Do a search with 'activesync' and 'internet connection' keywords on this forums.
There are a lots explanation on how to do it. It will be faster than waiting someone reply (like me, I have no time to explain too, sorry).

Hey guys I was just searching in the market place and i found this wifi editing app. After playing around with it I was able to connect to my campus's wifi, which is an enterprise connection.
Its called-Wifi Advanced Config Editor by Marcus905
Check it out here for more info.

LOL for me it has a free open wifi but it has a proxy on it which i cannot input into my xperia
thank you for the link!
i was finally able to connect eduroam!!!
my uni has two options to connect..
-connect to eduroam using password, and once connected you are free to use the internet
-connect to open uni network, then input ur uni id and p/w to connect... which is FRUSTRATING if you lose a signal or something and need to reconnect...
thanks a bunch!!
thanks for that, will have to try it out when I go uni.
It seems to work on and off for me with my uni wifi. I found it a couple of weeks ago.

Me too. We can't use transproxy also. It needs iptables. I installed it but iptables is not waorking without enabling netfilter in the kernal. So we have to recompile the kernal with netfilter enabled. But it is useless because the bootloader is not hacked yet.

Hi guys, just want to know have any of you used Wifi Direct.
I never got it working I haven't found any option in sharing menu to send using Wifi Direct, neither I am able to receive files by sending from other phones.
Is there any solution for this ??

It's under Wifi settings, the menu option. I have no idea what's that, never used it before.

Mobile VPN is the Virtual Private Network. VPN is a private
network system that uses the public internet to tunnel traffic secretly and securely from your phone to a computer network. This allows
you to safely access your Mailbox and other
Internet resources from a limited or unsecure
network connection. (eg - internet cafe).
