Reviewers still haven't figured out that holding the menu button brings up search. This is the case with Galaxy S 1 as well. How do people with such limited technical knowledge get these jobs?

Meh. Graphic designers mirror and photochop images all the time to make it look "better" in the ad they are making. Its led to some classic Photoshop ad fails, like a left hand grafted to a right arm.

Not as bad as the Droid X with an iOS screenshot on it in some of the Verizon ads.
I have recently seen a large number of flyers for the Blackberry Torch which clearly had a android homescreen with sense!
i saw another one today: android screenshot on an omnia 7 pro.. or whatever it was. either way, optus, and in fact the entire australian telecom industry fails.

Ahaha, this is good stuff, and I'm eager for Cyanogenmod efforts to free us from Samsung drama, but its funny how I totally knew it would be a screenshot of that screen. It's totally Android's winver, and just as ubiquitous when it comes to blurry-cam shots of prototype phones and new Nexus builds. XD

Awesome man! Just to get this straight, will this be not be able to be run on the Epic until 2.2/2.3 is released by Samsung? I'm confused on that if so, because the EVO has CM7 and 2.3 hasn't been released yet for the EVO.

I think they should take some of that $900 million dollars and hook me up.
I'd rather Google spend their time improving Android, rather than fighting patent lawsuits, so I'm all for it.

Well, if they're testing it is because it's possible. I've seen the old SGS1 doing SO much even with that severe lack of memory, i reckon 1Gb is more than enough to do everything if well coded. I'm guessing it's just easier for samsung to add more ram than waste time in optimized coding and probably was a bit overboard hence the actual memory "problems". That and poor ram managing, my phone just seems to kill any process if the screen goes off after a while (it's a pain to download any game's extra data after installing, phone just cuts it off)
Anyway, this is wonderful news, thank you. Can't wait
