lägg filerna på ditt SD-kort genom usb-kabel till datorn. Du måste ha .apk-filen för att kunna installera emulatorn. PSX heter "FPse.apk". Sen går du in via telefonen och klickar på .apk filen för att installera, sen är de klart Annars är de bara söka på youtube: how to get FPse on your android phone
so no need for bootload or root to play emulators?

No, emulators are just apps so no need for root or an unlocked bootloader. Go to SlideME Yongzh's emulators and either download the slideme app (SAM 4.3) then search yongzh in the SAM market app and install them onto your phone.
Or download the emulator .apks off SlideME and put them on your sd. Use something like Astro File Manager to navigate to the .apks on your sd card then just open them up and install them. Make sure unknown sources is ticked in your menu. Settings > Applications > Tick the unknown sources box.
Put the game roms on your sd card then once the emulators are installed open the emulator you want to play and navigate to the roms on your sd card.
is there anyway i can get astro onto phone and install it without the market? currently not wifi on it and kinda expensive to use 3g

Yes you will need the .apk for astro but first I have to ask does your phone come with a file manager? Because you will need some sort of file manager to first open up astro. Check if you can go to a Mcdonalds or a library or Starbucks they have free wifi.
ah thanks for all the help. will go to library and dl astro first thing in the mornin
again thanks for all the good and quick help

The Facebook site is better than any application !
Not the mobile one (m.facebook.com), but this one: http://touch.facebook.com/?w2m#home.php
I LOVE the new startup screen with the six big icons ! very nice !!
I'm probably being dim, but where does it tell me if I have a new message?

I totally agree with you. I don't understand how it is possible that an app couldnt be better than a website...
Because we have a lot of really skillful developers using Android and Facebook...
my hero is from denmark ans when i click on facebook for android i get the 1.01 app????
The advantage of an app is the ability to have notifications, a web site would not be able to do this.

But I can't see if I have a new message?
Well of course the application needs to have a notifications feature in order to provide notifications
If it doesn't then it may not be any better than the web site... which is the debate here I guess
This is still not out on Market yet... will it be released for download on Market?
Eventually.
Hi guy, we're the Androidblog.it staff, and we created a useful tool that allows you to to move your apps to your SDcard.
This tool does not require ROOT permissions, but need Android Froyo 2.2.
You only have to install the USB drivers (adb), enable debug mode, and connect your phone to PC...EASY!
This tool will show you two options:
1- Apply App2SD - Patch (Applica App2SD – Patch)
2- Restore defaults (Ripristina impostazioni di default)
"Now available also the English Version!"
To apply the patch you only need to select the first option, the second if you want to remove it.
TOO EASY!
Thanks to KuroAndroid and to Murder for the betatesting, and to Ivan Boscacci for the inspiration.
YOU CAN FIND THE LINK FOR DOWNLOAD THE TOOL HERE IN THE ORIGINAL POST.
I hope you'll enjoy it!
Recall that the Tools created by Andrew (AndroidBlog.it STAFF) is owned by AndroidBlog.it ...if you want to use it on your blog we would appreciate if you will quote the link to our site. Thanks

is there any risk to the apps that get moved from the phone to the SD card?
I can't download without registering, and how am i suppossed to register on a site thats in italian?
Scroll down the page and locate any post with the button "Fare il login per replicare". Click on this and you should be able to login and then download the app.
this is really nice... so far with N1.
Thanks guys!
Sorry but I can't see how to register. I've tried loging in with my twitter account but I cannot get the file. Any clue or alternative?
I have used this and it does work, however programmes that came on your phones stock rom (i am using orange 2.2 froyo) you cannot move to the sd card, for example google maps and facebook. Also i tried downloading adobe air earlier and this is 10+mb's and although it said it was on the sd card it wasn't. Could this be because it is a sytem app or is there another reason?
Cheers
how this work?
Nice work pal! works on my HTC Desire running 2.2 Froyo. Non-rooted. Quick question, how the hell does it work? does it trick it into thinking its possible to move the app to SD card?

