[Q] Audio queston re: mixer? - Acer Iconia A500

Fast question for all you awesome XDA people: I watch a lot of web based video via my a500 and have found a few sites that play just fine but at a very reduced volume level.
Are there any good apps out there that would allow some basic mixer controls (preamp would be great) that any of you can recommend?
Thank you in advance!

I have used a couple, but not having my A500 at the moment...
... go to the market and search for ( equalizer...sound mixer...audio mixer ) and see what you can find

Poor YouTube audio quality with HTC Streaming Media player

Has any one else experienced extremely poor audio quality with the HTC Streaming Media program on the Touch Dual? (Viewing vides from m.youtube.com)?
Using the HTC Streaming Media player on my Treo 750 the quality was decent but on the Touch Dual it is so poor that it is essentially not usable and I'm hoping that somebody knows 1) why and 2) how to fix it.
I've searched the forums and found plenty of information referencing watching YouTube on the phone but nothing that hits on my problem.
Thanks,
Bob
hi
try the diamond streaming player it has also bad quality but it feels like its better u can find it in the hack and dev section in the diamond apps thread
editr use the youtube player, it s slower at streaming but it has same video/audio quality as on pc! you can also find on this forum
Thanks, I'll give it a shot. I did try one of the YouTube players but for whatever reason it could never find any Videos (I didn't put alot of effort into figuring out why.)
Still would like to know why the audio quality with the default streaming player is so poor . . .
hi,
im currently using coreplayer 1.2.4 for youtube. the simply BEST player!!! i could send you cab if you want, you can set streaming options for high, medium and low quality. high works nice and smooth here! htc streaming player is worse quality because its streaming over RTSP. but coreplayer can also stream over h264, which has waayyyyy better quality

Audio Player Features

Hello,
I have been searching ... but I have had no luck finding an audio program that can do the following:
1) FAST audio playback (like TCPMP)
2) Bluetooth Control (PAUSE/PLAY, Forward, Backward (like windows Media Player)
3) Can continue to play with the SCREEN OFF (Like TCPMP)
Any Suggestions?
Thank you for your time

Mortplayer http://www.sto-helit.de/index.php?module=download&entry=mp_program&action=list
I highly recommend the cleanglass and darkglass skins http://www.sto-helit.de/downloads/pocketpc/mp-skins/
Thanks for suggesting mortplayer...
Settings are odd, but you get used to it after a bit.
I see that the display shuts off, and that the headset controls work, which is great!!!
However is there some sort of plugin that I need in order to change the playback speed?
I cant seem to find the setting.
oh and the darkglass skin is cool.
thanks again

Sorry, I misunderstood the "fast"request. The only other program that I'm aware of that will allow playback speed adjustment is Coreplayer, though it's not a feature that I would seek out myself. TCPMP was the beta/development tool for Core. Core has a much richer feature set compared to TCPMP. Core isn't free and in my way less than scientific study, it used about 2X the memory when playing audio files when compared to Mort. It's also a great all around video player with decent built in (no browser needed) youtube support.
Purchased Coreplayer V1.3.0 build 6213
Initially I had a heck of time with stability issues.
After at least 20 lockups, I found that everything became more stable if I just disabled anything that had to do with the internet / youtube / and the Library Functionality.
It is a bit of a hog.
....the Iconics are non-intuitive,
....in order to sort a playlist by filename you have to disable the library
But at least I can now do the (3) items I originally asked for.
Thanks for your help
qu1nn
I'm still using 1.2.1 and have no stability issues that I'm aware of. I'm going to upgrade later to see if I have similar issues. If Core was a little lighter on ram, I wouldn't bother with Mort at all.

You can actually enable the unattended play feature in WMP by changing the value of
\HKLM\Software\Microsoft\Media Player\Preferences\UnattendedPlayback
from (decimal) 0 to 1.
Now you just need a plugin to speed up playback so you can ditch CORE like I did (yes, they suckered me into paying for it too).
Hope that helped!

[Q] is there an Audio player for time-stretching on fast playback?

