So with all the horror stories of people bricking their phones flashing some crazy stock ROM with a non-tmous stock ROM I have uploaded the latest stock 3.14 tmous ROM for all tmobile USA users who want to do a warranty claim or flash stock for whatever reason.
If you are going to do a warranty claim just move this file to the root of your SD card (8gb or smaller) and reboot the phone, then flash.

I really appreciate this, I was trying to restore a friends phone to stock so she could send it in to T-Mobile and had some issues. After I flashed using the stock .exe (RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_3.14.531.0_Radio_15.42.50.09U_2.14.50.04_LEO_1.5_Ship) it got stuck at the three color bootloader screen. Would this .nbh solve this issue as well? Or does it have something to do with the SPL?
It might solve it, try and flash it

Hello,
Thank you for this thread! I've been looking for this rom!
But I need help, I was hoping you could give me some insight on my situation.
I'm trying to restore my phone to send it back to t-mobile. So I downloaded the file and it says LEOIMG.nbh and it's on my downloads. So I copied it to the root(main part) of my SD card. My SD card is the one that came with my HD2, and I used it to install the gingerbread rom in the first place.
Anywho, After that I go back to MGLDR and click on 8. AD Recovery. Then it loads clockworkmod recovery and from there I press install zip from sd card, then choose zip from sd card, and when I do that I see my sd card but I don't see the LEOIMG.nbh file there :/
I don't know what step I messed up on, maybe i'm completely way off.
But if someone could help me I'd really appreciate it. Thanks again..
AD is android, this is windows, you need to select windows flasher. This is not an android flashable zip file.
You need to flash this for windows. not android.
You have to do like I stated in the op, turn off the phone. Hold volume down key while turning it on. Then flash

Hello again,
Okay I just tried holding the volume key down while turning on and it goes to the REDGREENBLUEWHITE screen.
It says
PB81120 SS-B3
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x50
I tried doing this many times, I tried doing it holding it down for a while, as well as holding it down til the screen comes up and then letting go.
Nothing works . It just takes it to that screen and that's it. Nothing else.
Could you please explain what I should do next? Thank you very much.. Sorry for your time..
Thank you for this..

Your SD card must be 8gb or less. You using a 16?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Yes does that really make a difference? Even though I emptied out my memory card? It's the only one I have but I can probably get another.
But anywho,
What should happen once I use a smaller memory card and hold down power and volume down? What will it say?
Thank you. If I ever need it, I will have it.

It won't flash it unless you use an 8gb or smaller.
It will ask you if you want to flash the ROM...
Did you get it to flash?
I was running into the same issue while trying to flash. I tried it with my 32GB card, then the original 16GB card that it came with, then with an 8GB card I had lying around. I noticed each time that it would show the REDGREENBLUEWHITE screen, then briefly flash 'Loading...' then go back to the RGBW screen. While trying it with the 8GB card, I let go of the VolDown button at the brief 'Loading' screen and then it went into the flash utility, and I noticed that the VolDown button on that screen also cancels the flash process.
Are you seeing the Loading screen? If so, let go of the VolDown button then.
Nvm... I fixed my issue.
I followed your steps, then used this website for flashing info.

So, I'm also having a problem with this.
I'm using a 2gb card to try to do this.
I get to the tri-color bootloader screen and it just says serial at the bottom and just stops there.
As someone mentioned above, to let go of the volume down button when you get to the loading screen...it doesnt show a loading screen.
Anyone know what I may be doing wrong? Or any other suggestions.
Thanks

Let go of the vol-down button as soon as you turn on the device and start to see the tri-color screen, THEN it should say "loading"
Make sure the file is called LEOIMG.NBH and make sure it's on the root of your SD
Make sure your SD card is formatted FAT32

I've done all of those things, and I just reformatted the card and tried again.
Basically what happens, is the tri-color screen comes on and then the screen flashes and the tri-color screen comes on again and just says Serial at the bottom and it does nothing after that.

