And if you save that string value as telephone number for contact aaa you can enter test mode in 3 touches, open phonebook > hold aaa > select edit number before call.
Here is a couple of screen shots that show you some information on your device.

Yeah, if you look at the second post I already admitted that. Read before you Post.
Heres the Code to Unlock the Menu :
In the Lock Screen ( the one with the Swype animation! ) Press the buttons below, simultaneously and in succession,
Menu, Back, Back, Menu, Back, Menu, Menu, Back
Code:
- How to Lock my SMS Messages on Xperia X10?
Android does not provide locking of single apps and hence your privacy is not full-proof! But the android developers came up with a cool Application Locking App in Android. It provides Complete Privacy with your SMS Messages, Emails, Google Talk, etc.
The application is “ Protector “! Find a complete Review and Details about it here. I shot a video with the app as well, don’t forget to check out the video to get an idea of how it works on the Xperia X10.
- How to BackUP “Everything” on your Xperia X10?
Before you upgrade your Xperia X10 to the Latest firmware, you would like to take a backup of all your data, sms, apps, etc on your Xperia X10. To Get the best Backing Up Solution for your Xperia X10, check the Review of best BackUp Apps for your Xperia X10.
- How to get Smart Dialing in Xperia X10?
We, all know that the Smart Dialing feature is missing from the Xperia X10. And it’s really important feature to many of out there. So, to find the Best Smart Dialing Apps for Xperia X10, check here.
- How to Take Screenshots from your Xperia X10?
Taking screenshots on Xperia X10 doesn’t need any rooting now. Follow this simple guide to take screenshots of the Xperia X10! Taking Screenshots on your Xperia X10 can’t get simpler unless it gets rooted.
- How to View Videos in FullScreen Mode in Mediascape?
You would have noticed that it’s very hard to find a good video convertor that converts all the formats to the one thats applicable for Xperia X10 and also matches the screen resolution of it, 854×480. Which results in the videos not getting to full screen in the Mediascape, but Sony Ericsson solved this problem quite nicely.
Just Double tap the Video while it’s playing and it stretches to the full screen without affecting the pixel ratio.
The only pre-requisite to it is, that the video must be in the Ratio of 16:9 and not 4:3.
- How to Enter Safe Mode in Xperia X10?
To enter into Safe mode in Xperia X10, Reboot the Phone, and when the Phone Vibrates, press the Volume Down Key.

As far as I remember I could select 2G only on my Nexus One when I had it, this is on both 2.1 & 2.2. I know some carriers disable the 2G only option on their branded firmware but 2.1/2.2 does have the option.

Im not one to say the op is right, but saying "pinch to zoom" is a lot different than saying "multi touch". They may not have multi touch but could possibly come up with a comparable replacement for it. Names mean a lot when it comes down to law suits.

No, this is when you look like an idiot.
Did you read the post? "This is a general android release and not with S/E own UI and improvements." Which means "This is the official changelist for generic Android, not the one for the X10".
Read before you react.

The two things are not mutually exclusive. The patent involves using more than one finger at once to interact with a UI on a mobile phone. The name itself is generic. You can't pinch-to-zoom without using two fingers at once, which, is considered "multi-touch" (technically dual-touch).

Chill it man, the rules says we cannot start a thread on multitouch on the x10, but it doesn't even remotely state that we cannot mention multitouch on the generic build of Android. There's not even any rules prohibiting us from commenting about multitouch on the x10, we are just not allowed to create a thread on it. Please read the forum rules before taking things to the extreme.

sony xperia x10 to recieve android 2.1 this month.
Sony Ericsson has announced that its Xperia X10 handsets in the UK will be receiving an Android 2.1 update ahead of its projected Q4 release.
The smartphone maker’s UK unit told one of its Twitter followers that an “upgrade to Android 2.1 is due for release before the end of September this year”.
The news will please owners who have been stuck on the Android 1.6 software since the handset’s release in March. Although Android has already moved onto version 2.2 “Froyo”, with reports of a major leap forward to version 3.0 “Gingerbread” already in the works, the update is a step in the right direction.
It has not been revealed if or when the handset will also be receiving the update in North America, where it launched last month.

