Guys just checked PTCRB and there is a new software for X10 on 5th August 2011
3.0.1.G.0.75
http://www.ptcrb.com/ctiastaff/complete/view_complete_request.cfm?modelid=16755
Please forgive my excitement , I just saw the 5th August registered firmware and copied the stuff here, didnt noticed we already have that
That's odd because 3.0.1.G.0.75 was the firmware that was released last week.
yeah thats strange...never saw them releasing anything before registering there for any product!!
wondering who has 3.0.1.G.0.70

they did for the 2.1 release too.....
the .70 didn't happen because of a camera fault apparently, that is why the new release came.
Is strange as I already have 3.0.1.G.0.75 installed on my phone whereas the PTCRB shows the date of today while the older one released is shown to be 3.0.1.G.0.70

Hello,
I am just a bit curious. Most of the discussion around here did not mention about Three (3) network at all.
I am really tired on waiting for my Galaxy s update from Three...
If any news or information on Three (3) Froyo update, maybe we can discuss here or update here....
All of your help or news is really appreciated....
My phone details:-
GT-I1900HKAH3G
still in JG3 version
Changed Product Code
I originally had:
GT-I9000HKDH3G - (Three UK)
JF3
Updated it to:
GT-I9000HKDXEU - (Unbranded Europe/UK?)
JPO
Using the kies method ... I think to do it now you need to downgrade kies and then trick it into thinking it's already updated by editing the version string in the registry
I think he is looking for the official release through Kies. I would think by the end of November my friend. All networks have pretty much indicated this as has Samsung to a degree.
OPTUS I think from memory is supposed to be today.
How come you have JF3?
I am also from Three (3) UK, but I have JG1 and JG3...
I am trying to find out the information on the official update from KIES. I don`t want to root or trick the KIES to get an update yet...
I also heard the official FROYO update for Three (3) UK will be end of November, same as O2. But, O2 will give the update of Froyo earlier than expected. That is why tring to get some information.
Hope to hear from somebody about it...

There was a thread posted last week about froyo for Three handsets, but I believe that was referring to the general froyo release

couple folk in the thread you mentioned claim three has released froyo update but if you look on there site its definatly not available just yet. http://www.three.co.uk/Help_Support...SoftwareUpdate_show&content_aid=1220461902599
According to the the official Three Galaxy S blog http://blog.three.co.uk/2010/07/28/video-samsung-galaxy-s-on-three/ the update has been approved by them and they are waiting for Samsung to roll it out - they are unable to say when that will be.
Just keep checking I suppose.

Korea's biggest mobile operator, SK Telecom is testing the official gingerbread update now. They plan to release it in April, but Korean sources predict the update will be released in Europe first, some time this month.

JV1 is very much beta. I can imagine that they are testing a better polished more stable version.

A LEAKED beta at that. It is nice that it gives the Devs here something to look over and start to play with...but I will wait until the official ROM from Samsung gets released and then fixed up by XDA Devs before leaving the Froyo-boat.

Dude, I know JV1 has been leaked. What I wrote is that SK Telecom is testing the official rom, which is soon to be released. There has been confusion on the release date for the European update, but according to some reliable Korean sources, it will be released this month
i also heard europe will get update in march/april
I read that Germany and Italy will get the offical Gingerbread Rom through KIES first at the end of March or begin of April.

HW Version SW Version Request Type Date Certified
A 4.0.A.2.377 ECO Sep 2, 2011
we all know that it usually takes a few weeks to get released + all those firmware release never get to public but just some.
Version 146 is available here in Slovenia - phone from Germany.
I tried to update but there was some error, so i'll try later again.
I can confirm version 146 being available for Germany phones. Didn't try to install it yet though.
They've also added 3.0.1.A.0.149
Well, just tried to install 146 and failed with something like "Unable to install or start phone software update components"...

Very strange. I check again today and they have removed 149 there.
what are the improvements ? 3.0.1.A.0.145 vs 3.0.1.A.0.146? both are 2.3.3 ?
A 3.0.1.A.0.150 ECO Jun 30, 2011
I've got the A 3.0.1.A.0.146 on my German unbranded Arc since yesterday.
A friend of mine claims that according to SE support the changes are:
- improved video and foto quality
- some smaller bug fixed
- improved wifi connection stability
- improved battery life a bit
However, the update wipes all you data and resets the phone... quite funny for such a small update when the last massive one just worked on the fly.
I haven't noticed anything upon now, but I never had problems with my wifi and obviously I can't judge the battery life up to now.
What about your root status?
How come only germany got this .146 version and other regions are left behind? Is it only country-specific update?
Sent from my Sony Arc thru XDA app
@Rycon33, they must be slowly rolling out the updates. Just wait a while.
It's just strange coz when they rolledout .145 the timing difference on each region is only by days. And this .146 has been in germany since late-june I think so I thought it could only be country-specific update. The wifi issue is just so annoying that I'm looking badly for an update that fixes it.

Sorry, I didn't have root before. (I wanted to but was pretty lazy about it ^^)
However, I don't think there's a chance that root stays. It's a total wipe out of the current software and it wasn't available OTA.
Something I've noticed: sudden reboots are back... not liking this. -_-
I also think it's strange Germany got it first... they were quite late on the last update. Also strange that there aren't any official news from SE on it. :/

Hey, does the android update of the same brand (such as HTC, SE, LG etc.) and same model (such as Xperia PLAY, ARC, NEO etc.) vary from country to country?
What does it vary in?
And how do I know which version I am updating to?
I mean I bought this phone from Middle East, but right now I am in Pakistan (where the phone hasn't even launched probably). If I update using the PC suite or directly from the Market, which version would I be installing; the Middle Eastern or the Asian?
I am confused because of Android, please help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
u need to find what phone u got R800i/x i am assuming u got R800i .. if so u can install the Nordic FW 2.3.4
well people SE just confirmed they'll be working on ICS very soon, so this thread might be worth closing..