Hi there,
I really need help!
I wanted to flash my phone with a nbh file, but I could not enter my bootloader.
I had installed HSPL3.
Now someone told me to use Flashaholic ROM update utility.
I did this, and a black screen with a % indicator appeared, not too long, it restarted, and went into a white screen with htc in the middle.
Restarting with volume down button pushed doesnt bring me into bootloader.
What can I do now?
I really need help!
Unfortunately, if you can't get your HD2 to boot into the bootloader, there's not much to be done.
Are you sure you had HSPL installed? Because from what I have heard, HSPL is there to always allow you to use it for flashing stuff, regardless of the integrity of other software parts such as the radio or the ROM, so reaching the bootloader should not be a problem for anyone.
Can you connect it to your PC via USB? If you manage to get a connection, you might just have a chance to flash another radio/ROM.

I installed HSPL3, and it said it was succesfull so...
After that I installed a custom rom with an utility that came with it (Dutty's)
So far I know, I cannot get any connection, but I try to download a stock rom (an utility exe) from HTC.com.
But I think this won't work right? because you have to sync.
You could try and flash a stock ROM via the SD Card, see if that works. There are some instructions here on XDA in the ROM Development section, check it out there.
Basically, once you have downloaded an official ROM from htc.com, extract it as if it were an archive and get the ruu_signed.nbh. Rename it to LEOIMG.nbh. Then take your SD Card, format it to FAT32, place the LEOIMG.nbh on the card and put it in your phone. While holding down the volume down button, boot the phone and a white Loading... screen should appear and the flashing process should begin.
I`m afraid this won't work either, as the bootloader is supposed to show up in order for you to be able to flash anything, but it's better than doing nothing, so...

Hi, if I remember correctly, you already said in the Artemis-thread, that the VOL DOWN button is broken. If this is the case, I fear there is not much you can do...
Have the same problem too.
I've installed a few roms with no worries, tried one about an hour ago that performs a Task 29 and i'm also now stuck at the white HTC screen...
it says the task29 was succesfull and then got stuck on the white HTC screen and the rom failed to load as the laptop did not detect a usb connection...
I've downloaded a stock rom and put it on the SD card named LEOIMG.nbh and tried pressing the vol down button, the Red,green, blue, white screen appears i can see
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL 2.08.Hspl 8g XE
0x05
CotullaHSPL 0x30
Then "serial" at the bottom or if i have the phone connected to the pc then "USB" appears.
If i hold both buttons and perform a Hard reset the phone asks to press Vol up button then says restored really quickly then freezes at the white HTC screen..
Any suggestions
Cheers
Actually got it sorted now, the rom had the Flashaholic utility built in which i haven't used before.
As we speak the rom is now installing phew (stop sweating now)...
Thought i had bricked it...

It's not broken, it just worked before I did the task29.
The phone is empty, and has no bootloader, and no ROM.

task29 DELETES the ROM. You NEED to install a ROM. A Radio-ROM should be installed automatically with task29. If this isn't the case, you need to install a Radio-ROM too. You can either install the HTC ROM or you can install a custom ROM like forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=612580
Suggestion: Enter bootloader -> connect USB -> install ROM with CustomRUU

Well im not able to.
I did a HSPL before then I putted a custom ROM Dutty's on the device.
After that I putten a Stock ROM on it again, and then I used Flashaholic, and after task29 it got stuck.
Well no bootloader means no HSPL which is good news for your warranty coverage..
Just go to HTC service and play dumb " uhm i was playing around websites with a flash game and uhm my phone uhm rebooted and is like stuck ever since in uhm HTC logo"
Now if the case for not being able to load the bootloader is a broken volumedown button, yeah ur pretty screwed, prepare to dive in ur wallet.
Were do you live? If you need help and there's one living nereby maybe we can help (p.e. a full battery) I live in the eastern part of the Netherlands (Overijssel) PM me if you can come.
On the Kaiser (my previous phone) I also had a problem I couldn't enter the bootloader anymore, but I can't remember why or what I did to recover it.
- If it was an allmost empty battery and recharged it?
- If I have used a special tool to connect?
I really can't remember.
If I read your story, I think you have loaded a corrupted NBH thru SDCard method, otherwise i think you cannot wipe your bootloader. Task29 only wipes the ROM area not the bootloader.
Have you tried to contact Bepe or Cotulla, cause i think they know everything about (H)SPL.
Otherwise you can start building a new house (you've got your first brick )
have you checked you battery connections, the middle one is notorious for getting bent out of shape at which point the battery will not charge and you can't flash you ROM.

