Hey guys,
Any thoughts on the following problem:
My european HTC P3600 wont pair with either my MacBook or MacPro running MissingSync version 4...
I`ve tried both with USB cable and Bluetooth... the only thing left is to use some tinfoil between the phone and the freakin` power outlet of my two macs...
If anyone has ANY thoughts surrounding this strange lapse of communication between these two really great products, I would love to hear them. Expriences, tricks and encouragement is greatly appreciated!
Thanks and have a great night!

p.s. Just some technical info for those who wonder: Running OS X tiger now... the phone was usually synced up with a Windows XP workstation via ActiveSync, and has not been tampered with after the jump over to a new MacPro workstation. Therefore an idea would maybe be to reinstall the os on the phone? Maybe? Anyways.
Same here, unable to sync between Trinity and Mac using missing sync. Try PocketMac Pro because of their promotion. But only with intermittent success.
Most of the time unable to find the device.
Is the option in "Start>Settings>Connections>USB to PC" marked as enable (advanced network functionality)??
If yes, disable and try again.
M.a.s - Thank You!!
That cleared it ALL up! Thank you so much!! Have a great weekend!

Glad to know..
Great weekend for you too!
Hi,
Windows 7 seems to recognise the Dell is there however, I installed the PC Suite from the Dell website (I even tried the one on the phone) and when I open this application while the dell is connected it says 'disconnected'....
Any ideas?
Other than that, I am loving the Streak

Hi folks...new guy here and happy to be amongst you.
My U8800 X5 was accessing the net through a USB cable to an Acer Aspire 4920 (on WIN7 Ultimate SP1) OK but now just wont do it.
Can you give me a checklist to work out how to get back on line.
Since installing Gingerbread 2.3.5 I have not been able to get online through wi-fi or bluetooth but USB was OK. All i want at the moment is to get online with a USB cable to the laptop.
Any advice is welcome.
Thx
Hi,
Is there a way for me to share my Note 3 screen with a Dell Laptop over USB or WiFi?
Thanks!

so I bought a new dell xps 15, out of the box with windows 8.1, and it refuses to connect to the computer with USB or Bluetooth...when I connect via USB, it beeps like its connecting, but never connects, its just beeps and beeps and beeps...ive installed the Samsung drivers, which wasn't necessary on my 6 year old inspiron, and ive disabled firewall...ive had dell techs scratching their heads....whats worse...I go to best buy last week where I bought the phone, I walk up to the laptop table, with my phone and usb cable, and connect my phone to an Asus without problems...no driver install, nothing...laptop immediately recognized my phone
im sorta pissed...can you smarter than dell people please help me...?

Uninstall any samsung drivers (including Kies application).
Reboot.
Then re-install the drivers 'As administrator'
You might have to disable 'driver signature enforcement'. Here's a good article.

Thank you! But do you find it odd that my brand new machine doesn't play nice with what I would consider a brand new phone? I mean, its 2013 for petes sake, not 1995. Thoughts?

Don't find it odd at all.
Happens all the time.
Sometimes it because you've got a bad USB cable (either for charging only or old). Somtimes driver's not installed correctly as I mentioned. Sometimes it's a bad usb port on the PC. etc.

i find it odd. all other components requiring usb cables (bike computer, cd burner) work on all other ports. this phone works using same usb cable on other 8.1 machines tested at best buy...etc.