Hi! Brothers and Sisters......
Good day to you from Myanmar.:fingers-crossed:
I'd like to know how to customize my arc S?
Don't want to use any custom ROM or something custom. I already tried and using the following:
1. Xperia S Live with Walkman port
2. Notification Toggle port
3. Default Themes change
4. Infinite View change
5. Onscreen button (already tried, but not work)
6. Xperia S Launcher (already tried but not using now)
So.... how can I customize or port something great to my stock rom .587, Unlockedbootloader?
And also with stock firmware .587, my wifi signal is frequently lost especially when i enter to new address or new download even I stay beside the router. How can I fix this as Sony still don't fix that problem?
Thanks in advance for reading and your advices.
Sorry for my poor English language which makes you to fell something uncomfortable.
Have a nice day to all of Members and Guest. :fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed::fingers-crossed:
Closed per request.
Update: Yota did something unusual: they communicated! An employee contacted me with a request to remove the download link. He hints that an official release is not that far away anymore, and that the RU1.1.81 version in this post still has some open issues, so I decided remove the download link for now.
A little something to play with for those who are interested: Yotaphone 2 firmware 1.81 (Russian)
What is it?
- An (as of yet unreleased) yotaphone 2 firmware by Yota Devices
- still based on Lollipop 5.0
- unknown quality: My guess is beta+ quality, maybe some issues
- Russian (RU) version (hardly noticable, some russian apps, additional Cyrillic characters in dialpad of dialer), but runs fine with English language/other locales
- modem firmware is same as e.g. EU, I've had no network connectivity issues so far
- it's a full firmware, so it's not dependent on your current firmware version.
- contains from some new features, like double-tap-to-wake, new widgets and widget sizes, panels background selection, app improvements, security fixes (and who knows: some new Russian backdoors to match? )
- From Yota Devices themselves (signed).
Issues/warnings:
- for some reason unknown to me, Xposed framework won't run on recent versions. Boot never finishes with Xposed installed, the boot animation keeps playing, some background services get restarted over and over.
- This firmware has unknown quality, I've been using this one for a few hours now, looks pretty OK so far.
- If you're not comfortable using TWRP and flashing firmware images, it's probably easiest and safest to wait for an official OTA update.
- My phone showed a missed alarm this morning after having snoozed the first one, not sure if related to this firmware, but be careful not to lose your job
- <download link removed>
A detail which I may have missed until now: YotaReader in ROM 1.8x renders text in high quality (16 colors). See an example of the quality difference in this post here.
It may have been in the app for some time already, did anyone notice this? Backscreen browser does not do the same unfortunately, but at least reading ebooks is nicer now! :good:
Thanks for this dude, very exciting news. Did you get a look at any of the new features / fixes in the new firmware?
Nice that at least some people are paying attention to here ..

I mentioned some new features above, I especially like the double-tap-to-wake (better than swipe gesture) and the improved text quality in YotaReader.
In other news: Xposed (latest version: v78) seems to work again in combination with recent firmwares (it stopped working somewhere after 1.60), so that's good news too for users attached to Xposed.

(I have a few questions for any of you who own a LG G6 or other LG phone running their version of Android 7.0 so expand the description if you want to see those questions)
I found a demo LG G6, and decided to try it out, to find out that...
LG actually uses the Google emoji from stock Android!!! Yes!!!!!
Unlike that Sam-suck Galaxy S8 that uses their crappy and hard to read emoji that I absolutely hate.
I also found that LG's version of Android also has custom font support. Hopefully it's actually using FlipFont, because if that's the case, I could load my custom Comic Neue font package that I have on my Galaxy Tab A and use that.
(Does LG's Android use FlipFont or another font system where I can easily create a custom font package to use there?)
LG's Android also has custom theme support, so hopefully there's a theme that can make it look like stock Android 7.0, but sadly, the demo G6 I tried wasn't connected to WiFi. I already know LG's custom launcher has 2 versions, one with an app drawer and one without.
(Is there a theme for LG phones that can make it look like stock Android?)
Another thing I didn't notice in reviews on YouTube is that the power button is combined with the fingerprint sensor. Nice!!
Plus, LG's Android does have user changeable DPI settings. Hopefully that setting doesn't only affect LG apps.
One thing I forgot to check is if LG's Android has a blue light filter, which CyanogenMod does have.
(Does LG's version of Android have some kind of blue light filter or "night mode"?)
Even then, I'm probably not gonna upgrade my phone this year, because I had already gone through so much trouble trying to sign back in to all my apps after transferring to the Galaxy Tab A WiFi+cellular, unless there is an Android app (that does not require root) that can actually preserve app data so I would be able to continue right where I left off after switching to a new phone.
With that, I am considering getting a G6 (in silver or black, 64GB) (either that, or I might wait for either the G7 or whatever the next OnePlus will be called) but want to ask some questions, mainly pertaining to the software experience, which is my main deciding factor when it comes to buying an Android device.
Anyway, just open the spoiler thing above if you don't understand why I'm asking the following questions.

I tried, but I couldn't find it.
Closest I found was a "Pixel" theme, but I think I might be able to combine that with Nova Launcher + one of those stock Android icon packs for 3rd party launchers + Google Gboard + a bunch of stock Android apps that Google has uploaded to the Play Store, to get as close to stock Android as possible, or I might wait for LineageOS or another custom rom with the stock Android UI to be released for the G6.
(I do like using Nova Launcher Prime because one of the things it allows me to do is to hide a number of the Samsung apps and bloatware on my Galaxy Tab A, plus I can hide the app drawer behind a double tap gesture)

You can actually hide apps in the stock launchers too.