All the connections look fine.
I've been hacking/modding/flashing for years with numerous devices and have never been this far down this path...I searched around and haven't found an answer or the same situation so I'm sorry if I overlooked a similar thread.
I've been running WP7 on my HD2 for a few months after running Android from the SD and NAND for a few months before that. Yesterday my touchscreen started getting VERY difficult to use, with it being both innacurate and unresponsive. It got progressively worse so this morning I reflashed the WP7 ROM without any problems. Even after that it continued getting worse to the point where the phone was unusable because the touchscreen would not respond to anything so I couldn't unlock the phone. The hardware keys worked fine. So I decided I would try to go back to WM6.5 in an attempt to isolate whether it was software or hardware. I'm on my work computer so it doesn't have the proper drivers for flashing, so I formated my SD card, put a TMO-US WM6.5 build on the root of the card, renamed it LEOIMG.nbh and put it back in.
I booted to the tri-color screen, pressed power to confirm the flash. It flashed the progress bar and then went to the loading screen. It stayed there for around 30 minutes so I pulled the battery out and attempted to try again, but then a screen comes up for a half second that says "Software update Failed! Please Try Again" and then it goes back to the loading screen. If I try to go back to the Tri-color screen it shows it for a second and says "ROM code error Please try again" then returns to the loading screen. Anybody have any advice? Anybody seen this before?
Got a full filename for the rom you flashed?
In bootloader what's the full spl line say?
What size SD card? The stock tmous one?
wow.. unless some how the flash to wm conflicted with magldr that should had worked...
When you start the phone holding down the volume key... Do you have the SDcard still in it and it just kicks you out of the bootloader? Technically ad long as the boot loader shows up it should be fixable but it kicks you out.. that a problem

This is the ROM I was flashing on the SD:
RUU_Leo_1_5_TMOUS_2.10.531.1_Radio_Signed_15.34.50.07U_2.08.50.08_2_Ship.zip
I got it from here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=655653
The bootloader says 2.08.0000 then MicroP something. It just flashes so it is hard to read too fast.
I am using an 8GB Class 4 card. I also tried it with the stock 16GB one but it did the same thing. When I tried flashing it, however, it was the 8GB card.

That's what I'm gathering as well. In my experience I've never been afraid of bricking because I've always been able to get to the bootloader. In this case, I can get to it, but it won't let me stay in it.
I finally got the phone to stay in bootloader mode, however when I try to flash any ROM, whether Task29, radio, stock, or cooked 6.5 it goes through the ROM Update Utility steps and then it stops at 0% for a few minutes before giving me an update communication error. This is what the Bootloader says:
PB81120 SS-B3
SPL-2.08.0000 8G XE
MicroP(LED) 0x05
MicroP(TOUCH) 0x50
Upgrade ROM code error
Please Try Again
Thanks again for the help.
YOU donT have HSPL... Thats why flashing a cooked rom isnt working aswell ad everything else... flash a stock rom to get it up and running
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Yep, there's the problem. Any spl ending. 0000 is stock, you have 2.08.0000, you actually need 2.08.hspl.
Don't feel too silly though, its the most basic error there is, but still turns up daily.
When you flash a stock Rom from the SDCard it removes the HSPL... So you can try flashing a Stock ROM to see if the screen issues continue or put HSPL back on and flash something to it
also, what size is your SD card? Quite often, SD Cards over 2GB in size fail for rom updates via the SD Card method.
You could also go here: http://psas.revskills.de/?q=node/ and download the free version.
Run The program and select:
Menu-Hardware forensics-WINCE SD Utils and get your card serial number. (needs a windows mobile phone connected via activesync to the pc (with the card in it) to work though)'
Once you get the code, PM it to me and I will make a goldcard.img for you.
That way you can flash any rom without having hspl on the phone.
Again, this will only work with a card under 4gb. 1 or 2gb is recommended.

