I have searched the forum and have found a couple of threads about change Bootanimations , as of yet I have been unable to do this on my wildfire running jokerDroid 4.2
I tried both Flashing the new bootanimation zip within Clockwork and copy and pasting the zip using Root explorer .
Has anyone managed to change the Boot animation on jokerDroiD ?
Yes, I just did this yesterday on JokerDroid.
You just have to replace bootanimation.zip in folder system\customize\resource\ with the one you want

When I try to paste the zip i get
"you cannot paste here because the file system is read-only" ?
Mount system with r/w rights in root explorer (there is one button with "mount r/w")
Yes you need rw rights
btw. for those who have JokerDroid ROM i have a problem with send/receive MMS. I get Generic network failure. I set my APN settings right because I can send MMS with this settings in cm7. Anyone else having same problem?
Is there any solution?
Yeah same problem here, all APN settings are correct but get the generic network failure ! Still trying to figure it out ...

Post this on the Rom topic, on dev section. It's a better place to search for others users experience or at least for the dev see this.

How did you manage that..I take it your phone is rooted...must be to mess them up right?
Just download the stock ruu from the dev forum..extract the file on your PC..find the two files..save them on your SD card and move them back to there original path using root explorer from the market (its not free) but Its saved my ass a few times.. This should now fix you files..
Note it will not let you replace them until you change the r/w in root explorer (top right hand corner)

Another way would be to flash the complete ruu.zip file using clockwork recovery.
Either method will fix your files..if you have clockwork then I guess this maybe easier...Make sure its the correct ruu!

The page of the forum, and link to download are all in Hebrew. Maybe I will figure out how to patch a link to one of the versions of the fix-script, but would this be any good for you?
The script it self is in English ofcours. I have no credit for the script. I'm just a User!

naa what you need is to download like a stock g1 rom that you KNOW has the sounds your looking for... than you un-zip that file and search in it for a media folder, thats where you'll find the ringtones and notifications sounds.. than you can either add them to another Rom's .zip file which im not sure if that works lol or you can add them to your sd card.. im sure there's other ways too...
The old audio resources can be found here: http://n0rp.chemlab.org/android/
And there is an AOSP media pack on the FBL post: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=929678 ("AOSP media")
Thanks AdamPI. I was ripping my hair out looking for something that would open the nbh files. I really appreciate your help!

Woow, this problem never happened to me, but anyway ...
Make sure the ROM is in the following way sdcard / xrecovery / backup / "ROM NAME"<- this folder should contain IMG files, may NOT have another folder, just IMG files!
If this does not work try downloading BusyBox from Market, which hopefully your problem.
Thx man i solved my problem...o had the rom folder in another folder...so thx

3. extract libDioDictEngineNative.so.zip n copy paste it in system/lib
4. set permissions as given in sceenshot..
5. now extract apk.zip n install the .apk
And you have done, You can use stock dictionary app..
Guyz, Do anyone know, how to link dictionary.apk to the file of it on sdcard...?
Plz frnds, help..
Pls use search function you will get all the details you want. You need a "libDioDictNativeEngine.so" file in your "/system/lib" folder to get it working.
