But, iPhones actually get updates. Unlike the Vibrant.
Only good thing about iPhones are the updates, and the build quality (iPhone 4).

You also have to remember that UK prices don't directly transfer to US pricing even through currency conversion. I suspect that the sgs II will be between $500 and $550 in the US at launch off contract.

I want a gs III

The only problem is my upgrades not till june, but my evos pretty much done and I dont wanna pay 100$ for new evo or 600$ for a gs III ANY ideas?

There will be something new and great by June, I'm sure. Have you checked around places like Craigslist to see what kind of deals are out there? What's wrong with your EVO?
I'm due for an upgrade next month. I can't decide between the EVO LTE or SGS3. There is a rumor floating around about a Galaxy Nexus 2 that would have a 1.5Ghz processor, 8MP camera and 32GB of internal storage. I know the LG Nexus device is coming, but I've never been a huge fan of LG, and I really like the Galaxy Nexus. Hardware wise, the supposed Nexus 2 would be on par with the SGS3, at least at a glance.
Edit: Just read a recent article on the Galaxy Nexus 2. Doesn't look all that promising, really. Looks like the SGS3 with a microSD slot.

My evo is cracking which is messing up touch input, and power button and distorting sound through aux, and no I havent checked craigs list yet, but on amazon its 530 and I really just want the gsIII Because it has a bunch of bad ass features

I wouldn't know. Just a rumor I heard...

Probably the upgrade price. You can buy out your contract. Just shoot Sprint an email or give them a call to find out what the buy-out is.

I actually just got mine in August. I'd been wanting one, and for only seven dollars, I got a fresh one. Sold my Inspire to a work associate. Honestly, I like my Nexus more.
