I wanted to do a quick survey of how much total ram is available for everyone.
Please include phone model (att/bell/orange/etc), what version you're on, any ROMs you may be using, and if you flashed pudding or not. It seems various people have different amounts of ram available, which I find interesting since the hardware should be almost identical.

I've just bought an Australia, Telstra 3G + Wifi XOOM on release day on Tuesday, and was looking to get the Micro SD slot working.
I realise to do this I need to root it, which I'm happy and confident in doing, except that I'm not sure what version of Xoom I have. Loads of the kernels etc available for download say they're only for the US or EU version etc, and I'm not sure which the Australian falls into.
If it's any help at all, in settings:
the model number is: MZ601
Firmware Configuration Version GAS_ASIA_USAEVRSTUTELSAU_P021
and kernel version: 2.6.36.3 [email protected] #1
Any help would be great. I'm keen to get some custom OCed kernels and the microsd slot going.
I've got a Galaxy S and have done loads of flashing with it, but with all these different versions I'm still familiarising myself in the world of Motorola Tablets!
I don't think that it's a good idea to get root because of new updates
My device is rooted and now I can't automaticly update it..
So I think it would be better to wait official update with microSD working If you just want your micro SD working
Sent from my Xoom using XDA App
The official update (to 3.1) by itself doesn't give MicroSD access anyway from what I've read, and I also want to OC, and a few other little pieces that comes with rooting.
In Australia, we are usually well behind the curve when it comes to updates anyway, so I'm better off to root, and get them off here (and other sites), than wait for official releases (already 3.1 is available here for Euro and US models).
I'm assuming that my model is Euro because of the model number MZ601. Is this correct?
If so, I'll go ahead and root, and update to 3.1 that model

Hi guys,
My brother will sell his blade (bought from here in Greece with 2.1 onboard) soon so I have to revert it to full stock state, so the next owner has full warranty.
Is there any guide and files around to do this?
Now it's running the latest gsf, modded to be gen2.
Thanks.

You can't get fully back to stock because Greek blades sold with 2.1 are limited to 256mb ram & we don't have a copy of the appsboot.mbn which does that.
A custom rom shouldn't affect the warranty & you should get a better price for a 512mb ram blade with Gingerbread.
Reselling the phone will probably invalidate the warranty, as warranty claims should be handled by the retailer that sold the phone (which would be your brother - but he'll be exempt as a private seller).
Has anyone managed to root or flash custom firmware? I have searched, and the last post for this specific model was in august and no one had found a solution. i have access to a pc, but no experiance with rooting other than one click, no pc methods. Kingroot and various other no pc methods have failed.
MODEL INFO
4G LTE using CDMA (Verizon) service
Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow
WiFi
Bluetooth
GPS
Voicemail, Caller ID, MMS/SMS
8 MP Rear Camera/ 5 MP Front Camera
Size: 3.09" x 6.0" x 0.30"
5.5" HD Touchscreen 720x1280 resolution (TFT)
2 GB RAM
16 GB Internal Memory (Up to 256 GB memory with external Micro SD Card)
1.4 Ghz Octa-core processor
3300 mAh Battery
Obviously, there has been no responses on this model. I have been looking with no avail. If I even knew where to begin working on a ROM for this I would atleast give it the going try, I have two of these and I found a stock firmware ROM that I may be able to use for recovery.
Have you heard anything else on this???

Where did get the info on it being a octa-core? My J7 Sky Pro is only quad core.
Sm-727-vl
Have you been able to root this phone? I'm currently on straight talk. Any help is appreciated. Thank you.
i have recent acquired this device im gonna download the kernel and look for vulnerabilities
my LTE mobile data has vanished
after uninstalling a few apps on my phone, i am unable to use LTE data. I'm not sure what info one would require to diagnose/troubleshoot this issue. please advise. obvivously i have the sm-s727vl straight talk j7 sky samsung galaxy model
I have almost got this device to be rooted. I Tried flashing the firmware and all that fun stuff. The phone was frp locked and is no longer. but now it is stuck in a factory binary. Install was also aborted when trying abd. but im going to clear the data and redo the entire process in order and ill let yall know how that goes. Then finally I will attempt to install root from the sd card.
So hi, I'm basically a noob, I just rooted my phone and I have a couple questions.
My first attempt at rooting my phone, it bricked it, so I went to sammobile and just downloaded the first stock rom I saw out of panic and that brings me to my first question. How would I know what my phones original Rom is cause I'm pretty sure I downloaded a wrong one.
Next question is after I successfully rooted my phone, when rebooting, just before the SAMSUNG logo comes up, there's a yellow, small font "set warranty bit:kernel" located at the top left of the screen which is kinda freaking me out. Googling didn't help much either with providing information.
And would someone recommend me a custom Rom for me to install, I'm looking for maximum performance for gaming which works for my phone. I tried package disabling some bloatwares that I saw here which is said to be safe to disable but it just softbricked my phone. Please help me with my predicaments.
Phone is Samsung Galaxy s7 edge(SM-G0350): Black Pearl
4 Cores 4gb ram and available ram is only around 40% cause of bloatwares.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 2.15Ghz
Adreno 530 as Renderer
128 gb Internal Memory
I have a bricked GMOVE GW10S.
Can anyone provide me link for firmware so that I can flash it and revive it?

Sorry to hear that you have bricked your watch. I am thinking that you have used the firmware upgrade option in SP Tools and flashed all the items - including the pre-loader?
The KW88 and others have different pre-loaders and a different screen resolution and screen drivers.
In a situation like this you should use the download only option in SP Tools and NOT flash the pre-loader.
However, it's a bit late for this advice now.
If you did not flash the pre-loader it is the different screen causing the problem.
If you post a link to the website that shows the watch and the details for it - I will see what I can do.
I've checked, I can't get it for you. Sorry.
Maybe. Needrom might have it?

Yes Pablo11, I've firmware upgraded it.
Cant find manufacturer website. Only gearbest page "Gmove GW10s"
Now what can I do to revive the watch?

The only way is to contact the seller and ask for the stock firmware.

I am having the same problem with the Gw10s. I already requested the firmware stock, but no one responds to the message. Maybe you have better luck when ordering too. The Gmove website is http://www.gmove.cc/
I have the stock firmware. Want it?
Please send me the GW10s stock. So far I have not found anywhere on the internet.
