free VGA themes: ShivaFooL digital art

My dear xda-dev friends,
I am so grateful for this community, I have gained so much. I have been a digital artist for years, so as one way of giving back, I have made a set of themes from my digital art. I am offering them exclusively to my friends here. I retain copyrights for all the images, so please respect that, and use only for your own private use, I.e. No sale or redistribution. There are 13 tsk files, so you can have one for each lunar month. All are less than 200K, but only one is less than 100K. For other Oz-Vga users out there, you need to change themes in SE-Vga for it to look right in Oz-Vga, because otherwise you just get a small image and not the full screen image. (You do see more of the image with Oz-Vga by the way.) I hope these may add to someone else's enjoyment of their Universal. I use them myself of course. I also invite you to check out my website to see more of my art: www.shivafool.com
Cheers !!
Thanks for the contribution. They're great themes
Thanks argh2000, I hope they will help give an interesting touch to some folks' little friends.
any chance of posting some screen shots - so we can pick & choose without installing??
thanks in advance!
Screenshot!
screenshots
I have some screenshots that I wanted to post, but I couldn't figure out how to do it. I saw that some folks did this by putting their picture files in http://forum.xda-developers.com/files/
but I don't know how you upload files there so you can link them in your message. Please tell me how, and I'll be happy to post some screenshots here.
And now included here is a zip file with 13 screenshots so you can look and choose without loading them all into the precious storage memory. Most show the theme in SEVga, though some may well look better in OzVga.

[REQ]: Special Camera Application?

hi!
i was just wondering if there's a special camera application, that allows to take pictures while the screen is off. does anyone know such a piece of software?
thanks in advance
for what reason ?
if you want to spy then buy one of these new pens with camera and voice recorder with usb support ;-)
cheers
I mentioned this in another thread a couple of weeks ago and agree it would be a cool application to either have the screen off or not have the camera display any info on the home screen. I have situations where I take pictures of textures and things and I always hate people asking what are you taking a picture of...? Well I hope this gets created.
if i'd like to be a professional spy, i wouldn't want to do this with my mobile
and i only wanna take some pictures, no vids or sound.
I agree with Boss428man.. whereby an active video screen on your PPC can attract too much attention, and thus having eyes o9n U, all wondering what youre trying to take.
Good for bloggers as well, when they wanna take shots of unusual happenings around them.
Perhaps a disguised screen with buttons/text (eg. calendar app) with the button actively taking shots from the camera... that'll be cool.
*bumb* any news on this?
Hi, hi, put a piece of black paper over your display an nobody will see you taking photos...

Ha ha, hi-tech!
BTW, this isn't too difficult if I get a chance over the weekend, i might give it a go.
PS, dont let that stop another DEV - i'm not about to make a fully functioning suite or anything like that!
Steve.
try ateksoft coolcamera if it supports your device. it has option to show nothing in preview screen. maybe it will work for you.
But not sure if there is good photo resolution available. Anyway give it try if you wish
P.S. it is not freeware.

Panorama camera mode like HD2?

When messing with the hd2 a tmobile store, i remember its panorama camera mode is quite impressive. it automatically gets the panorama pic from moving the phone from left to right, rather than having to manually take multiple shots. can anyone confirm this? and if so, can anyone develope a cab??
thanks n advance
You might be better off having a look in the HD2 part of the forum, or asking their if someone can make a .cab and installing it yourself.
I'm gonna go take a peak now see if I can find it, if I do, i'll post it back here if I can find the thread.
Edit: Less than 60seconds of searching, is this what you are after?

Hey, I'd love to help if I can. Your problem sounds a little odd though. Could you show me an example? It sounds more like a hardware defect than something that photography tips could help get rid of.
Great! Nice tutorial...
