I need a new music player that recognizes and plays wma files like the stock samsung one because I am using trigger redux and cm7's **** player won't recognize a bunch of my albums.

Cyanogen mod has google apps as a sesperate zip. Might be a good place to start looking

CM Gapps usually leaves it out because you can find it on the market. The maps itself is roughly 6.8MB.
I honestly don't know why you can't just get it from the market.

True... I just thought that the maps apk was different for the nexus. i am running 2.3.3 on my sgs 4g... But no 3d rendering in maps, like in the nexus. i wonder if the market gives ur devices a different apk...

Thanks. I've been wondering how to upload files to xda directly from my phone. I hadn't thought of going through dropbox.

Yes.
My tablet, which is perfectly capable of running Google Maps and is doing so just fine with a previous version, absolutely refuses to find that Maps even exists in the Market.
At the link above, the Market won't install to my tablet because it thinks it's incompatible.
Our Nexus S's will find and install nearly anything in the Market with the exception of some tablet-only or other highly hardware-specific apps. That's far from the case with many other devices. Some devices have to be hacked just to access the Market at all.
Im running viper rom frozen an I can't use the viper store it force closes on everything. Any help would be appreciated.

Anyway if we had tv out and reliable bluetooth it would be a GIANT PARTY!!!! Bouncers would be needed to keep everything straight as everyone would be partying

This still might be possible at my job we have a microusb to hdmi converter, though it says its for htc phone I can check and see if it'll work for samsung because it works for some htc phones without a tv out option

As far as I know, yes. No hope. There was someone trying to port it but that project has been dead for a long time now.
I gave up on tv out. My resolution I put a pc in my bedroom by my tv. Got a s video to yellow rca cable adapter then plug that into older tv and I use my epic to turn on pc, browse to network drive (cuz movies are stored on my server) then opens and plays movie in vlc which I use my phone to stop,pause, play, change volume or whatev. Then when movie done I turn off pc with my phone. Unified remote app IS FN AWESOME. There are all different kinds of remotes all in this one app. From phone I can launch internet explorer window then use the phone screen as a mouse and keyboard. I can also launch pandora on the pc and have controls on the phone screen. The options are endless its great

+1, select a section that you like and this preference can go on and on, cos season change people change.
Use a program example Audacity to trim and review your edit.
You can then save it to OGG too if MP3 licensing is an issue in your system.
Upon done, transfer to your phone, /media/audio/notifications
try zedge
