Hey guys, everyone has reported a broken/ non-functional theme manager for MIUI. I think my topic is self-explanatory in the sense of I am talking about. However, I want to know (either through a log, etc) what are my manager settings or what did I do (by mistake) that permits me to apply themes on my HD2 and not everyone else (not even my wife's HD2).
If there is any way I can be useful for the expansive MIUI development by looking at anything on my phone, please let me know. Thanks.
I am very excited about starting to make themes! But then I thought 'Hmm, do I really know what I'm doing?' And the answer was: No!
So, I used to be very involved with making a new theme every week for my iPod Touch, but now I have my HTC HD2, my iPod is old news to me. So I'm hearing all this stuff about custom ROMs, what are these; and are they required for making a custom theme?
How exactly can I make my own custom themes?

The search feature would help you a great deal. Look into modding manilla files. Themes do not need custom ROMs. ROMs are the operating system and would include themes of their own. You can create your own theme on a stock phone with no other modes. Do some searching for Mode9 editor and CFC_GUI. These will help you in making themes.

Welcome the the Steel Blue CM7.
This is the first version of Cm7 SteelBlue Theme for Samsung GalaxyS.
It is based on Cm7 ROM that is still in Alpha stage of development, so the theme is also still Alpha.
Many of you will say that it is to early to make themes for CM7,
but the ROM is allready stable enough for that by our opinion.
Theme will follow development of the CM7 ROM.

Install the theme .apk
Apply it through theme manager,
it will probably ba a second theme
Preview has a bug, so no preview.

Is this able to be used on the HTC Desire? Don't worry I do know what I am doing installing and stuff, just wondered if it was compatible. I don't want to find myself in a boot loop.
I found this randomly through the XDA forum, and it is listed in the HTC Desire, Desire Themes and Apps, so I am confused.

I have a Galaxy S, I am on stock 2.3.4 JVQ. I am pretty sure it is deodexed since I've searched for .odex files with Astro and didn't find anything (I did find .dex file though). I hope this is correct!
I would like to install a theme like the MIUI ones (I was using Galnet before and loved it)
Is that possible without changing my ROM?. Can anyone recommend a good clean theme (iphone looking)?

Don't think so, but check in the themes thread. You could try a launcher with an iphone/Miui theme.

i am trying to renovate my rom with new look.
and have tried every apktool and every guide but nothing worked for me
well i guess i need an person who can theme my rom i can provide icon
and other stuff .(last 2 week i am doing compiling themeing compiling but i think i am not the guy for themeing )
i am trying to updating rom to 4.0.4 and want to give users a new look on rom
