ok, so I just installed the manilla2d and really liked the camera except for one problem. it didn't work. I could play with all of the settings, but when I tried to take a picture, I kept getting an error. anyways, I was wondering if there was a different camera similar to the one that is included in m2d that someone ogt working on the mogul? I would have posted this on that thread, but with 300+ pages, I figured it would have gotten overlooked like everyone elses camera question that got asked on there. I appreciate any help, and if someone knows of one, if they could post a link for a cab as opposed to an exe.

Forgive me if this is the wrong place to post this but I had an idea for a program/mod. I find it would be useful if there was a way to use your camera with displaying the camera program. Kinda like a stealth like photo mode. Maybe the center D pad could be the camera shutter button while the stealth program is running in the background so you can take pics run and gun. Unfortunately I am not a programmer and have no idea how hard this would be to do however this seems like the right place to be.
I suggest you develop your idea a little further, change the post and maybe try to talk to no2chem.. or oldsap..

I mentioned this in another thread a couple of weeks ago and agree it would be a cool application to either have the screen off or not have the camera display any info on the home screen. I have situations where I take pictures of textures and things and I always hate people asking what are you taking a picture of...? Well I hope this gets created.

and i only wanna take some pictures, no vids or sound.
I agree with Boss428man.. whereby an active video screen on your PPC can attract too much attention, and thus having eyes o9n U, all wondering what youre trying to take.
Good for bloggers as well, when they wanna take shots of unusual happenings around them.
Perhaps a disguised screen with buttons/text (eg. calendar app) with the button actively taking shots from the camera... that'll be cool.

try ateksoft coolcamera if it supports your device. it has option to show nothing in preview screen. maybe it will work for you.
But not sure if there is good photo resolution available. Anyway give it try if you wish

i know this will be a very great app but i cant find existing or anyone who knows.. hence i am risking to post here for the good of all to get some attention...
it will be good to have a app to, on click activates camera and snaps using predetermined settings.
it will be good for see it snap it suituation..
current camera program will have the thing gone before it even loads..

Im really sorry if this is in the wrong thread but maybe it can help others.
But i did a couple of test with my girlfriends phone because she was getting mad that i was "lying" about sending her pictures.
Out of 20 pictures 12 were in portrait mode and 8 were in Landscape mode.....and she only recieved 12 pictures.
....can you guess which ones she did not get?
....yup, the 8 lanscape pictures.
Im wondering if theres a small fix for this, but for now im happy that i am aware that i have to take pictures in portrait mode if i want to start sending MMS's to people.....
....If anybody can confirm this with me, then i will somewhat feel sort of special, GOD BLESS!!!
