Hi!
When I plug my headset to my Optimus 7 and play music on very low volume (0-5), I am experiencing a low noise similar to the noise one can experience when they use in-ear headphones on a laptop with poor soundcard.
This was not the case with my previous HTC Desire or iPhone. Is it just my phone or is anyone else hearing the same thing?

Hi all,
No matter what player I use, or even the bitrate or format of my music, my Barry Manilow collection has this horrible and really annoying high-pitched background noise through BT headphones. Is anyone else experiencing this issue? Does anyone know of a fix?
Thanks!
is the volume for all these phone just to low when using headphone?
i use monster turbine and even at max volume listing to zune player on this phone its just to low i want the volume to be way louder
anyone else have this issue?
im coming from iPhone 4 and thats the only good thing ill give that apple does is there headphone volume output is loud as hell i just hope this phone can do the same with maybe a software update -_-
I haven't used any other headphones besides the set that came with the phone and those were plenty loud.
I've tried several different headsets to get desired results, it's weird but some headsets don't have the same performance as on the iphone.
I get a hissing noise whether on headphones or on the hero's speaker when playing any audio. It starts just before the audio/music starts and continues for about 4/5 seconds after the audio/music is stopped.
I was using froydvillian 1.7.2 and now cronos 0.0.9, I think the hissing noise was worse on froydvillain.
Is this related to the rom? or does the hero just have a really ****ty dac?
If you want to try and replicate this, put on headphones, play some music and press pause and you should be able to hear the 4/5 second hiss
Does anyone else have the same problem?
I get this - not sure if it's the phone on the way out :,)
I have a Nexus 4 and I don't have a matching headset. I did not buy the Google Play Store headset because I do not like plugin earphones. I tried the headset that comes with iPhone 4S and it works, however during calls the mic volume is very low, while the earphone volume is just unbearably loud. Can anyone tell me how to solve this problem?
I assume this has something to do with impedance. Again, however, I cannot find this key information in Nexus 4's specification or the Google Play Store headset's. This can also be compatibility or software issue. But I read somewhere on the internet that unfortunately the mic volume and the earphone volume are not separately adjustable on Nexus 4. If that's not the case, please give me a guide as to how to do it. I am running factory 4.4 rom, rooted and GravityBox installed. If it has something to do with compatibility and/or impedance, please recommend a model (with mic) that works best with Nexus 4 which is not plugin when it comes to earphones. In terms of sound quality, I am not picky. To me, the iPhone headset isn't bad in sound quality. And I'd be totally satisfied if the sound quality is at the same level or close to a Sennheiser MX500.
Thanks!
Hi everyone,
I have been experiencing a lot of crackling when on phonecalls, it turns into a high pitched kind of screeching sound. When I use my headset I experience the same issue. It is possible to hear this when playing videos as well.
I haven't done much testing with the loud speaker, but haven't noticed it then.
I'm wondering if anyone has experienced a similar problem.
Am I dealing with a faulty front speaker unit? Does that even have any affect on the headset jack?
Or am I dealing with some kind of faulty soundchip ?
Any possible solutions?
Thank you.
