[Q] Bluetooth HID support Android - Xperia Arc General

Hey,
Does anyone know how to get a bluetooth keyboard (microsoft wireless entertainment 7000) to work with SE Arc? Woud be great to hook phone up to TV and use that to browse web......Also pairing a mouse would be pretty handy feature?
I've researched it, and apparently Androind 2.3 does have a HID implementation but its not simply a case of activating in the UI?
Cheers!

I'm sure it's possible - it's all pretty standard these days. Of course you would need the right dlls, but then again, the bluetooth fold up keyboard from stowaway (I still have one) didn't need dlls @ all - PNP it was!
Have you tried connecting a HW keyboard?
(p.s. think there was some discussion in Rapheal/Kaiser on this btw)
Have any1 tried it with a PS3?
Would love to have this too! Paid an arm and a leg for the phone, would be glad if it can help me not buy another computer hardware around the house!
I search a lot, but don't find anything.
It should use HID protocol for work, but it doesn't seems exist anything...
However as default don't work with ps3 or pc.
Would be nice I would certainly use it cause I need this actually on my ps3

Hi all
Well I know this is a bit of an odd one but thought would be very cool if anyone had any idea how to do this
I've got an old fully functional k-jam in the cupboard and was thinking of buying a Logitech Dinovo mini Bluetooth keyboard for my Playstation 3, when I thought to myself hey the K-jam has a mini keyboard and bluetooth couldnt these somehow be reprogrammed so that the keyboard output could be output via bluetooth to be used by the PS3.
Would be brilliant if anyone has any ideas
This would be pretty damn cool

Got this working upgrade my ROM to the CR86 Touch HD2.1 ROM installed Mobile remote and it works perfectly as a bluetooth keyboard on my PC, Netbook, and PS3. £99 save on the Logitech Dinovo.
It's good to hear that man

[DEV Q] Add Bluetooth HID profile in Android

Love to hear any opinions on this.

Tek Soft has an app called BlueInput for android but I don't think it works so well.

I think a mouse/keyboard/gamepad would be great with Bluetooth HID.
Especially with people playing in Ubuntu and trying to get the TV Out to work for Epic 4.

[Q] Using TP2 keyboard as a bluetooth wireless keyboard?

Good day to u all
Was wondering if anyone knows of an app that lets us connect our TP2 by bluetooth to other devices and use it as a wireless keyboard? Like for example to a Playstation 3?
Thanks in advance

Try BlueInput for Broadcom. It's pricey, but I believe it'll work.

[Q] How to enable Bluetooth DUN / PAN for Trophy

Hi all,
Recently got my company car, a Prius, with the Toyota Touch pro nav system in it. This requires Bluetooth DUN support so I will get updates and search, etc.
Unfortunately, I understand from the specs of my HTC Trophy the DUN profile is not supported. My carrier does support Internet tethering, but that is only offered on my phone via WIFI. I would not mind to install a custom ROM or some additional drivers/apps to enable this. Any suggestions or other people with this problem?
And yes, I know, Bluetooth DUN is quite old, but unfortunately, it seems the car industry lags far behind the technological evolution if it comes to there nav systems. I mean; why not just add an iPad dock ?
Thanks all; great site this!
