My atrix is now impressively fast and im consistently getting quadrant scores of 3500+. Im running ninja v 0.4.1 alpha with faux123s kernel OC'd at 1.1ghz. This makes me very glad I bought this phone! Anyone else getting scores quite like this?

Best performance out of 3 roms so far (Gbread, Cherryblur + this), same set up as OP!
Any initial battery life thoughts?
Well I have my battery manager set to performance so im going for straight speed but as of now battery isn't too bad. Im going to try it out tomorrow when I can get a full days use out of it and report my findings.

Sound great! As a reference I get quadrant score of 2500 with 2.2.3 tmobile on top of french 2.2.1 sbf...
What about temperature?

Temperature has remained very cool as of now. I'm going to run some stress tests and see how it performs but I also have profiles set up through setcpu to decrease the cpu speed to its minimum if the temperature gets to high.
how about the battery life and battery showing jumping issue?
Jug6ernaut fixed the battery issue in the development forum. The ninja ROM does alright. Slightly better than KP's beta 4.5 for me.

you all can do the same on all roms.....you only need to improve your ram with the optimization....I don't know now here is it xD....but search and apply
I am getting quadrant scores of about 3200 and smartbench of about 2950 running cherryblur v1.2 and loving it. Every GB rom seems to be much faster and better likely due to overclocking as well as GB performance tweaks.
As for battery life, it seems to be slightly better than what I had before, but no solid data for you. I am such a happy Atrix owner right now!

Do you have flash installed?
Also, what app do you use to check the linpack? [edit] nevermind. I found it.
33.614.
3.0.1 with flash installed.
36.14 when I uninstalled flash.
I know it's the same range, but it's strange how everything seems faster without flash installed. I've uninstalled and reinstalled it twice today to see if it made a difference, and I think I'm going to leave it uninstalled until next week.
Speaking of Linpack, how does the iPad2 score this:

Is that just an Android vs iOS thing?
First thing I did was unistall flash and then reboot....no good. Then I unintalled most of my apps, reboot, retest, same results. Using linpack app from market.

Does your Linpack score somehow have something to do with how your Xoom performs, real world?

True, but that cannot be the only thing at work here. I mean the iPad2 is scoring 5x better than the Xoom in linpack. I highly doubt that the hardware is 5x better than the Xoom, especially when the iPad2's CPU is only clocked at 900mhz.

Anandtech. I would trust their numbers over any other site I can think of. They are legit. You can go check out the numbers in their preview of the iPad2.

I thought id better make this thread so people can get together and share the best quadrant scores they've been able to achieve with there Samsung galaxy s2.
When you post your scores include the following;
1:The ROM you are currently Running Albeit stock or custom.
2:What kernel you have installed.
3:if over-clocked include the speed at which its running (Min and Max).
4.Any other types of tweaks and mods you have.
5: And the finally your score.
Apart from that it would be nice to include how the battery life is etc. and how you think its the best for the speediest ROM (I'll make a chart sometime down the line with the top 10 fastest galaxy s2 phone on XDA)
These Are My Results So far;
1: Lite'ning Rom v6.1 XXKH3
2: SiyahKernel v1.2 - Battery Freindly Version
3: Over-clocked to 1.6ghz (min 1.6 max 1.6) smartass v2
4: No other mods or tweaks.
Score = 4434 Best for me so far
Im currently using lite'ning ROM because it offers me a lag free performance experience, not to keen on the blue theme but will be changing it to green soon. and as for battery life i think its very good and only sips on the battery when not connected to wifi and just pottering around town listening to music and texting with the occasional use of google maps.
Quadrant scores don't mean **** for the Galaxy S II... I guess nobody will ever learn this? Anyways I got a 6969 one time.
Villain rom
Niphetamine 2.0.4 (2.1.3 in screenshot)
200mhz/1600mhz
Under-volted

