Quick question... Does the X1 come with a YouTube app out of the box? I have seen people posting work around app's but to think that this MEGA PDA Phone dones NOT have a built in youtube app is crazy!
the xperia comes with youtube support u just go to the website and u can watch all videos in their mobile page, but if u want to see the real youtube homepage you have to fix the workaround
ahh, Ok, so there is no youtube app like the one with the touch pro..? Or better yet, if there is not, can you download the youtube app from the diamond/touch pro. I thought I did see that app on other phones extracted and put into CAB form.

Xperia doesn't have Flash Lite installed. But you can get Flash Lite from xda-developers, works well for me. Only on Opera though.
Another solution is to get Coreplayer, a must have if you want to watch xvid or divx videos + the music player is MUCH better than the one on Xperia. Coreplayer comes with a Youtube icon, you just click on it and you can watch videos from Youtube, works great.
Which version of coreplayer has a youtube icon? Thanks for the info.

Think he's in the wrong forum.
Windows, and Windows Mobile (X1) does have Media Player, but X10's don't.
And all X10's plays h.264 out-of-the-box.

I doubt it, since X10's don't have Media Player.
We have Media Scape.
And since he's made post in the Windows Mobile Section on this site before, i highly doubt that he is in the right forum, and is actually on an X1 device.
Lol ok gotcha

Just as the title says, I"m looking for a good video player that can play ".flv" files among other formats.
I used to play this files with vplayer but this "will be free forever" player is now costing money.
I would love to hear your suggestions!
Thanks ahead!

Hey guys
I recently updated my HD2 to android 4 and now I can't watch any videos online. I can watch Youtube videos and Dailymotion videos but most of the other sites don't work. I used my HD2 a lot to watch TV shows on streaming sites and it always worked. I currently use Paranoid Android.
Do you guys know a ROM that supports online videos?

There is not any specific rom which will be able to support videos online. The most handy is Gingerbread, after that any ICS or JB. The problem is Flash Player. Flash Player only is supported by Gingerbread and for Android 4.xx currently Flash Player is not available, but you can find some compatible version here on XDA.
Even if you find Flash Player for Android 4 you will have problem to watch video in streaming without any third application, like Youtube app for ICS. Gingerbread actually can play most of the vids on internet, with ICS or JB you have to have a third app which will allow you to do so. Probably some app where you can copy and paste a link for streaming vids to watch.
Do you have any app that can do that? I tried Vplayer and it didn't work and there is currently no other App I know. I usually watch videos on sites like putlocker, they have movies and other shows.

Wrong, ICS still supports Flash, only on 4.1 it's buggy. I watched Flash videos normally on Tytung's NexusHD2 ICS.

Try Airvidplay app. How it works: you go to website with movies, click play for sec, then go to share website and in sharing list select Airvidplay. In Airvid you'll have your movie ready to watch or download.
https://www.xda-developers.com/android/show-embedded-video-whos-boss-with-airvidplay/
P.s. It supports around 10 most popular video streaming sites.
