[Q] Other way for an ad hoc connection on HC 3.2?

Hi all,
is there any solution for a non-rootet Iconia A500 to get an ad-hoc connection to my Nokia N8. Unfortunaly I made an update to the new HC 3.2 and lost the possibility to tether via my phone. That`s for me the only missing thing at the new ROM and i don`t want to flash my tab for this.

This would be grand, ad-hoc is one of the few reason I have my tab rooted, and I'm perfectly fine with what stock HC has to offer. If only it would support ad-hoc from the box... (or better yet, support root from the box...)

There.is a new PDA.net on the market I think it might help you if yountry post your results here please.

thanks for answering my question. The PDA.net seems very interesting but unfortunatly i own a nokia n8 with symbian os so it will not work. But you idea
will be helpful for other user using a mobile device with a other os.

I did post this on the other thread you posted Erica Renee but I will say it again I can confirm the PDA net tablet version does work. I am on it now. My droid charge is rooted 2.3.4 and my tab is stock hc 3.2. I updated it yesterday when I got it out of the box. Took like 2 or 3 updates. But I am in Montgomery Alabama to. I am a trucker, in 4g on my tab right now. Just had to configure proxy settings, pair Bluetooth n away I go, woot

3g only working when wifi is enabled, Galaxy tab 10.1 (p7500), CM10

Hi.
I have a problem with my 3g, im on Pershoots CM10 (jelly bean) build from 20120816 (droidbasement.com), and my tab is a gt-p7500.
Everything works great, except the 3g connection.
The 3g connection is working when, and only when the wifi is enabled and connected to a wireless network, then the 3g icon shows as connected as well.
It does not seam that many people have this problem, some have the same problem on the cm9 and cm7 build, on other devices, but in the threads there is only fixes but not descriptions, and i cannot reply, since they are all developer threads, and i havent posted enough to be allowed to reply
In the apn inmy settings, it seams that it is connected as it should be (data.3.dk), which is the same as on my cellphone (i have a shared subscription with 3 sim cards.). I have tried many of pershoots other builds, so it is something that goes again, and in the thread (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1787399) nobody has the same problem as me ( i have looked though some 200 pages, and i got a mayor headache, so i stoppet).
Anyways, i hope somebody has a fix.
Please, if there is some info missing, just tell me, ill post it asap.

I got this problem as well. Its very weird. I got the cm10 2.6.36.4 pershot version.

Problem information
I recently went on holiday to Spain and Morocco, and the internet seemed to work fine there..
I have tried copying the info from my android 3.2 apn, to the new but to no luck.
Seams weird that it worked in spain and morocco, but not in denmark, even when i copied the APN.
Any help would be much appreciated.

MOD to make calls from Tab P7300 and P7500

Hello, Good news, but still has, in my view, debug and tune something.
browsing the forums (for me the most interesting) I found this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1875024 information possibilities make calls from the P7500.
Since I have installed this ROM tab, moved to my P7300, 1st I thought, I have 4.0.4, 2nd, what can go wrong is the Modem that is version LQ3 LQ8 and mine is there and I thought we were flasee giving the following result:
You can make calls, but ..... I ran out of Wifi or Bluethoot, but what is said so you can make calls. With this, it is shown that fixed Tab P7300 hardware is enabled to make and receive calls (I was so glad I did not look if received ALSO).
Now I'm just the file to flash Enable Voice Call [Stock] ICS ROM 4.0.4 Build 1.zip because I guess the modem I have of the LQ8 can serve, and that's it.
Although I have not because I went flaseado notice of "batria low" when I will charge enough.
Proven, without putting the CWM_i9103XXLQ3_Modem.zip and only getting Enable Voice Call [Stock] ICS ROM 4.0.4 Build 1.zip, I have: incoming calls, outgoing calls and the wireless works perfectly and Bluetooth.
We will comment if the little one suffers or become angry, not currently brickeo

After updating the ROM, wifi is grey！

My samsung s4 bluetooth and wifi are grey，Unable to open. It is possible that ROM。Update the ROM came after the problem. Is there a way to solve。

But i didnt get wifi on green, and bluetooth... Do anybody
have an idea to solve this problem ,is it making this problem the hardware of software

This is the subforum for the Galaxy S4 Active, not the Galaxy S4. If you have a GS4A then you'll need to be more specific about the ROM/issue/problem, with more details.

And if you're making the mistake of installing - or even trying to install Galaxy S4 ROMs on the Galaxy S4 Active, you're gonna have a lot more to worry about than not being able to turn on the Wi-Fi or Bluetooth.
