I came across beautiful horizontal boot animations while browsing XDA. Since there were no threads about it here, I decided to create a new one for others looking for the same.

This has been a long time coming, but better late than never.
I should mention: THIS IS NOT FOR TITANIUM/CHOME. This is just for theming the new UI elements enabled with the (semi)release of WM6.5.

Hello Ganesh, these are themes for "old" manila 2D......than you have to install that first on your phone.......and for sure you loose some functionality like weather widget etc. etc.
And even than it may not work flawless.....

so here we go, i proudly present: the VillainROM Kitchen!
i wrote this up completely from scratch, so please be gentle when it isn't perfect at the beginning :roll:
also we were not able to test every rom combination, as there are millions of different roms possible...
please note the faq link on the lower right side. if any questions arise pleask them here, i will update the faq from time to time.
final note: i'd like to emphasize that i created this kitchen myself, and it was a buttload of work. however i did NOT create the rom or any of the apps or modifications that come with it (with the exception of minor fixes or changes). nathan is and will be the rom developer/maintainer, and there are other parts created by other people, for example the themes. i don't want to start a long list of thanks and credits, and i take care not to include warez. there are several other reasons why something should or should not be included in the kitchen, so if you feel that your app is used here without permission or credit please contact me. also let me know if you'd like to contribute, be it in form of a simple bootscreen or a great app...

Hi for all noobs/about to donate folk can you let us know exactly what a kitchen is please.
you can select options you want to include, for example apps or themes. then our kitchen will create the rom for you, you download and flash it. no need to figure out what adb is and how to remove or add stuff to the rom. check the link, it should be self explanatory!
also you can create a keyboard layout config file if you are using villain5.2 or other roms with the hacked keyboard from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=624416
the keyboard layout feature is free to all members of villainrom.co.uk btw.

Welcome the the Steel Blue CM7.
This is the first version of Cm7 SteelBlue Theme for Samsung GalaxyS.
It is based on Cm7 ROM that is still in Alpha stage of development, so the theme is also still Alpha.
Many of you will say that it is to early to make themes for CM7,
but the ROM is allready stable enough for that by our opinion.
Theme will follow development of the CM7 ROM.

Installation Instructions
Install the theme .apk
Apply it through theme manager,
it will probably ba a second theme
Preview has a bug, so no preview.

I have phone, msg, browser and gmail app.....but gmail icon is native can U make it blue? other option is, if I have icons I can change it for email icon...this one is nice

Is this able to be used on the HTC Desire? Don't worry I do know what I am doing installing and stuff, just wondered if it was compatible. I don't want to find myself in a boot loop.
I found this randomly through the XDA forum, and it is listed in the HTC Desire, Desire Themes and Apps, so I am confused.

The ROM is incredible and I have configured it how I want it but it is based on a dark design and I'm not the biggest fan.
I've done a search in that thread and I have found the stock theme zip (post #809) and have also installed the Note 5 theme from the theme store.
