I managed to install floyo1.0 rom on my x8, it runs almost perfecly but I cant use Swiftkey X because everytime I open it the app crashes, so far im using the HTC_IME keyboard that comes with the rom, its not bad but i think swiftkey better.
Also having problem with google maps app, sometimes I got a crash messenge but aparently the app does not really crashes. Its just annoying because even if the app is not open sometimes I got the messenge.

today new floyo 1.0 released (update) maybe it will fix your bugs.if not,try to boot into recovery and try full wipe
Tried the update and full wipe, It didnt work. Any ideas?

Hi there,
I'm looking for the Swype keyboard for the HTC Legend. I'm currently running a Froyo Rom. I tried one from this website, which didn't work so well, I don't know if it was me or the application because when I opened it, it told me that my trial period expired and that I should upgrade my Swype keyboard application. When I tried using Swype, it would show the line going across but it just wouldn't do anything when I go through the letters, I can only tap on the letters, which would be useless because I would just go back to the normal input method. Any tips? Ideas? Or links to a good Swype Keyboard? The one I tried using but didn't work was:

I have that problem as well ever since the latest version of Swype and after I upgraded to Froyo. Not sure whose fault is it. I switched to Gingerbread keyboard since.

you can try to register on swype beta site, and get a newer version of swype. i'm using it, and it work like a charm.
I'mm using Swype since about 3 month. I registered to the beta-program, a friend of mine registered last week and got his version about an hour later. I'm using cyanogenmod 6.1 (Froyo) and swype works like a charm. I also tried cynogenmod 7 (Gingerbread), but there swype closes always.
Get rid of d/l links, or a MOD will. I won't report it, I'm just warning you. On XDA this is seen as warez, and Swype has asked that all download links are removed from here, and all other forums. This sucks, I know. Apply to beta test and hope.

I'm on Blayo's ROM, 0.5. I've been trying the app in the market with no success. The app keeps getting FC as soon as I touch the keyboard.

I think that is the case if you install swype on sd.
Try to move the app to your phone.

i do have it installed to my internal memory
I am having the same problem, but I'm using data2ext on balyo's b05 rom.I solve this problem by switching input method to touch input and then back to swype.swype is back to normal.

I am using swype on my legend, every reboot you need to long press in a text box and select the android keyboard, then doit again and select swipe, its a known bug. From what i understand it is a problem with timing. Hope this helps.

I was using Swype on Froyo (CyanogenMOD 6.1) without problems. With Gingerbread (CyanogenMOD 7 experimental builds) I had some trouble, as the Swype-keyboard disapeared immediately. After uninstalling Swype and reinstalling it via Swype-Installer everything works again as it should.

Try to uninstal the update from settings! I have that option.

Sometimes it crashes my browser, also it wont report that 10.2 is installed when I check adobe's support site it says that I have 10.1.92 installed.
Tried reboots, reinstalling it etc...
I got that too, the comments in the Market show the same. Most users are fine though.
I got a Froyo Sense rom running, & 480p in youtube is running perfectly in Miren browser. Before it used to jerk every 10-15 seconds.
ive uninstalled the latest flash back to 10.1 but now flash pages dont load
Try uninstalling again, reboot, and install from the .apk again.

I also have some issues with flashplayer.. even with 10.1. When i watch a video in the browser (480p) it works fine for the first time (no lags, cpu is at about 80% @1ghz), but when i restart my browser it starts to lag like hell... even on 1.8ghz and only 360p(dunno the exact pixels)
Any sollution for that?
Edit: tried revo hd 3.2, leedroid 2.2 and core droid 3.2. Did a fullwipe every time and always the same result. Also tried some kernels i had before. I knoe that it worked some days/weeks ago.
I've no clue what's going on here.

I am writing here in order to describe you my situation with my x8.
I had installed miniCM beta 2 and everything was OK but due to random reboots (apparently without reason, I had not ever used root apps), I had decided to reinstall 2.1 by SE, everything was OK untill I installed app2sd script for 2.1.1 through xRecovery my phone was OK but in market I cannot see in Downloads section any old apps (even if I can run them simply) but if I install them by market it recognises them and put them in the download list.
ps: i cannot download angrybirds (as well as miniCM)

There are a few market updates available that should fix this problem
The problem for random reboots maybe is for the overclocking, for the problem of the market i don't now, but if you wanna download angry birds you need format cache

Ok,i have the cm7 and my market upgraded to 3.2 itself.I like the new design but is REALLY slow for wildfire.Is there any way to have the new market in a light version for wildfire?
Nope sorry. Seems it works fine for some but terrible for others. Only way to get the speed back is to downgrade and disable/freeze the autoupdater.

sorry to thread jack but, the new market place its really annoying me atm i can't seem install Google Maps since it keeps saying there isn't enough space on the device but the thing is my wildfire has just been flashed with the newest CM 7.1.0.1 any ideas?
You can try one thing , install the app " Set DNS" and choose "open DNS"

As the title would suggest, I've recently noticed an issue with the Youtube app.
If I remove update and use the old version, it loads ok and I can play videos in the app. If I get an external app to launch it to play a video, it will FC.
When upgrading to the latest version the app will FC every time it is launched. I've cleared the data and cache from the app but it still does it.
Using stock rom 4.2.2 , rooted with xposed installed.
would "force" uninstalling the app and installing it from the store make a difference?

Youtube crashing here also
Yes this has started yesterday for me. Running CM11 M4. I have wiped and tried the M3, same issue. Tried a different version of gapps that includes youtube as a system app, same issue. Back to a clean install of the CM11 M4 and the app crashes every time within one second of opening it. I'm out of options. Youtube works in a browser, but I cannot use the app.
Thank God it's not just me then. I guess we will have to wait for another update. The app is a POS anyway.
