Yes, just flash the stock backup you made before you installed the touchwiz update.

**Sigh**
Searching is helpful man, really. There was a thread about this yesterday. Use the program at this link: One Click Root And Recovery
One of its options is a root uninstaller. But FYI as long as you don't install custom roms or delete stock apps you can be rooted and get OTA updates. Again, this is all information you can get using the search function so please, in the future search first.
EDIT: Removed. Duplicate of what kenvan19 said...
But taking a second look at your sig, you may need to flash a stock rom/kernel first, but it may be easier to just use Odin to fully return to a stock phone removing all changes.

RootUninstaller is Old. Needs updating.
I encounter some problems using the link kevin gave with the root uninstaller. Attempts failed. I am on EC05 trying to uninstall the root and cwm using old DI18 rootuninstaller.
Any one know if there is an updated version?
just ODIN stock ec05. Or ODIN stock di18 then do update to ec05.
Here is an article with rooting and unrooting instructions and links to all drivers and programs needed:

Thanks for the link.

If you have a rooted stock kernel and ROM it will. But if you have a custom ROM and kernel you need to Odin back. Mybackup Pro will allow you to backup and restore unrooted.

Alternatively, check out http://lostandtired.com and go to android development, he has a link to a stock odin flash on multiupload. While you're there, read some about autism awareness, as it is autism awareness month.

Nope, has anyone tried unrooting? The unroot method does not want to work on EC05. It goes through the process and on everything its says failed! rm /**** no permissions. Also ran CWM to fix permissions..
I still can't find a solution. Stock EC05 that is rooted to 2.5.1.0 using one click root.
Any other tips?

Just run ODIN and flash a clean stock build of DI18 then OTA over it to EC05.

MyBackup Pro wont restore app data without root. I haven't found anything that will. Has it done it for you? The website says if rooted it will restore app+data. I really just need data.
Has anyone tried this on MyBackup Pro?

I would probably root first. There is always a chance that the new updates will block root and it will take a long time to root again.
If you want the OTA you'll need to have a stock recovery and not be rooted.
If you don't care about the OTA and would rather flash something from one of the devs then go ahead and install CWM and root.
It's easy enough to go back to stock and all the tools and files you need are available in the dev forum.

Doubt it. There still isnt a complete guide to rooting/restoring the galaxy tab 10.1. The dev forum just has crude bits and pieces of the process layed out in a sloppy manner.

Oh hi troll.
Here is a quick guide for the OP:
CWM + Stock recovery images here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1150732
Root here: http://droidbasement.com/galaxy/tools/su_busybox_misc-sam_tab_10.1-061611.zip
HC 3.1 OTA here: http://droidbasement.com/galaxy/sys-backup/hc_31/hc-3.1_ota-full_sam_tab_10.1.zip
To install a 3rd party rom flash CWM via Odin then flash the rom of your choice (all of them are pre-rooted except for the a couple of the older euro TW leaks).
To return to stock, flash the 3.1 OTA via CWM, then use Odin to flash the stock recovery.
Done.

Hi guys this is the first time i have rooted and flashed a device. I managed rooting my N7 and flashing PA Rom and Motley kernel. Now I want to flash back to stock rom and update to 4.1.2 via OTA or directly flash the official 4.1.2 pure stock. However I still want to maintain root and CWM. Is this possible? Can someone please help me out with details as kind of a noob. I even want to understand how Titanium Backup works. If i backup my apps and then do a factory reset while flashing a new rom how does the backup remain if everything is lost in factory reset. Thanks a lot for helping.

Do it manually like I did, its just as quick as the OTA, you keep all your files and I didn't loose root, was done in 5 mins.

The update can only be applied to a completely stock rom, if you have made any changes to the rom(build.prop edits, etc) the zip will fail to flash

You need a stock RUU, but I'm not sure where to find those. Once you have the stock RUU, adb push the update and your all strawberries and cream
The update will fail if build.prop is modifed and most custom roms modify that. So it would be safer to flash stock image and sideload the update.
Or else wait for the custom ROM developer to incorporate those changes.

Odin.
It will let you flash back to the stock ROM. If you are on the 4.4 bootloader though you can only go back so far. You can't go back to 4.2. I'm not sure about 4.3.
You can also restore the Nandroid backup of your stock rom that you should have made before you flashed CyanogenMod

You need to use the search feature here on xda. This is probably the single most covered topic in Samsung forums. There are dozens of very detailed guides on odin and how to use it.
There is even one stickied to the help posts at the top of this forum.
