Is there any way , when batch restoring apps, to auto install them instead of having to manually select "install" and "done" for each and every app when the batch install is in progress?
Buy the paid version and it will batch install all apps you select.
Yep, buy the paid version and it'll auto install apps and has the market doctor for fixing broken market links.
I didn't use Titanium until about a month ago. I've had my phone a year and was just amazed at what I've been wasting my time and data allowance on! No more redownloading apps for me! Also, no more losing my Angry B's save data! I bought the licence about a week ago and it's worth every penny, though £4.49 is still a bit steep. I know that's a contradiction, but yeah.
Yeah it's definitely worth it. Flash new ROM. Select the apps you want installing. Leave phone on table for 10 minutes. Job done
It's probably a bad thing really though. It's made it far too easy to flash ROMs so I became a flashaddict for a while

Me too, I seem to flashing a new one every day atm.
Paid version of TB definitely worth it. I would've bought it even if it were 2x its price.
Batch action (accessible from phone's Menu button) is only one of many features that'll save your time.
Good to know. Well worth paying for.
In fact, TB was one of the first apps I bought after getting myself a Desire . Never regretted the money.
I was flashing for months and redownloading. Bought the paid version and it's definitely worth it, saves so much time.

Just curious....how much are you spending on apps a month, and what is it that motivates you to buy?
I dont buy many apps, but having a demo version of a app usually causes me to want the full app after using the demo... if it meets my needs. I recently bought better keyboard for $4 and KEPT it, but removed swiftkey and got a refund..
And I already know you can get a refund the first 24hrs ... I am asking people who BUY AND KEEP apps, not those who RENT THEM for 24 hours..
Aloha from beautiful Hawaii
I have bought more than a few. My only that I would call expensive purchases was sling player and logmein ($30) I had more than a few palm and window mobile devices, and I can't remember all the $15-30 apps I bought, alot though. the apps are so cheap, it's baffling when I see ppl complaining about buying android apps. A dollar or two mostly. Ringo pro cost me $24 on my treo running palm os, and on my touch pro, hit me for 4 bucks for the same app on android.
So far I've spent about $ 35 in apps since I had my G1. Roughly about 15 apps, most of then having to do with root stuff, like set cpu, cache cleaner, titanium backup. The others are a couple of games, a couple of task killers that I no longer use and a couple of utilities type apps.

I do as well but if there is an application I really like, I will go back and pay for it. If developers don't get paid for their efforts, they will stop developing.

90% of apps cost less that 5 bucks, support the devs. If there was no way to get them free, u would pay the few dollars
I've spent about $20 on 10 or so paid apps so far. Tons more free ones.

Are you confessing that you STEAL FROM DEVELOPERS by downloading hacked versions of apps?

All i am saying is that i like to try the app out and if i like it then i will buy it. And you cant get updates for hacked apps. So its useless to the user. Thats my opinion. We all should support are developers. They are the reason we all are using these smart phones.
I like testing out an app first to see if I like it enough to want to buy it. Case in point widgetlocker. I played with the full version that I got of the internet, really liked it, uninstalled the pirated version and went back and bought the legit copy from the market. That way I know I'll get the upgrades as time goes by too. Other ones I paid and didn't use anymore... Well, if I need them again, they'll be there.
The majority if the apps are under $ 5 anyway. That's cheaper than getting lunch nowadays.
the only one I have actually bought from the market was Beautiful Widgets, but I have "bought" quite a few apps not sure on the amount because it depends on how much I use/need and app. I have gotten a bunch for free from the developers here on xda like SetCPU, ROM Manager ect however I have ended up donating to the dev of all the free ones I have got here.
I bought about $50 worth of apps and barely use any. Mostly use free ones. I stay away from anything that cost more then ten bucks though, I'm not that rich
I did buy at least 5 apps only to support the des (Stericson,Anderwebs, others) but I don't even use those.

I find buying the apps to be most rewarding. Not only do you get the updates and you're supporting the devs but with this "goggle account" thing (I'm new to android phones)
I find that even after a wipe and clean install of a new rom if I give the phone a few minutes all the apps I bought and d/led off the market reinstall themselves.
Well..at least that's what I've noticed.
I found this great article on the Android Central forums and thought this may be useful.

Hmmm, I don't think the advice in that article/post is all that great. He's basically saying to restore most things by going to the market and individually re-downloading each app (unless you need saved data). That's wonderful if you flash one ROM a month, but I don't think you'll find yourself testing out many different ROMs and updating to different versions if you have to spend 2 hours re-installing all you apps each time (he even suggests hunting down non-market apps like your bank ones from the original websites). Definitely not for me.

