Where can I get the dsp manager app? Can it run on virtuous unity rom?

That's outdated now, use equalizer from market or the srs already in the HTC music app...Ginger has native ability to tune sound so dsp is no longer needed, since it was root only... the equalizer is for everyone root or not and has more options now.

Hello,
Does anyone know if the audio booster or an equalizer is available for the desire? I had a quick look on the app store and found one but is was quite expensive witness mixed reviews.
thank you for your time

yes please. only one paid app that's overpriced and buggy. something that does EQ as a plugin to Desire's stock music app would be great...

I have a feeling this will be added in FroYo as it's been requested by a lot of people. Best bet is to wait until may 19th and see what 2.2 is like.
That said, I don't want any Equalizer on my phone. Equalizers muddy music and they add distortion.
Has anyone found an EQ app that works with pandora?. Running stock mt4g btw.....

MixZing Media Player may not work with Pandora (should still give it a try), but one of the best Equalizer apps and music players for stock.

DSP Manager works fine with Pandora for me.
HTC Glacier CM7 #something
I did like the DSP manager in CM6 roms for the G1. Can this APK be installed successfully on a non-rooted MT4G using visionary temproot? If so, can someone please upload the latest build of dsp manager?
Is there a way to increase volume on the droid x? I have it up to the max.
I'm using liquidsense 3.2.

I've been looking for this answer for a while now. Best option: DSP Manager.
Thanks

DSP manager is great
also winamp pro has a built in equalizer that will allow you to boost overall volume of the music you listen to.
There are kernel mods you can use for this, but I've found them to distort the sound at high volumes. The only reason you'd want this is to play sound at higher volumes, so it seems like it's counter productive
Currently i have been using just DSP manager and poweramp. My previous setup was Viperaudio and poweramp and that was a great but i often foudn the audio glitchy at times and Viper was taking up too many cpu cycles asswell so had to ditch that. Curious as to what setup u guys are running
noozxoide works best for me with noozy

Voodoo sound and Poweramp makes for a epic audio experience
Voodoo sound paired with n7player is my go too nowadays. Newest 2.0 version is glitchy but thankfully you can get the older version on play store as well that's flawless on this old phone

DSP
I was just curious, I am already using the DSP manager's w8994 tab to modify the wolfson DAC setting, will switch to Voodoo sound change much for the sound quality or it is the same thing as using the DSP manager's w8994 tab? Thanks!

I know I'll get killed for asking this, but what do you think odds are to port the beats audio option of the htc one google edition to our nexus 4's? It seems possible in theory if google edition is based off stock. I want to see if it even makes a difference.
I think the beats audio feature uses some sort of drivers that the Nexus 4 won't be able do.

Thats what I thought. I wanted to see what the big deal was with beats.
The beata audio are sw AND hw feature, but software Beats doesn't need a hardware Beats to run, it just wouldn't give the same results as with matching hardware. Beats can be ported, but wouldn't be as "good" as on HTC One

I think this is the general idea. Try downloading DSPmanager, I think one of the presets is something that imitates the Beats Audio enhancement on HTC devices.

Yeah I guess it must depend a lot on what type of music you listen to and stuff, I personally am happy with sound quality as it is on my phone right now so I haven't bothered installing anything to mess with it.
How do you properly set DSP manager?
