Hi,
Is anybody can give me the link on manual of how install Sense 3.0? I tried to do it by myself, but unfortunately have no luck.
You mean install a Sense3.0 based ROM right?
Cause you cannot just install Sense3.0 on a Non-Sense based ROM..

Hi, you must first root your phone (sorry no other possibility), than install a new rom on it or find sense 3.0 that is close to the stock version that you have.
Backup after rooting you phone!!!!! (Clockworkmod)
Read this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1079108
It give's you more information about the available rom's.
Before you do anything read the information on how to root you phone, if there are any parts not clear, DO NOT ROOT YOUR PHONE!!!
Good luck with it.
Thanks guys! I have already clear it

hi everyone,
I'm looking for a stable Sense HD desire rom with no known bugs, such as ext Sd partition, wifi and gps. (the most important one is the Sd ext partition which the phone doesn't recognize [is there a script to fix it?], the others I heard are solvable).
Moreover I'd like to know if everyone knows why after rooting my Liquid with any Sense rom and going back to any Froyo rom (official, leaked or custom), there's no way to make my gps work. how to fix it?
here is the Sense HD rom.

Vache's Sense port (the one you linked to) is the only one I know of for the Liquid. Don't know how to get the ext partition working with the ROM.
Your GPS issue might be a hardware malfunction (sounds like it at least). It should work on the Sense port and it definitely should work on stock ROMs. Maybe you should put stock ROM back onto it (installing stock ROM onto it unroots the device as well) and send it to Acer for warranty repair.

hi there.
i got my legend 3 days ago
i got it from some guy that used it for a while, he told me that it has installed superuser whit it the phone can run normaly, including updates, reading every simcards etc....
now i've read that for legend is released 2.2 sw, but my phone is running on 2.1-update1
and dont show me new updates when i click to check for it...
so guys plss can some of you post me here a step by step tutorial what should i do
to get my phone running on froyo or gingerbread if its possible
ty in advanced
confused android user
There's already plenty of tutorials in Development / stickies, some are not stickied, so you might have to search a bit...
As for the update, best way for you check few ROMs and install via ROM manager since you are rooted... B0.7 is particulary good one
ok i manager to install cyanogenmod 6.1 on my legend works great
btw why i cant login my acc on XDA app in phone?
you can go to the market and download Rom Manager... my preferred way in managing rom. it can download rom too ;-), if you found new rom that you want to test other than the ones found in Rom Manager. download it and put it on the root of your sd card so that its easy to look for.
eg. Blay0's B 0.7 rom found here http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=866849
or
CM7 from here. http://download.cyanogenmod.com/?type=nightly&device=legend
and remember to Wipe Data and Cache if its a new ROM to avoid boot loop.
you can then use "Manage and Restore Backups" to jump between roms that you've backup or rename them to not get mix-up...
Have fun ^^
Where can i get the roms needed to load Android Gingerbread on my HD2? Any help would be appreciated.
1st check out this post. it will guide you through installing android on your phone.
then decide on if you want a sence ROM or not.
sence gingerbread ROM found here or here
non-sence gingerbread ROM found here or here
miui based gingerbread ROM found here or here
as always you will need to make sure each ROM is ok to flash over to your phone.
check this web site out to. it will give you a list of all the Android ROMs available for the hd2 that are posted here on XDA.
I (well my wife) is using Mikhei777 Sense 3.0 ROM (original version). There are some issues with it and I want to upgrade it for her. Should I use the latest sense 3.0 version or move to his sense 3.5 ROM. Anyone using these ROM's? Please advise.
Also instruction regarding upgrading would be useful, do not want to destroy my wife's current setup and applications.....
Thank you.
Anyone using these ROM's?
help please.....
Backup your current apps/games etc with Titanium Backup.
Then follow the flashing guides or instructions in rom thread. You may want to use teh HD2 toolkit as it will make things easier.
Btw, double and tipple posting doesnt help.
Hello there, and first of all excuse my english, I'll try to explain my question as best as I can
I have an htc Surround running a custom ROM (the phone was already running an old DFT ROM when I got my hands on it), after some research I am still doubting if flashing my phone with a stock ROM can lock something making it unable to reinstall the current Custom ROM on my phone.
It's just a simple question, but can't find any clear info about that, so I am asking as my last resource, I don't want to lock the bootloader or something like that.
My plan is to install a stock ROM, then upgrade it step-by-step to 7.8 using the Seven-Eighter tool, and if anything goes wrong or I don't like it, reinstall the custom ROM from always using the RUU I have on my hard disk
If need to post some info about my phone feel free to ask about it.
Regards and thanks for reading!
Hi, it's me again
Reading more I find this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1195647
looks like I should lose my HSPL (as I refer to bootloader in my previous post) if I flash using a stock ROM using the RUU from NODO.
Someone correct me if I am wrong.