First off your HD2 is not bricked. If it wax bricked it would not so much as turn on.To save your HD2 do one of these two things.
Download the official update from T-Mobile.com. Look behind your battery to find your IMEI number to enter. Next make sure your HD2 is good and charged I know this is hard as it will not boot but just let it charge for a good while as you do not want the battery to die during either method of flashing. Now while the phone is off hold the volume down button down and press the power button but keep holding the volume down button down. When the phone is in bootloader(multicolor screen) connect your phone to the computer via USB and wait for Serial in the white bar of the bootloader screen to change to USB and for your computer to show it recognizes your phone then right click on the update package and click run as administrator and run the update utility. This should flash the stock ROM but if you have MAGLDR you will loose it and if you have HSPL you might lose it.
Now the secound option you have is to right click on the update package and click on view or explore wich ever one you see and find the RUU_signed.nbh file and rename it to leoimg.nbh or LEOIMG.nbh as it is not case sensitive. Then take a 500MB to 4GB SD card that is formated with Fat 32 and place it into a USB SD card reader and plug it into a USB port on your computer. If you are not sure about the format. Go to "My Computer" and find the card reader, it will be a removable drive or a mass storage device (make sure to make a back up copy of the intior contents of the SD card first as it will wipe the card clean)and right click on it and click format and then Fat 32. Copy the leoimg.nbh file to the root of the SD card. After coping it to the SD card place the card in your phone and put it into bootloader the same as mentioned above but keep the volume down button held down until you see searching on the phone screen and then let the volume down button go. You will have to press the power button to comfirm it. This should flash your phone to complete stock as it will remove MAGLDR, CWM, and HSPL if you have it on your phone.
There is other options to but I highly suggest going back to stock and then starting back over again as to me it just simplifies things some. Also seeing as you have a T-Mobile HD2 do not flash a radio that looks like any of these 2.04.50.xx, 2.05.50.xx, or any radio like this 2.xx.51.xx as any of these radios will brick a T-Mobile HD2.

Yes you can reflash a Andriod ROM if you go back to stock but you would have to flash HSPL 2.08 again, flash MAGLDR 1.13 again, and CWM if you want to use it.
If you just want to flash another Andriod ROM just turn your HD2 off and then turn it back on button keep the power button down until the main menu of MAGLDR comes up (that is if you already have MAGLDR on your HD2) and then follow the instructions from the Andriod ROM on how to flash it using MAGLDR or CWM if you have it.
If you do not have HSPL and MAGLDR on your HD2 uou will have to flash both to hour HD2 befor you can flash a Andriod ROM. To flash these do this but your HD2 into bootloader (muticolor screen) and connect it to your computer via USB cable and wait to see USB in the white bar of the bootloader screen and that your computer recognizes your HD2 then flash wichever one you are wanting to flash. You will have to do this for every individual thing you want to flash. You also need to flash HSPL 2.08 first then MAGLDR 1.13 and then CWM if you want it.

No you have to have MAGLDR to install Android. Try installing Clock Work Mod (CWM) and use it to install your Andriod ROM. Just do a search for Clock Work Mod for HTC HD2. Then read and follow the instructions in the ROM thread to use CWM to flash it.
i have a few problems when trying to install any rom using magldr.
First, whenever i boot up to the magldr screen, sometime it will freeze and i have to take out my battery.
Second, When installing a rom, it gets stuck at "the booting android from nand 123456 go go go" screen.
What could be wrong with my magldr, i already tried to re-installing it and it still acts up.

Take your SD card out of your HD2 and then boot it up and see if you still have the problem. If it is gone you need to back up your SD card and do a full wipe of it and reformat it using your computer and a SD card reader. Format it Fat 32.

i tried that, and it seem to work, but it still often freezes on me during usage. For example, when i am on the android market, it tends to freeze up. is there any way i can fix this? and can you recommend me an android build that doesn't have this problem?

Run a task 29 on your HD2 then reclash MAGLDR and see if this helps it should, unless you have some bad boot sectors.
damn, i also tried that too, but it still freezes on me. i think i have a bad boot sector, how do i fix this?

