to start using more battery as soon as I installed the google maps update but the battery profiler doesn't say anything about maps. Oh well...
Well, after 2hr30min, my battery is at 84%. Sure, it's a new battery, and the 84% is probably a little inaccurate, but I haven't stopped the test, so we'll see where it goes from there. Wifi, Bluetooth, and Data are on as well as several widgets on my homepage. I haven't done much with it except keep the screen on indefinitely and send/receive a few texts.
Anyway, the proof is in the pudding. Mmm... pudding...