The only ones I havent been able to move it with are the system applications, or the ones that came standard on the phone, but all the ones I have downloaded from the Market, all of them are movable now, I have about 30-40 apps/games installed.
hello, just rooted my phone, can anyone recommend some root only apps, they are finding useful, please would most appreciate it.

thanks will have a look, why havent you rooted yet, quiet a few options now to root, had mine done in under 2 minutes, and yet am terrible when it comes to rooting.
titanium backup (can remove some useless stock apps: PostCard, Chinse Keybord, BBC playr ...; freezes some apps that you dont use: SE sync, TimeScape ..., and move apps to sd: XP games other than the stock one, FPSE ...)
busybox
adFree
sd speed increase (it really works!!)
To ad some more:
Screenshot apps.
Fontchanger.
Root explorer (filemanager).
Terminal emulater (changing/overwriting/modding/moving files in /system/).
Widget locker (does work without root, but gives you an option to work better with root permission).
Metamorph (don't know if it works on the XP or without unlocked bootloader).
Regards Dousan...

If you root you can delete a lot of standard installed apps, removing them safes battery life significantly in my experience.

Ok so I posted this in the Q&A a few days ago and haven't gotten a single response. Do here it is again
I am porting the native Play ps1 emulator to my LG esteem. They both share the same exact chipset so the esteem can run it. I currently have been working on a few things and found the file that calls on the ps certificate buried in all PlayStation certified devises. Now my problem is that I font own an xperia play so I font know where to put or get this certificate. Can any one direct me to or provide me with a current system image that is extractable so I can browse it on my Pc.
I will except any and all help that is relevant.
I have two esteems to test on.

Maybe this will help.

Damn good help you both have provided, I found and extracted the files and I have most of them.
These are the four files I have scoured the Web for and simply cannot find.

Com.Sony Ericsson.Android.Xperiaplay Certified.xml
PlayStationCertified.jar
XperiaplayCertified.jar
Could someone point me to them or email me?

Good luck with this. R800 users on CM can't even get this installed.
I definitely will be telling everyone interested. by the way what is the semcsuite.apk for? Maybe if I know a little more about it I could figure out a little more.
ro.product-res-path-framework/semcgenericuxpRes.apk
Anybody know what that is? Man I hate being a noob.
Okay forget tho, I have been swapping files, adding permissions, replacing .jars, I have done about 15 backup and restored. I think I need some sleep. Does anyone know how to modify an apk? When I wake up IM going to extract the semcsuite apk and scoured it's programming for whatever only allows it to install on Sony devices, anyone done this already?
Hi!
First of all - thanks for everyones hard work and contribution to the windows phone platform! I havent tried unlocking my device before but figured it was no point in waiting for samsung anymore. And if the device gets bricked - it would be a good reason to buy a W8 device
Anyway. I flashed the "WP7.8_7.10.8858.13 6_NT_18L_V1_by_ansar" and everything seems to work fantastic!
So. What to do now? I would like to try and sideload apps and all that..But Im not sure where to look or what kind of xap-installer to use or anyting. If homebrew works or... Also, it would be cool to test the Nokia apps - I understand it is possible to change the "device name" with a registry editor app?
I would be thrilled if someone could point me in the best direction to be able to discover and.....re-imagine
Peace out!
Search Google/the forums man!
I'll point you in the right direction though.
Google "Bazaar" which is a homebrew app marketplace. On XDA if you see a .XAP (WP7 app) attachment you can "Click for QR code" then if you go to Bing search on your phone, click vision and point it at your computer screen, the app will download to your phone thanks to the custom ROM you've installed.
Registry editors etc are available on Bazaar.
Some Nokia apps are available in the WP7 Development & Hacking - Apps & Games section of XDA.

Do i understan correctly the rom is deliberately locked and that I need root tools to unlock?
Tried to install apps from bazaar - but it claims my device isnt fully unlocked. Do I need to start with bazaar for PC to be able to install root tools and then give permission to bazaar? Because I installed root tools - but it also demands unlocking.

See if there is a program installed called Root Manager. This is basically the permissions app, go into it and toggle Bazaar and any other apps you install to allow them to have root access, which they need.

Not sure I understand you correctly..Do you mean a required version to be able to flash from? You need to flash the MAGLDR so I dont think it will matter wich version you have, pre-flash.
