i have a strange problem!
when i connect my phone to my laptop,it just do charging,,and m unable to use usbstorage,,kies,,or music option in usb settings...please help

If u have a home replacement app (ADW, Launcher Pro, etc), get the app "home switcher"from the Market and temporarily switch over to the TouchWiz launcher, before plugging in ur USB. Switch back after u've used Kies.
For USB mass storage mode, u can use USB DEBUGGING mode, when u plug in ur device and choose the required option from the notification panel.

Check USB settings in wireless and network
If this fails, provide details of firmware and change you have made

Tried dem but dey are for reverse usb rethering..i wanted to know how to connect via wifi...like create a hotspot from laptop and connent ti phone...i created an adhoc to share net but it is not get gettin detected by phone..

Just follow what d3cka said..I also used this method. it is easy and it works well..
Yup push wpa_supplicant in system/bin set permission check all box then reboot ur phone

Yesterday,while i was trying to connect my tab with my pc nothing happened.My tab shows nothing on the notification bar and the battery indicator showing that it is charging and nothing happens to my pc either.

Buddy it happens when you don't plug in your tab at once.
To resolve problem restart the tab and put the usb into the port at once.

A simple fix that could work. Look in the device manager under USB and see if any "unknown device" shows up. If so, uninstall it, ok out and shutdown the PC. Unplug the PC from the power for a minute and then start back up. Try connecting it to the PC again. Even after you shutdown, the PC keeps a trickle going to the ports.
Buy a new lead , very cheap on place like Amazon. See If that works since Its not working on 2 PCs. Its either the lead or your Tablet
If its not the lead reflash your ROM.If that wont work you have a dodgy USB connector and it needs repairing.

Someone please help me..
Since i bought GS4, my pc cannot detect it in any mode.
I am running XP currently.
But the phone is getting detected in my friend's Windows 7 laptop.
I have even installed kies, running service pack 3,but nothing helps.
Please help me out.

Mine sometimes does this. Have you tried different USB ports and different USB cables. I found that rebooting the phone helps, refreshing "my computer screen" and also just waiting for the drivers to install

Try to reinstall and update ur drivers: CLICK HERE
So my s4 screen went out I'm not rooted nor do I have USB debugging enabled and I have pattern lock. So when plug up to computer it won't let me access my files. What I need is my pictures some s notes and a bunch of my text messages off the phone. So how can I get these items or how to do a whole system dump so I can go through and get what I need? I also have access to a z3x pro easy JTAG box if that will help please I help I really need this data. Thanks in advance
