Did you try rooting via the method here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=906248
yes, but changing zip into apk gives me a parcing error and unzip it give me all files which i have no clue where to put them (i have a mac and see .exe files so rooting through a computer is not an option)...as i said before, I am better in graphics than in this kind of work....any help will be appreciated, in the other topic I only found "yes it is working" Okay, that makes me officially a noob, but anyway....
Is there anyone who has the apk for this??

It's not meant to be an apk that you install onto the phone.
(1) Download the file onto your PC and unzip it.
(2) Enable USB Debugging mode on your phone.
(3) Connect the phone to your PC.
(4) Click on the "SuperOneClick" file in the unzipped folder.
(5) Click on the "Root" button.
(6) Wait until it says that root is successful.
(7) Unplug your phone from the PC and manually reboot it.
(8) Your phone is unrooted!
thanks, I will get a laptop from my work this evening and try.
So (yes I am a noob) should I downloading this file on the phone or on the computer??

You should be downloading it to a PC and running it from there.
Oh, I forgot to add that you need to reboot your phone manually before it is detected to be rooted.

Hi there,
I m thinking of deodexing stock 351 rom. i did apps and framework successfully and flashed them back via zip but after that m stuck on bootloops.
Please someone helpout. i wana learn not go back via nandroid:]
Best way to do this is to download the htc desire kitchen rom maker. It has great options to deox and zip align as well as make a cwm flashable rom....
I tried to do this manually and always ran into issues, with the downloadedable kitchen it works everytime.

LOL, agreed! The thread may however provide some answers the the issues that were encountered.
You do plan to Cook it afterwards right? You aren't just DeOdexing for the sake of DeOdexing? From what I've read there is basically no point to it unless you intend to create your own ROM based on the DeOdexed one. It probably won't hurt anything in a way that you'll notice, but it won't improve anything either.

if you're flashing frameworks you need to make sure the old ones are deleted first and that the correct permissions are set on the files.
I've no idea what you're trying to do with the zips, there's so little information in this thread to actually point out what you've tried to do so far..
if you just want to replace frameworks with deodexed ones (why? odexing is a way of speeding things up, unless you want to try theming) then you also should be deodexing the system/apps as well, and clearing dalvik-cache.
"Apk files have respective odexes that devs use to supposedly save space. Deodexing means you convert it back to a .dex file and put it back inside the apk. This allows you to easily replace files (not having to worry about odexes), but the main point was to deodex services.jar so that you can change all text to different colors (such as the clock color to white) and to deodex services.jar, you need to deodex everything. "
There are huge amounts of tutorials online about deodexing roms if you really want to do it.
if you're using windows then there's a fairly good tool called AutoDEOTool (v 1.02 works fine) but you still need to read the instructions.
I deoxed and zip aligned and I have noticed a differences in speed

Hi all, I know that this is not a question related to Sexynogen Rom, but I hope you could help me.
The problem is: I need to create an init.d script that erase the entire content of a folder on boot of the phone so I'll explain you what I did... Maybe someone can explain me where I'm wrong.
I've created a .sh file with this simple string
Code:
rm -rf /sdcard/splitter/*
I've called this file elimina.sh and put it inside /data/ with 777 permissions (rwx-rwx-rwx)
So I've created a file with no extension with this lines
Code:
#!/system/bin/sh
run_program("/data/elimina.sh", "");
I've put it inside init.d folder with rwx-rx-rx permissions but when I restart the phone, the files inside the folder are still there.
What am I missing?
Thanks in advance

Thank you very much for your interest in my stupid vicissitude.
I've solved with Script Manager from Play Store, but I'll try to explain you what was my problem.
I've installed an app that create an unnecessary folder that grew size at each utilization of it, so, to avoid that this folder became too big (and my /sdcard/ became full), I've tought that maybe with an init.d script I should delete all the files inside this folder on boot.
So I tried to write a simple script but it doesn't work, so I've decided to use Script Manager (like @ktulu84 suggested to me).
If you can help me so I have not to use Script Manager it would be great, otherwise I'll continue to use that app.

I found it at your main thread of sexynogen
battery life is not rom dependent. memorize it.
if someone calling himself romdev done his job right battery life will be = stock firmware.
if he screwed up it will bee draining, lagging, restarting and so on.
nothing can be done aside of not using data connection/wifi setting brighteness to low and cpu to consrvative and downlclocking it.
but that could be done on stock firmware also, like such with no firmware alteration, standby drain