Well you can not fix bad boot sectors persay witbout replacing the NAND memory chip which acrually requires the replacment of the intior mainboard of your HD2. Because you can not just replce the chip cause of the wah the mainboard is made. Wht you can do is use a JTAG device and some special software to go in and mark those sectors as bad so the phone will no longer try to use those sectors.
Hi Guys,
I am getting desperate with my HD2. I've read and tried most of your advices here on XDA, but I can't get rid of HSPL from my phone and return to stock ROM to send it for repair.
When I tried to flash my phone directly from SD card with renamed .nbh file, it would always get stuck at some point of installation and would leave me with phone that wouldn't boot, neither Android nor Windows. When I flash the phone thru USB while in boot loader mode (i tried few roms and radios, most recently radio 2.06.51.07 with HTC_WWE_1.66.405.2 rom)
It would install correctly and even boot the Win Mobile, but once restarted it wouldn't boot again and would get stuck on a blank white screen. Also the HSPL is still shown on the boot loader screen.
when I repeated the process and installed both radio and rom again, the same thing would repeat and I'm stuck on blank screen again.
My boot loader screen shows this:
PB81100 HX-BC
SPL-2.08.HSPL 8G XE
0x05
cotulla HSPL 0x40
The phone was from UK Virgin mobile, but came unbranded and I'm not sure what the stock rom was. I tried flashing it with SPL 2.08, but that wouldn't get me rid off the HSPL.
Any help will be greatly appreciated!
Thanks!
Get hspl2, and choose 1.66.0000
Retry the wwe 1.66 rom again.
Post results.
Spl 2.x is tmous spl, and doesn't like to let itself downgrade, which is what the 1.66 rom is trying to do.
thanks for the reply!
Just tried and it went without any error logs (only took couple of seconds) and claimed it was successfully installed, but when restarted, the boot loader screen still says SPL-2.08 HSPL.
any other ideas?
stuck radio then, most likely, which often prevemts spl from changing too.
no definitive answer as to what exactly causes it, , corrupted nand most likely.
when you say it sticks part way thru the flashing, , does it stick around 8-10%? if so then its definitely a stuck radio problem. do you get 'radio_rsa fail' or something similar?
sadly there isn't any way i know of to fix it. all i can suggest is you try various troms from sd. i read one thread (out of hundreds with teh same issue) where the OP finally found one stock rom that took.
dont forget that it needs to be teh correct stock rom, not just any stock rom. so an O2 uk hd2 must use o2 uk stock roms. 1.42, 1.72 or 3.14.
locate your correct stock roms and try them all.
Yea exactly thats what I get when flashing from SD card, stuck soon at around 10% and brings up the radio fail log.
When I do that and try to flash them all from SD card, shall I install radio first or it doesn't matter when flashing ROM from SD card?
Any idea how to find out what's the stock rom for my hd2? I tried HTC site but you can't download anything from there for HD2 since they updated their site.
Also, shall the SD card be formated with ext3 system partition on it (the android setup) or just use an empty FAT32 formatted card?

doesnt matter when flashing stock roms, they all imclude a radio. It cant hurt to try flashing teh radio separately, but i suspect teh same outcome.

pretty sure virgin phones came rom unlocked, so look at teh filenames of teh roms, , you want 'HTC-WWE' where HTC means unbranded, and wwe means world wide english.
example
o2 branded rom filename .. RUU_Leo_S_O2_UK_3.14.206.1_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship
unbranded rom filename ... RUU_Leo_S_HTC_WWE_3.14.405.2_Radio_15.42.50.11U_2.15.50.14_LEO_S_Ship
ALso, see the green numbers? thats the same for all same roms, so all o2 roms are 206 and all unbranded wwe are 405
Also, shall the SD card be formated with ext3 system partition on it (the android setup) or just use an empty FAT32 formatted card?

shouldnt matter, but again it cant hurt to fully format the phone to fat32, full format, not quick format.
Thanks for your help man! Will try and post results later.

