Yeah I just switched to the Charge and I feel the same exact way. Even though the "phone" part of the fascinate sucked, the community and the development was unmatched. I always found myself flashing ROMS daily, etc on the fascinate. The Charge is just boring right now! Nothing interesting to do with it on a daily basis.
How's the thunderbolt treating you from a functionality point of view? I heard the the battery life is like 4 hrs, yikes!
Yeah battery life if horrible. 4 hours at work with low signal and 6 to 8 anywhere else. There is a few roms and kernels that get me to about 10 to 12 hours though. I started with the incredible so I missed and love sense but this Phone is bulky and heavy. The fascinate was thin and light with an awesome screen.
Almost all the great thunderbolt devs left xda including adrynaline. So sad.

The xda fascinate community is kind in shambles also.... All the devs r gone from here also. They all went 2 rootzwiki. We can still get some of their stuff here but there is no support from them on xda anymore. Sent from my SCH-I500 using XDA App

Rootzwiki has the same noob questions being asked daily aswell lol...there is just more of it here. Don't expect it to stop anytime soon either because more and more people are getting smartphones.
The worst part is the fact that they never bothered to read anything before posting. If they had some background, no big deal...

Just an idea for the community. Access to post in certain forums based on thanks could really help to clean some things up. Like post only in general until 50 thanks. If you are really a helpful part of the community then 50 could be done in a few short days.

that really wouldn't work very well because most people don't use the thanks button. I post stuff every day in general and q+a and all those forums trying to help people, out of my thousand posts I have like 65 thanks.

Yeah I actually noticed after I made this thread that devs are leaving all over this site and not just the thunderbolt section. I still think the users here are a bit nicer and stick together more being that the fascinate is so neglected by Samsung and Verizon.

At least it was an idea. I think that if something like that was implemented people would find the thanks button real quick.
Course nothing is a one size fits all but it would be nice if something coupd take care of the root issue.

Is it just me or is there WAY too many ROMs now? To be honest, options are always good, but it seems there are so many different ROMs being pushed out and that worries me. It seems the Development thread is getting polluted with all these roms. Most of them seeming useless, at least to me. But what do I know?
Note: Maybe I'm getting tired of waiting for TW
This thread is D.O.A. People complain when there's too little activity in the dev section, but I've never seen anyone complain about too much activity...
Just because TW is your favorite team, doesn't mean they should be the only ones posting roms.

I think sommthing big is coming. It's been a week since anything big even roms! Im confident in this community and yesterday there was an unlocked boitloader topic that was removes because it gave to.much info. How often does that happen. I didn't get t read through all of it because once I was done with page one it said it no longer existed. Im super excited let's rejoice

One of the reasons it has been quite is because there is an update soon. Kind of pointless to make a rom (or new version of an existing one), and have to redo it again to make it work with the new update.
Also that topic was deleted because the op was posting an IM convo that the developer didn't want being made public. It didn't really prove anything conclusive.
It also doesn't help that devs have to make a bunch of worthless posts like this one so we can reply our post in the dev area.
I have info for 2 different threads in there, but since I'm too new, I can't respond. Eventually, I'll get the minimum junk post quota done, and can tell them what the nvflash method described will and will not do. Till then, I'll just keep playing around silently...

There is nothing wrong with optimism, I agree; however, until there is an actual way we have to be careful because they don't want moto finding out and then quickly fixing it.
The real risk is moto blocking methods we use to gain root, or to back flash to an older SBF...

Have you tried talking to the devs on irc? They're still hard at work just not posting on the dev section because it all gets jumbled and messy

drock212 is correct, the devs are hating the dev subforum at the moment because of all the useless posts and information. If you jump on IRC and STAY QUIET UNLESS YOU HAVE SOMETHING USEFUL TO SAY you learn a lot about whats going on, as well as learn some new things about how your phone works. That's what I've been doing for the past few weeks and it's helped a lot.

Hey all I may get flamed and they'll say this is in the wrong section but in my opinion this is pretty general and is about ATRIX so this is a fitting section. I have great times here from the bootloader saga to the cm7 drama and we have come so far. In the graphics d scheme of things this was seemingly irrelevant but to us it was hours and hours of bickering flaming and success. I think I may get the gs2 tomorrow but dunno why. This is kind of a pointless thread but all this typing makes me wanna continue. Ill probably keep the ATRIX and make my choice of which too keep based on having both for a month.
What do u guys think? U think ATRIX development is In its infancy? I dunno if feel its at a stand still as appose to other devices that have been out. But im no dev just an owner ranting. Thanks to everyone for making my last 6+ months with this phone worth wile.

Atrix was a great phone. Never had any issues. But eyes getting old and can't see well. Will have to move on to bigger screen soon.

Dude, what's your problem? I have seen you digging up all the old threads. Are you ok?
Seems like lately the policing of the forums has gotten out of hand. I appreciate keeping reposts and wrong thread placement down to a minimum, but I feel like some of these over aggressive moderators are stifling the community. Information seems more difficult to obtain and group discussion seems to have slowed way down. I understand its difficult to keep so much info streamlined and well organized so my hats off to em, but damn, relax yo!

I was actually wondering when this thread would pop up. Enyo's threads were some of the best lulz I have read anywhere. My favorite Enyo moments were when Mods would show up with their badges and guns trying to tell extremely knowledgeable users/devs to sit in the corner and shut up, only to be proven completely wrong in the end...
Hopefully the next 25 days or so of his banishment passes quickly...