His theory is correct because you won't be pulling in bad data creating force closes but in reality it is not practical. I agree, this is more for the one ROM a month or two kind of person. If you settle on a ROM for a long term this is good practice to keep the system fresh.
So I've searched and everyone seems to say that the OTA updates are stored in the cache folder. I've looked there and don't see it (there's nothing at all in the cache folder).
I've been on Froyo with Syndicate Frozen ROM and am quite happy with things as they are. But my phone decided to automatically download the new update and it's been bugging me about installing it.
I've since blocked the SystemUpdate.apk and it doesn't bother me every 15 minutes like it used to, but when I reboot the phone it still tells me that it's been downloaded and is ready to install.
I don't suppose it's that big of a deal to just disregard the message on the rare occasion of a reboot, but still.. I'd like to delete the file from wherever it's been stored so it never bothers me about it again.
I'm using Adao File Manager if it matters. I'll try root explorer if I have to, but just don't like needlessly installing apps.
Thanks =)

I used Gemini App Manager (it's free in the market). You have to enable USB debugging for a while while you do this. Download it, open it, menu>Expert Mode, scroll down to system update, long press, block app.
You can do something similar with Titanium if you have it, but Gemini is free in the market.
Like I said, it hasn't been bugging me every 15 minutes like it used to, so this is decent solution for the time being, but every time I restart it bugs me about it again. I'd prefer to delete it so I don't have to worry about accidentally pressing okay.
I haven't actually blocked/frozen it yet, it takes me half a second to hit install later but I'm thinking about freezing it. And I get the feeling there may be a gb rom worth flashing in a few days (keeping an eye on you starsky for that theme =P).
EDIT: oh I heard the ota may also be in data/cache
EDIT 2.0: my update is sitting right in /cache
Apparently Adeo doesn't see the update. I installed Root Explorer, found and removed the update. Still pops up on every reboot. Very annoying. =\
I'm tempted to make a nandroid backup and press install just to see what happens.
Hey Ladies and Gents,
I've updated my Note3 to the latest Update and installed Scotts Clean Rom 1.5 and it ran great until I started restoring my apps. Once all apps were restored (from the Play store, not from my Titanium BU Archive) the phone started rebooting and was stuck in a loop, couldn't get it back to the homescreen. Googled and found that some folks say "Remove your SD card and turn off the constant Wi-Fi scanning" but that didn't help, so I wiped and re-installed the Rom....all was well...until I restored my Apps again. I don't know which App could be causing this, they're all from the Play Store and all of my apps are Paid Apps (Don't like Ads in my apps so I pay for them if they have a Pay App available). Just wiped again and haven't restored any apps, but rebooted the device myself about 5 times, everything works.
Have any of you ever seen this before? Most of my Apps are Camera and Photo Editing Apps. I'm not going to restore anything because I need my phone work work, so I'll only attach my Personal and Work E-mails to it, but that's not going to fly for long. Apparently the Boot-Looping issue is known http://www.sammobile.com/2013/10/17/some-galaxy-note-3-units-experiencing-boot-loops/
Any ideas ?
Thanks.

LOL...I'm an App-o-holic.
I just downloaded another ROM for the new update, and I'll load all of my apps with that to see if it's isolated by ROM's or Apps. It's a snowy wonderland outside, so there's nothing better to do than play with my phone and figure this out.
Ok....this is odd. I've tried a different ROM and installed ALL of my apps, no issues, no rebooting.....so one of my apps doesn't like to play with Scotts Clean Rom.....hmmmmm. Seeing how there are only two ROM's available that are for the new OTA update, I'm going to stick with this ROM and install Scotts into another slot and then go one by one, and see why/how/which app is not playing nice.
Please post any must have paid apps and also what you will be doing with your gift card.

Saving it until I need it. I usually use it to support devs for apps I use that I haven't already bought/donated to.
If you want you can buy a premium key for Titanium Backup as it'll be usefull for you in case you want to move from one device to another!
I've already bought all the premiums for the apps I use. I guess I'll sell it on ebay and make my tax back from the 6p.

I know titanium has been around forever but Is it safe to restore from one rom to the other... Will it cause issues with the system? If they are different. I always read do not restore data from titanium. I have always started fresh when romming. Even though its such a pain... I think I'll purchase some games that I probably wouldn't have purchased otherwise. And see what other apps people come up with

It's safe because you're not restoring a ROM, you're restoring individual apps.
It's always been recommended not to restore the data for those individual apps, though
I was thinking of getting nova launcher prime..

I will most likely be buying more USB C chargers.
I think I can use it to pay Google Music monthly subscription for next 5 months. If it doesn't work, then I can certainly use it for apps and stuff.
I will be using my credit to buy an extra home charger and a usb-c to usb-a converter so when needed I can connect my phone to a flash drive of some sort.

Are you 100% sure? When you go to check out from the "Google Store" (not app section) one of the drop down "Pay With" options is Google Play Balance. Unless the 50 bucks doesn't go into that same bucket of money, I am not sure how they would be able to tell what is my deposited money and their credit money.