Thats because you are not booting into the right bootloader. See pt 4 below.
No need for all the hassle, there is a really easy way to do this. This will revert your phone ENTIRELY. Remember to have at least 50% battery before doing this:
1.Download official ROM and extract with winRAR or WinZip.
2.Rename the *.nbh file to LEOIMG.nbh
3.Format a SD card with FAT32 and put the LEOIMG.nbh file in the root directory
4.Insert the card to the phone and enter bootloader (While phone is Off:Hold Volume down & press power button)
5. The bootloader will recognize the .nbh file and ask if you want to flash it. Follow instructions
6.Wait a few minutes and you are back to WM6.5
Tried, doesnt work. Explained in the first post.
why are you sending it for repair in the first place?
I dropped it once and since then has the screen got some weird yellowish/greenish colours. seems like some contacts got fu**ed up, but there isnt any mechanical damage visible, so they should repair under the warranty.
But only if in bootloader the spl says 1.42.0000 1.66.0000 or 3.03.0000
Anything else will be rejected.
What you mean by 'not the right boot loader'. I did get it to start installation and recognise the file, but after a while it would come up with a error log saying something like radio failed or something like that...
Yea I know, thats why Im trying to put it back to stock.
what size sd card are you flashing the .nbh file from? you will need to use a 4gb or smaller sd card.
what he meant by the right bootloader i think was to be flashing the .nbh from the tri-color bootloader, not from MAGLDR or CWM Recovery.
If you are using a 4gb or smaller card and it's still failing at the radio, then you might as well try flashing a few different radio's by themselves and maybe you'll get one of them to take, then possibly be able to get out of HSPL
well yea, thats what will be trying to do next.
it wont let me to MAGLDR or CWM, seems like these files got corrupted too so yea, im using the tri-color bootloader.
and its 2GB sd card im using
so i guess the only way now is to try flash different roms...
dude 2-3 days back even i was facing the same problem, and here i am writing , how i get through this. i guess you already tried this, but still i am writing so that you get some help...
1)i use hspl2 and select 1.42.0000 to remove my hspl 2.08.
2)extract stock rom using "7-zip" and in the extracted folder find "RUU_signed.nbh" rename it to "LEOIMG.nbh". copy that file to your formated fat32 micro sd card.
3) reset the your hd2 while holding vol down and end call button.
4) first a tri-color screen will appear, keep pressing both the buttons, then a gray screen will come with written "loading".
5) after that 1 more gray screen will appear, loose the vol down button now, rest everything will go smooth, u dont have to do anything.

but if you return to hspl 1.42.000 the you cant flash your rom ..you need hspl 2.08 only to flash
Thanks zaaaan but I got bit luckier and virgin replaced the phone for no extra charge. I was 2 weeks before the end of the contract and I gave it a shot, sent it to virgin. They got back to me saying that they cant repair it and will therefore send me a replacement phone. I got new desire, bit smaller, but android on it runs really nicely and most of all its built for it, so no more flashing and killed hours of running in circles.
then I got 20£ discount just to stay with them on no contract. they got me
should probably add that the phone still had hspl on it
Hi there.
In my wisdom I let a friend of mine convince me that he was the pro at "flashing roms on my HD2". To be honest, i have no clue what he was talking about but it sounded good at the time. My problem is I now own a phone that has some serious issues that I have tried fixing myself to no avail, hence me posting on these forums.
From what I have read throughout the forum I have a feeling he used the NAND method . I have attempted to fix it but nothing seems to work.
I then tried the sd method and still no luck. I took some pics of what the screen shows and hopefully someone reads this and thinks, omg this chick is completely clueless and has some idea as to how I can fix it .
I have screenshots of the issues I'm having but cant post them. Maybe I could pm them or email them if anyone is willing to help me
I realize how stupid and idiotic I sound but I'm fairly desperate to get it fixed.
Hayley.
If you're allowed to post links, upload your pics to any file server and put in here the address. Or try to send me the files via PM.
Good luck!
Explain what is the issue in detail.
There is always a fix.don't worry.