Sorry but I've seen far too many of these threads. and they are all irrelephant as I am getting a quadrant score that is greater than your phone number.....
Therefore, I win.
Perhaps the Quadrant Utility tool for Benchmarking needs an upgrade - the screen size is too large yet the speed test (FPS) is hidden under the screen's bottom partly.
The note must be pretty quick!
Anyways - I scored a benchmark of 4013! This was achieved after ensuring that task manager had all apps exited and memory cleared.
Update: On my third benchmark in a row I got 4308. You may check my blogs later today as I upload all the performance images.
the note is pretty good. samsung did a good job of optimising the drivers, and the GPU is surprisingly more powerful than my atrix despite the higher resolution.
Quadrant doesn't need an upgrade - it needs throwing in the bin!
It's a deeply flawed benchmark that tells you pretty much nothing about the overall performance of your device.
Regards,
Dave
I got a score of 4600 using an Interactive governor on a kernel I rolled. This makes it awesomely faster than my paltry Nexus One . Shame Quadrant is pretty meaningless as a cross-device benchmark though....

Hey all,
Just wanted to show you how great the Nexus S is!! "img.tapatalk.com/5658d096-434f-704f.jpg" (just copy everything between " " to your toolbar) its running at a stunning 1.6gHz!!! It became a bit too overclocked sometimes, so I stepped back to 1.3gHz... not bad either, but still less. Show how far you can push your Nexus S (4G) in this thread by posting a screenshot that shows on how much gHz you Nexus S can run.
IF YOUR PHONE ISNT WORKING ANYMORE, BECAUSE YOU PUSHED IT TOO FAR. ITS YOUR OWN MISTAKE. IF YOU POINT AT ME BECAUSE YOU THINK ITS MY FAULT... I WILL BE LAUGHING AT YOU.

removed becasue CPU not score comparison
cpu speed isnt everything. after a certain cpu speed, benchmarks will start getting lower/worse. performance overall will become worse if the cpu speed is set to high. personally, my phones sweetspot is between 1.44 and 1.54ghz. above that, performance starts to drop.

are you lowering your FSB to achieve higher speeds? dont see overall system slowdown unless you are down clocking your FSB to achieve higher CPU speeds? i mean his CPU is allot higher than mine
IDK im more familiar with desktop CPU not mobile think i might get what you're saying maybe an overheat issue and downclcok for protection..idk

I agree.
And if your phone is getter hot. I'm very sure it is. Then you could be damaging it and that could greatly decrease the life spand of your internal components

very funny... tried to OC up to 1540Mhz... the phone start to vibrate (like a female friend) and freezed.... now rebooted... never play again with so high OC
Stock Kernel and Rom it looks, like the S4Pro is not far behind the 600? Just a little GPU enhancement - overclock and it would easily match the 22350 by the HTC One and not far behind Galaxy S4 either.

1st post on XDA and highest bench thus far.. well played sir
That inst mine I just saw it while I was looking at buying the phone awhile ago, I saw them as high as 22500 I think on AndroiAuthority or on a similar website. I get my Find 5 today and whatever, I'm going to push it to the limits every once in awhile, gaming benching etc. I want to do the same as I have my DNA. Mu CPU up to 1892 at 4 cores and 100 or 125 overclock GPU. I'm getting HTC One and close to the S4 Octa scores with it overclocked. These s4Pro's will go and they overclock well. On the CPU side I really don't see any reason to get much higher, I think most quad core phones now will run pretty much all the Apps that are out, But I would like to get the GPU up to where the Snapdragon 600 is running, I think the S4Pro is at 300 MHz and the 600 is clocked at 400MHz. So it shouldn't be to hard, they did it on the DNA pretty quick. Cant wait until DHL gets here, watch it will be like 6 0r 7pm. Oh well. I will just get all my Apps ready.
So do you guys have any tips before I start playing around with my OF5?
Please! No dead pixels or hardware faults
I'm getting just under 21k (20997) on stock ROM. I've seen Oppo Find 5's with 27k, so with the right tweaks this thing is a beast and just under the S4.
I got 22k with firefly and i think this is just awesome