Does Android have an audio/mp3/video/etc player where I can fast-forword at normal tempo (aka time-stretching) without sounding like chipmunk? For example fast-playback in eBooks or news?
example: TCPMP on WM does fast-playback, but does not have an option to adjust tempo, so the faster you go, the more chipmunks you hear.
TheKMPlayer for the PC does this perfectly, i.e. I can play ebooks at 2x or 2.5x and still understand the speaker at normal Tone. I've yet to find an equivalent for the mobile phone. I've already searched and asked in the general development forum with no answers.
one would think being able to listen to an hour of ebook or news in only half an hour at normal pitch (time stretching) would be of interest to students/reporters/etc? If such a program does not exist for WinMo or Android, anyone know of such a program for other mobile OS's?
already searched the useless keywords: time stretching, normal pitch, tempo, audio player, video, mp3 ,etc
so either such an application does not exist, or nobody here is interested in listening to anything in half the time? which is it?

[Q] How can i stream audio from mac to xperia play?

hey guys
sorry for asking so many questions, but i was wondering if there is a way to stream audio from my mac to the xperia like on the iphone there is an app called airphones, which is so cool.
I searched on everywhere, found something called subsonic but does not work.
Any idea what a good app is out there to do that
try this one:
http://www.appbrain.com/app/org.mult.daap
There is also plex for android which is very awsome !
It streams music & video over wifi & your mobile internet !
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.plexapp.android
Perhaps this is usefull, says it supports Airplay (iTunes streaming)
http://market.android.com/details?id=com.pv.twonkyremote
Sent from my Nexus S using XDA App
when there is root you will be able to just use cifs manager.
I use air bubble to stream directly from latest itunes
why not stream directly from latest itunes. it works like air play same way your airport express works. and sound quality is acceptable, if not better...
just look at bottom right corner of itunes and select airplay or whatever name you gave this. you need to be connected to the same wifi network. works seamlessly.
Please give feedback on this app if you like it and any problems you encounter. just started using it today so can't give much feedback yet

Wow... No one even decided to say that they've used up all the codes (-_-)...
Anyways, I tried your free version on my Nexus 5 and it works pretty well! It does drain the battery a lot more than I thought it would though.
Anything with a 3d environment background is a drain on the phone battery (overheats it too)
I personally use vr players with no background or 3d surroundings. All you need is the video screen.
Hello sir,Expried codes..please share new...
Did you make this with Unity3d?
If so, could you add this https://github.com/m-tukiok/UnityPluginDisplay4k to it, please? Even if you have to make it into a different version of the app.
I'm willing to pay for the pro version and make a donation if you do!
I'd love to have a native 4k VR player for my XZp that doesn't require messing with adb.
VU showing video that is mismatched positionally on right and left eye
hey fam.i am using a tecno camon cx air and i am having an issue in that the video on the right is not exactly the same in positioning/mismatch as the video on the other eye causing some blur and uncomfy viewing experience.what can i do?i am using VU pro latest versionconfused:
check out my twitter @Kay_e_veemusic i will show you a screenshot of my screen, i can't post a link here since i am new..will appreciate your help
It's a shame the codes are expired this deserves five stars for sure! I have a couple of feature requests:
Please add the ability to play network videos! It is essential that I can launch videos to VU Cinema from a file manager (total commander in this case) the same as any other video player. It would also be nice to be able to browse network videos from within the app.
Bluetooth controls need to be refined. Please add the ability to either map the controller or add basic seek and volume controls to the D pad. Sometimes it is easier to tap forward a couple times to relocate my place in a movie than try to navigate the very inaccurate seat bar. The only app I have seen tackle VR controls well (and I've tried them all) is VR Theater by coach games. If you were to merge the graphics from VR Cinema with similar gamepad controls to VR theater it would be the perfect app!!!
Please continue development it's really great! ?
[Just purchased, well worth it]
On one plus 5, After the update 5.0.4 it has stopped working.video screen is blank while pictures can be seen.kindly help on it.
