Hi,
is it normal I don't find any native tethering options in settings ?
Only Usb tether is showed (which was already available in Donut)
Shouldn't Froyo support wifi/bt tether ?
I'm using
[ROM] Latest Froyo AOSP for Tattoo v0.46 released (FMRadio autoscan support)
and it works great.
Thank you
dumb question ?
No one had an answer on that ?
Maybe I should upgrade to 2.3 ?
Thanks to anyone
teter support only 2.3
Thanks

Hi mates!
I was wondering if this new Sony Ericsson gadget would work on Nexus One froyo builds for HD2 (it is said to be compatible with Nexus Ones on SE Site).
Did anybody try?
Thanx, regards
Yes!
Ok I will replay to myself :
YES!
Even the remote control fo music player feature
I encounter the same problems as other native Android users, some deconnections (certainly due to unmature product/software)
(HD2 European version - Radio 2.15 - Android build JDMS 1.5 - Froyo 2.2.1 (No Sense - CM - DeFrost-6.0a) - Kernel : michyprima #159)
See ya!
Hey can you test with a Sense build?
I would apreciate your help
Hi all, I have a question, the rom made by cyanomod based on gingerbread is awesome but there aren't an fmradio app.
fmmodule appear disable, in a next release it will be functionally?
thanks sorry for my english
FM radio on Tattoo is not supported. There is no custom ROM based on Android 2.x with FM radio functionality. The only possibility is to stay with the stock ROM (on Android 1.6) but this is not your case.
The same with Camera app which is not fully working as well. We have a solution which is nearlly finished but still there is missing functionality (Picture preview).
Somebody was working on it (pisaro), but the thread is not in the devs forum...so no many people can help, but he did a great progress.

Does anyone know if the HD2 can support Google's Open Accessory Mode?
I've put CyanogenMod 7 on it, (Android 2.3.5), so it should have the OS tools to connect out.
Has anyone had a bash at connecting their HD2 to an arduino yet?

No, it needs kernel support, a updated ROM is not enough.

Thanks for that. You've saved me a great deal of (frustrating) time. Is it worth updating the rom? Or should I just track down a good alternative for OA development?

hi, i'm actually using a rom 2.3.7 with your 2.6.32 kernel it works flawless.
i flash other rom with 2.6.35 to test my arduino ADK but it doesn't seems to work.
can you.. as a kernel developer make some special kernel to get the arduino adk working on the hd2? i've tried some roms with 2.6.35 kernel but still have no success on them..
i know almost all hd2 are based on nexus or so.. and those phones support ADK.
thank you very much...

Hi, what exactly Rom and kernel that working for you ?
can you provide me the links to the kernel and the Rom.
I having problem connection my HD2 to Arduino.
Good
As the title says I have tried many rom on my htc hd2 NAND but I could not make work the wireless router or far from the native third party applications.
I also use the android rom SD and savings if I could use the wifi router with wifi teather.
Now I've tried many rom NAND and I could not make it work I have tested with various kernel and I have not been able to solve the problem.
¨
They could take a hand with my problem?

Which ROM are you using? Many sense 3 and 3.5 ROMs have issues with wifi hotspot

hello
thanks for replying if I want to sense rom 3.0 or 3.5
but I tried with several roms including:
- Desire HD 3.06.405.1 - Sense Android 3.0-2.3.5 [v1.4.1)
- MwakiousRUNNINGrom ® REBUILD1.2
- Runny RCMix3D v4.0 [Official Runnymede Sense 3.5]
- Energy ™ -.¸¸.·'¯ Sense 3.0 Desire
I also tried several kernel to try to resolve the problem but I have not succeeded.
But now my question if multiple sense rom have that problem I use this: SS V7.0 Transformer MccMBoxmaX Android 2.3.3
So far I have not had problems since using wifi teather and it's going great.
So I decided to use a NAND ROM?
regards
Like I said many sense 3 ROM's have a problem with native wifi tethering and a select few of them work with third party applications such as barnicle or wifi tethering(open garden)
know which rom works with wifi teather sense?
regards

Try this:
1) When "pair but not connected" press it and keep pressing until pops up option "unpair"
2) select "Unpair"
3)select "Pair with this device" and follow instruction. I'm always asked to enter PIN number on the keyboard.
The keyboard won't work because those roms are lacking the Bluetooth HID driver. I know that on the Verizon and Sprint tabs, the carriers had the Bluetooth HID drivers removed. I'm not sure about the base on which Overcome is built, but the functionality you described is usually reproduced by a device lacking the bluetooth HID. This functionality is built in to Android 3.x and above, so that's why it works in 4.0.
