Root again?
You could try rooting your phone again or put it in fastboot then flash it?

Flash this in recovery. Should fix any issues. If you can't transfer it over to device, just download it using your phone. The finished download will be in /sdcard/download/
Also, for driver issues, download the LG Mobile Update Tool and re-install the drivers using that.

[Q] Step 2 problems

hey,
When i'm in bootloader or Recovery and i type ADB Devices it cant find any.
So when i try and run step 2 it says:
Error: No Device detected.
And help please?
You really don't need step 2.. Just download the clockworkmod recovery.. (update.zip) and place it in the root of the sd-card.. along with the rooted rom you want to use.. reboot to recovery apply update.zip and install the rooted rom.. that should do the trick..

[GUIDE] Install CWM and ROOT without computer

I managed to root and install CWM without using a computer, here's how I did it... I was on gingerbread 2.3.6 so I installed Framaroot v1.5.2 to get root as Mobile ODIN needs root and won't work without it. link here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2130276 then I installed Mobile ODIN (free in market) and the Mobile ODIN flash kernal here http://bit.ly/17kEetk next I download CF-Root here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=788108 unzipped CF-Root and placed it in Mobile ODIN, when you open mobile ODIN it'll say you need to download extra data, but it's only if you're flashing firmware, you don't need to download the extra data just for flashing kernels so ignore it... flash it and Mobile ODIN will install CF-Root then it'll auto reboot... once rebooted, go into recovery mod and you should now have CWM as well as Root access.
Really cool !
I just uninstalled Feacore CWM and updated CWM to its latest version using the Recovery zip ... but I already had CWM installed.
It's good to know that we can do this for the first time, without the use of a computer.
Thank you !

hello sir if u dont mind I need a little bit of help. I am just a beganer I tried to root my phone without using pc through "z for root"app. But the process didnt compleate and app crashed & my fone got freezed(highly sluggish). Then I tried to factory reset, but I was unable to do so . After multiple attempts I succeded through recovery mode. After that I cheked my fone through titanium backup, it told that it doesnt have root access. So I searched xda and installed the app framaroot, and did the temporary root and installed super user through the same app. But after all that when I opened titanium backup. It was was unable to proceed further. Just showing "gaining root access" . So I thought something went wrong in my procees. so I decided to uninstall that superuser app, but there is nowhere option to uninstall that app. And now sometimes my fone gets sluggish & when I check program moniter . That superuser app is on. SO I WANT TO UNINSTALL SUPERUSER APP AND BRING MY PHONE TO ORIGINAL CONDITION(UNROOT/VALID WARANTY). THANKING U VERY MUCH SIR. EAGERLY WAITING FOR UR RESPONCE

A few things first
-Z4Root is outdated and only worked on 2.1
-Temporary root only gies you root access for a certain period of time and as the name suggests it is not a full root solution. This also means that even if you install Superuser it probably won't work properly. Framaroot should alow you to fully root (Aragorn exploit I think?)
To restore the phone to its complete original state just flash a stock rom over what you already have and it should get rid of Superuser

I need a simple guide to root install recovery clockwork and custom rom please

Can someone point me to a simple guide please text or YouTube
I have latest version of Android on tf300 and I have unlocked the device using apk file
Thanks

Not a guide, but two simple steps would be to:
1) Root your tab, if you are not already rooted. Motochopper works for this. Plenty of info on motochopper on this forum.
2) Easy way to install CWM (although I prefer TWRP) is to download the app Goomanager. From there you can download CWM and install it. You will probably need busybox installed also, which you can download from the play store and install yourself. If you prefer TWRP an easy way to install that is to download the app System Tuner. Google how to install TWRP via Terminal Emulator. There are guides on how to do this. Pretty easy. I don't have handy links but google is your friend.
3) Alternatives are to use ADB to install/flash CWM or TWRP. If you used motochopper you should know how to use ADB. I couldn't get TWRP to work via ADB for some reason on this particular tf300, so I installed TWRP via Terminal Emulator (using the terminal emulator that the app System Tuner comes with). That worked, and was fairly easy and straightforward.
Good luck.
i never get a USB icon (as your instructions state). The only icons I see are RCK, Android and Wipe Data.
i have tried motochoper but it doesnt seem to work although it says it exists.. when i ran it multiple times. i downloaded rootchecker and it says its not rooted.

[Q] There is no SU binary installed... Even after flashing original stock rom

Hi there,
I rooted my G2 before in 4.4 Kitkat, then I have updated it to 4.4.2 without a problem. Then I used an application that gives you option to turn off camera sound(because I use F320L, it is a Korean version of G2 where camera sound cannot be turned off).
After using the patch(which didnt work) when I run SuperSU application, it gave me error saying "There is no SU binary installed.."(screenshot attached). So I found a way to flash back to stock rom and I have successfully flashed V11G(4.2.2 JB). Then I have rooted my phone on kitkat(4.4) but the binary error is still showing up.
Is there any way to fix this? I am new to android and in desperated need of help!
Thanks

Try this zip in recovery.
http://download.chainfire.eu/382/SuperSU/UPDATE-SuperSU-v1.93.zip
4.4 ROMs haven't had root installed on many of them.
If that doesn't work. You may have to reroot.
Can you please explain me how to do so in detail?(or link me related articles pls) I am a newbie to android!

Sure... Sorry it tooks so long to answer.
The newer builds are being built with superuser (for the most part)
If you are rooted with a recovery simply download the zip in the previous post.
Install the zip in recovery and that will install superuser to your system.
Reboot open the app and update the binaries.
If you need to install a recovery you're going to have some different issues.

[q] help please

Well this is embarrassing to say what I actually did to my phone but I desperately need help to fix it (if it is possible).
My device is D802.
I wanted to try some custom rom so I installed TWRP 2.6.3.2.
I have downloaded a rom and gapps and then I saw that it is desirable to wipe everything, and I mistakenly wiped even data on internal storage which left me without rom to flash.
I can enter recovery and download mode, but it can't seem to start that offline flash tutorial I found on this forum.
I am on Windows 8.1 and tried to install drivers. I did not get any errors during that but adb do not see my phone. when in recovery. PLEASE I am desperate, someone help me! (maybe I just said the stupid thing but I am not that good in all of this).

Anyone? At least point me in right direction?
I've never did this but heard its happened many times before ... Adb or sideload/push the rom into your internal sdcard to flash it and all should be good!!! Just google how to a d should bring up a you need

Thank you My problem was that adb did not "see" the phone. I had to manually install the driver. Once I got that working I managed to install a custom 4.2.2 RM. Do you have any idea why I coud not install 4.4 rom (I get error no matter what version I choose).
But seriously thank you very much for the efort of replaying and pointing me to the right direction.
You need a newer version of your recovery to install kitkat roms
