I have downloaded the energy rom for the HD2 ive don everything i was meant 2 like the radio and the hspl but im stuck on the boot logo screen and it doesnt change at all and i cant get it workin i only installed this rom cos i was gonna put froyo on it 2 run android but now i cant can some1 plz help me and yes i am a noob can some1 tell me how 2 restore it back 2 the original OS so it works again cos i need my phone and can it be step by step
I was going to type out how to do it, but I don't remember each step that vividly... In the regular hd2 section you can get help in the rom development forum for how to revert back to the stock rom. The top stickies should have all the info you need, plus downloads to the stock roms.
I have similar problem with Sencity Energy rom, and radio 2.15.50.14. Got stuck forever at android boot screen (green HTC logo) forever. I've tried several android builds but neither got past boot screen.
Anyone have solution to this problem?

sure, pull the battery cover, press the soft reset button, or pull the battery.... reinstall battery, it'll boot up into WM... done.
might i recomend formating your sdcard before trying again.
and yes , firs boot into android will take probably 20 min, it has to build a new filesystem on the sdcard, initialise, and a whole bunch of technical stuff thats obviously way over your head.
Hi ,I use energy rom too and i use this android rom and works perfectly try it out.

If you could post a link 2 it plz it would help me a lot thanks
I'm new to all this as I only loaded HSPL 2.08 on my phone for the 1st time on Sunday evening. I then loaded the new 2.14.50.* radio. Then I loaded NRG's 21916 Original Cookie ROM. Everything worked fine. And then yesterday I downloaded FroyoStone_Sense and followed instructions and now I'm playing Fruit Ninja
The steps I followed are
those for the energy ROM thread in this forum
then
search for "How to Install Android 2.2 Froyo on HTC HD2 easily" on google.

Go to the energy ROM thread, you'll find answers without having to ask.

Go to "settings, sound" and turn off audible touch tones in the "feedback" section. If that doesn't work, next time you're in a call turn on speakerphone and then turn it off again. That should stop your problem till next reboot. The first suggestion normally resolves the problem though.
Good luck

[Q] HTC.PRO.THREE android 2.2?

Hi. I've got a pre released hd2 called HTC.PRO.THREE with 320 Ram only.
I'm wondering if there's a chance to install android 2.2 on it.
thanks in advance
Well you dont actually "install/on" it, You simply boot it from your SD card so it would rely on the drivers of teh pro 3 been same as HD2, of that im not sure.
Just try and see what happens, If it isn't compatible it simply wont boot, it wont do any harm to the phone itself.
I just tried to boot darkstone SuperRAM FroYo v1.5 rom. the screen went black as it suppose to and it got stuck saying "jumping to kernel" or something like that the letters are too small to read it.
any idea?
I've seen another thread asking the same question as this and the answer he got was that the pre release hd2 and the final release are too diferrent to make hd2 builds work on the pre release sorry
I also found that the prototype one has got different memory mapping and it is not possible to have any king of android os on those type of devices.

[Q][HELP]HD2 CoreDroid GB 2.3.5 V3.7

hello everyone
My phone get stuck on "Get You Connect" screen
i wait for it about 1hour...can anyone help me?
i have install recovery 390mb and SD partition 1024mb....
but....its loading loading and reloading....please~
How do you get things done? What is the problem?
Just curious.
Do you have the right partition and the right clockworld mod version cos some roms require specific clockworld mod versions and if you use any other you get what your experience...Read the instructions on the rom page and you'll figure it out but my guess is you haven't set the right partition...and and with coredroid you have to download his instructions cos he's a little bit different from other developers.
hd2 android rom
hello i cant get it to work right either i got the hd2 coredroid 2.3.5 v7 version for the hd2 im using us tmous version dont know the right partions to make it work or is it not for us tmous please help???

i think it has to do with my kernel ore somting
sorry for my bad englisch im from holland!
can someone help me please ?
Need more info such as radio and current kernel.
Common problem is wrong cwm partition. Each rom has a different partition layout.
Post more info and ill try to help
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
have you got an actual Rom or an old one?
Upgrade to Android 2.3 (Gingerbread).
It is said that the memory management is better than before. The lag issue is less.
if your using a Sense Rom, It is very laggy on the hd2 and it will still be cos Sense requires a certain amount of speed that the hd2 can't really handle right now regardless of its flexibility. But Try wiping nand...dalvik cache and reflash your rom and a kernel afterwards and give the phone 15-20 mins after booting to settle in, don't just rush in and start getting anxious right away.
We need more details.

[Q] Reboot HTC HD2 to WM 6.5 from android 2.2

Hi guys, I'm pretty much a newbie to this all and was wondering if anyone could help me get my HD2 back to its original settings of being on WM6.5.
I recently upgraded it to 2.2 by NAND ( no idea what that means) but I was successful on getting it up and running on android.
Im now trying to be more adventurous and see if I can boot the rom to 4.4 but just for safe measures, I'd like to know how I can get the system back. Also if anyone can post the links of what Id need to download to get it to 4.4 and how I need to do that from 2.2 would be great. I don't know if I could just upload another android version on top of the 2.2 or if I would have to remove that first.
Thank you in advance

In future search before posting. To flash a higher version of Android (although 4.4 doesn't exist yet and probably never will) check out the guide in my sig. To flash a stock ROM just download one from the HTC website and flash the RUU in the bootloader.
I tried looking for previous posts that would hep, but this stuff is completely going over my head and I am still determined to get my HTC on an upgraded android version. What android version would you recommend? anything more up-to-date than 2.2 would be great (with everything working, I have read posts where some people have had problems with the camera not working)
I have had a look on the HTC website and they no longer support HD2 :-/ How can I restore it? *confused* I'm a complete newbie and a noob, yup both, but I will not be giving up
Further guidance would be great.
I think a JB ROM would be good if you want functionality and the latest version. If you want stability then 2.3 is probably best. The only real solution is to try a few ROMs out and see what you like best.
