[Q] boyppc-shiftpda MIUI V12 Data2SD - HD2 Android Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting and Genera

Hi there
i need to ask a question with regards to the boyppc-shiftpda MIUI V12 update if any one is using it is the ASD2+ working for you am still getting the internal memory of the device even when i used the DATA2SD folder supplied by BoyPPC but still it is not working unlike the DHD Rom by BoyPPC it is working using the DATA2SD folder on root .
i really like MIUI the themes are amazing it is like using a new phon every day but also i need the space for my applications and games so unfortunately i had to stick to the DHD rom hoping to get a solution to make the MIUI use my 2GB EXT3 partition i have on my SD
i got a 8GB SD and the EXT3 created by CWM is 2GB with SWAP size 0m
awaiting your reply

why don't you try the other miui roms, langthang's and ladyboo's miui roms make data2ext quite perfectly.

thanks mutil would u kindly post the two roms threads to try them
the reason i did not try other roms is that i adore BOYPPC roms just wanted to use the MIUI with the apps he provides but am willing to try ur recommended roms
again would be thankful if you can post the two roms threads

but kept stuck on booting screen
i will give the second one a try and will let u know

the rom you use is very old....
i think its time to change your rom !!
if you want a cyanogenmod rom :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1166948
if you want a sense rom :
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1326217
after flashing the sense rom, flash this kernel
http://www.multiupload.com/YAKT4UI92D
both the above roms are best in their class (according to me)
i my self use the dorimanx 3.0 rom !!
!!
regards......
Yes, it is probably the best if try something new.
Install new rom and before you do that make an SD ext partition. With that you gonna have more free internal space for installing apps. After that you can also move them to the SD card (if they can work from there of course) ...
Thats my advice ...
And 1 more thing - if you decide do change the kernel make sure that this kernel gonna work with the rom .... some kernels can't work with not sense roms for example ...
As already announced the ROM you are using is very old. Since your decision was to pick up a ROM which is very close to stock I suggest using tytungs ROMs. You can try his NexusHD2-Gingerbread V3.2a. To get more space for installing apps search for app2sd+...
and please next time use a subject in your thread ...

Some apps and games not working on GingerBread and up Roms

Hello every body
I want to ask a question about Gingerbread and ICS Roms, the question is Why some games not working on these roms? like NFS Shift and Talking tom 2 ... etc, this problem in all Gingerbread roms i tried, and it is not found in Froyo roms.
I think the problem in Kernels. any answers and thanks. sorry about my language.
Is this an SD or NAND ROM? If it's SD, move everything to 'internal' storage (actually the data.img in the Android folder) which will make things work. Obviously that's just a complete guess as to why it isn't working, seeing as you haven't provided much information about which ROMs and stuff. Have you tried posting in these ROMs' threads?
thanks for reply
I mean SD and NAND GB roms.
I can install NFS shift but not working, when I open the game it shows its 1st screen and closes automatically. but in froyo SD and NAND roms it works Fine.
u can try a another cm7 rom...or 2.2 rom,the higher version is not better..

[Q] What should I do?

Hey Guys,
Alright few days ago my dad gave his HD2 to me and I went through many Custom ROMS of Android.
I liked this one much and for me it's stable; NexusHD2-ICS-4.0.4-CM9-HWA V2.7 ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1434860 )
Now I don't know what to do, if I install this ROM with NAND, I can install some apps in the beginning but after it show "invalid package error" due to less space in phone memory and it gets slow too.
Few days ago I bought MicroSD 8GB 4 Class memory card and now I'm thinking to install NativeSD version of it with 1GB EXT4 partition.
Will it work like NAND, I mean will it be fast? Or should I install INT2EXT ( http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1716124 ) with NAND only. Its been like 3 weeks I'm just removing and installing ROMS, I just want a stable ROM for my HD2.
If you have any other suggestions please share it with me.
Thank you.

If you want stable jelly bean than aokp is the way to go...
And if you want the fastest and most stable sense 3.5 Rom then give our tbd Rom by developer sundawg...
Any how I suggest using nativesd except for with sense we use int2ext

[Q] What is the best rom for htc hd2?

Hi guys, i have a question. What is the best rom for htc hd2 in this moment? I have 4.1.1 aosp and before i had ics 4.0.4 leoking 2.3.6.
This rom is quite slow but i want a rom Jelly Bean. What is the most stable rom at the moment? I tried to install the nexushd2 but when i turn on the phone, htc logo appears but then you see that the screen is on but nothing appears. I have installed for twice but nothing. I tried to install it with "NAND with DataOnEXT" because my phone is Italian. I have a FAT32 partition of 13GB and a EXT4 partition of 1.5GB but nothing ... Thanks to all..
Damy
EDIT: With the NexusHd2, here is a process that asks you to choose between the rmnet connection and the ppp connection... What is better? i have magrld
IMO, this is the best ROM as of now. Enjoy
PACman HD2 by xylo..........nand/native sd
or look thru here http://forum.xda-developers.com/forumdisplay.php?f=980
Waht is best for you is not the best for others, so this thread will be redundant with many opinions. My advice is that you test a few ones an make your own decision.
On that note, thread closed.
