After installing miui.us 1.7.22 the sd card won't mount to the phone. And after going to the backup of stock ROM the phone starts up saying sd card unexpectedly removed. And even after doing a factory reset and wiping both cache the problem still persists.
Can anyone help me?

Well, if removing it and replacing it while booted into the rom doesnt work,
and neither did a full wipe, I would say you could try a different rom, to see if you get that same problem, and if you dont, then you know its the ROM. I would also try reflashing.
If no one else has had this issue, then it could just be something you did
So it ended up being the sd card itself. After reformsting the card it worked. Thanks though

I went to update the BOYPCC rom and went into clockwork recovery and update zip but there are no zips showing.
There are 4 zips on the card and none of them can be seen.
I did a google search and found one that said backup the card format then reinstall everything but that didn't work I also tried reinstalling clockwork but that didn't work.
Anyone had this problem and solved it?
Sometimes when you have alot of crap on your sd card, it won't show your .zip file when u scroll down. Try scrolling up instead, its happened to me before and that worked.

I formatted the card and only had that ZIP on there and it still came up no files found
The zip file is likely not correctly zipped or incomplete. Try and download the zip again then put it on your card. Is the phone recognizing your card?

I tried BOYPCC rom before, and went to [SD] RAFDROID HD 4.2|Fastest Full DesHD [MAGDLR/WINMO][K: Rafp 1.9 OC]
you need to place those zip files into the root.
not where else but the root else it can't be seen.
They are in the root, even the one I used to last update the phone via clockwork can't be seen.
The phone is recognising the card as it is showing the folders on it.
You might want to try re-flashing cwm, or try a different version of it. Thats really the only other thing I can think of at this point

Hi! Don't know if this is the right section but i really need some help here, or imma throw my hone out the window. Yesterday my phone started saying my SD card was damaged, so i replaced it, and it worked fine, until today. my new card is broken.
So i can't use my backup since my sdcard dosen't work. I've tryed connecting the SDcard directly to my pc, and mount it through recovery. It just says Error mounting SDcard.
I can't install a new RUU.
What the hell should i do?! im getting some panic now.
Please help
Thx in advance
p.s the phone is a HTC Wildfire, and i've used CM7 since 1-1½ months back.
Edit: i have tried to wipe everything, such as dalvik and doing a factory reset, and still nothing.
Is it a cheap one off ebay

i know you said that you tried "directly" connect your sdcard to your computer but was the card still in the phone? if it was then take it out and actually throw it into a computer either through an adapter or slot and format it
My HTC desire hd reboots as soon as the screen times out automatically or when the power button is pressed.
my phone is rooted and this happens on the stock rom and every other rom that i have tried including cm7, arhd, miui etc.
the phone wont reboot if music is playing and the screen is off.
i have tried cpu awake apps which dont work. overclocking, undervolting, changing radios but nothing seems to work.
please help!
Since you change radios I'm assuming you know how to do a manual full wipe without using scripts.
4ext or cwm?
Try to reproduce the behaviour without the sd card.

I flashed radios where you just have to flash those zip files and that's it. I don't know how to do a full wipe without scripts. Can you guide me please?
And I have 4ext.
And thanks a lot for replying. I really appreciate it. Thanks.

It could be harware related, but let's first rule out software.
Remember to try without the sd card and/or wipe the sd card.
Try it with a stable gb rom.

Would you like me to clear dalvic cache, clear stats and format the system usb and flash a new Rom and format the SD card?

One last time.
When did it start happening? What did you do when you first noticed the issue? Which was the last rom it worked without any issues?
1- download a new rom.
2- full wipe (except sd card) (its in the guide how to full wipe)
3- flash.
4- test.
Doesn't work?
1- try it without the sd card.
Doesn't work?
1- backup your sd card.
2- full wipe including sd card.
3- mount sd card to pc to transfer the rom (and only the rom) from pc to sd card.
4- flash rom.
Doesn't work?
Come back and report what you did, and all that nifty stuff.

Ok thanks, I will try all this and report back soon.

Hi, I've been having problems since flashing a custom rom which is kitkat. When wiping and restoring I get an error along the lines of "android secure file missing" and something to do with am external SD card not being detected even though I've never had one on this phone.
When I try and flash a new Rom, I wipe everything and flash. Everything appears to be successful and then I reboot and it just stays on the boot screen.
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks
