I like the stock launcher actually for the NC because I do use it primarily as a reader but I like having access to books and apps, is there anyway to get sideloaded app icons on the stock homescreen?

So im using MIUI 1.4.22r1 and I try to customize my home screen and when I try to remove them from the desktop it tells me that it cant be removed? anyone else have this problem? is there is something im missing here?
Is it apps you are trying to remove from the home screens or widgets?
The miui rom doesn't have an app drawer so all the apps collect on the desktop and when you remove the app from the desktop you uninstall it.
If you don't want the apps on the home screen then just create a folder and put the apps in there to reduce clutter or you can use an alternative launcher like adw to get back the app drawer.
i have been using go launcher ex and as i like the multiple screen layout quit a lot, but i can seem to access my books in the apps menu. they're all there if i go into the regular launcher, but i would prefer to use go launcher exclusively.
is there a simple way to access my library?
thank you for any feedback.
Nope, shortcut to amazon launcher and then access your books.
thank you most kindly.
Hello.
I have Nexus 7 with Android 4.1.2. How to change icon (applications) order in Applications tab? If I hold the icon I can only drop in into desktop or uninstall but I can't move it in another place.
Best regards
Some non-stock launchers have options for the App drawer. You might check out Nova, Apex, Go, Trebuchet, etc. in Play Store or their individual websites. I don't know one specifically that offers what you want, but it wouldn't hurt to check them out. Is it really a problem to find an app sorted alphabetically in the App drawer.
Stock launcher doesn't let you do it. You could try something like Nova Launcher Prime. That allows allows you to hide the ones you don't want to see.
can someone lead me in the right direction for removing the app labels from the touchwiz launcher?! ... thanks
You can use Desktop Visualizer, free app in Google Play. Then you have the choice to put any icon (includin stock) for each app and also personalize the labels or even remove them. No root needed.
I want to put Folders on the App page (NOT the Home page). I used this on my Samsung to better organize my apps. Is there any way to do this on the PH-1?
Thanks!
I don't know if it's possible with the stock launcher, but it can be done with a custom one, like Nova Launcher.