Basically i'm unable to load any sort of rom onto my phone, after following numerous amounts of instruction guides etc.
The phone will load the 12345, go go go, screen, it also says it's booting from Android NAND; it then will get to an Android logo and freeze. I'm able to get into the boot menu and bootloader but can't seem to wipe the old rom off to put a new one on.
I've pretty much exhausted my options, as the guy who originally thought he was amazing at this and has done it all the time, now has no clue why it's doing this. Last time i trust someone with my phone! Haha
Have you tried to use the HD2 Toolkit to do a full wipe of the phone with Task 29? Flash Magldr, Repartition the phone to whatever the ROM you're flashing specifies.
Sent from my Desire HD using XDA App
Hey have you figure it out?
Okay, I think that there is a problem with the ROM he chose. If he picked a rom that's too big it won't boot up.
I'd try to hold down the power button, see if you can get into the MAGLDR menu.
If you can then scroll down with the volume keys and go to AD Recovery.
Clockworkmod recovery should load.
From there I would download a new ROM, HyperDroid or any CM7 based ROM are good options.
Mount the USB storage, transfer the ROM to the root of the SD card, flash zip from SD, choose the rom and flash.
I think that is the best steps to take and if it doesn't work then you should Task29 and reflash everything.
Best of luck to you
Any ROMs in particular you would recommend? I'm sort of clueless as to what is good as he's sort of left me hanging as to what programs i need and what i should and shouldnt be doing, so irritating haha.
Are you flashing roms using ad recovery option in magldr ?
Sent from my HTC HD2 using XDA App
Trying to, I tried one last night, and it just kept telling me the installation was aborted.
Getting very close to giving up, nothing I seem to be doing is working, not entirely sure if what I'm doing is right though. Having no experience of doing this obviously makes the situation incredibly difficult, I really appreciate all your time and effort with helping me though.
Okay, I think we should task 29 the phone and reinstall MAGLDR and CWM.
I know how frustrating it can be, when I first tried to root and flash my old phone, it took me 3 days of work to figure it out haha.
Okay, here's the thread for Task29, go to bottom of the first post and download the tool.
Plug your phone into your computer, and enter the bootloader by holding volume down and pressing power. Remove your SD Card and SIM card before doing this.
Ensure that it says usb at the bottom.
Go on your computer and find the .exe you downloaded.
If you're on Vista or 7, right click and hit "run as administrator".
Follow the steps on the program.
Your phone should go into a black HTC screen with a loading bar.
It should take a few seconds to finish.
Task29 essentially restores everything to factory with no ROM or anything.
After you've done this we can reflash MAGLDR and CWM.
Here's a video just in case you need some additional support with it:
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DtTDuc4V4cU
You probably dont have clock work mod... Flash a higher partition cwm recovery... It will work... Pm me if need help.... Theres nothing major going on in your phone... We can get ot fix

Thanks so much guys, will have a go and get back to you as soon as possible Much appreciated
I'm trying to use task29 currently, but it's just sitting on 0% and won't move. It's been like this for a while now?
Should i just continue to leave it?
Edit: Just received Error 262? Unsure what to do

So this is the reason you could not get android running on your phone. U have stock spl...but you need HSPL!
Okay, so how do I fix this!
The best way I think is to went back to stock rom by flashing latest stock rom via sd card. Then install HSPL and if this was successful you can go back to MADLDR 1.13 and flash an NAND android.
Do you have an HD2 EU (only white hard buttons)?
best way
1. Make sure your microSD is Formatted to fat32 (you dont have to delete all files but it is safer if you do)
2. Download your prefered Rom from the LEO Rom Develpoment Page and unzip/unrar it to your PC
3. Goto the Roms Folder and rename the .nbh file to LEOIMG.nbh
4. Copy the LEOIMG.nbh file to the root of your MicroSD Card
5. Plug the MicroSD Card into the phone
6. Reset the device while pressing the volume down button to enter the BootLoader screen, you will first see a tri-color screen with the phone and SPL Information at the top
7. Follow the On Screen instructions to start the update
8. After flash has completed, press the reset button with the stylus to reset the device.
U can get a official ROM from the HTC website, make sure u DONT get the newest, but the 1.66 ROM version.
Extract the *.exe to your desktop using WINRAR and u will have a .nbh file in there.
Have fun!

yea like the fellow said you chose 2.08.50.0000 instead you should have chosen the 2.08.50.hspl and you would have been fine....... i did the same thing, i was the "friend" what usually takes 15 minutes took me 2 hours........ you are fine hun!
