i have managed to install american android on my hd2 sd card...
Problem:
i have an 1 GB data.img .. but android tells me only 411 MB phone space and 233 MB Free....
why ?

411 mb is not storage, it stands for RAM.

Please help me understand the following:
When I go to the System Profile>memory of my o2 exec I saw the following:
Storage Memory:
Total: 43.5 MB
In Use: 23.57
Free: 19.93
Program Memory:
Total: 49.93 MB
In Use: 34.29 MB
Free: 15.64 MB
My question are as follows:
1.) The spec says that this phone has 128 MB of Flash Storage and 64 MB RAM, does the Storage Memory and Program Memory part of the 128 MB Flash Storage?
2.) If the 64 MB RAM is also available in the phone and is not part of the Storage Memory and Program, is this the same as the "extended ROM" that you guys are talking about? If not, is there a way we can free this up?
As you may not be aware, I just got this new phone and I am trying to familiarize myself with the details.
Please advise.
Is there something I can do? only have 195 mb left, Moved all apps I can to memory card, but it still complains...
What error do you get? Because 195MB should be sufficiant...

i am using sensation xl rom on my htc leo (hd2).

and i have a 8 gb memory card (sd).
i format the card with 1 gb linux ext2. when i look from pc, i see that
used: 543,4 MB
free : 554,7 MB
but always have a problem with storage area on my phone while i am installing a new apps. all my apps are removed to sd card. and when i check my space from phone, it says just 48MB free area in internal device area ((
is it normal or did i do something wrong? how i can make it larger?

It is normal in international version HD2, ROM+Caches+Personal data almost full 250MB internal memory. I suggest you using ext3, it would save your internal memory.
