Do a search with 'activesync' and 'internet connection' keywords on this forums.
There are a lots explanation on how to do it. It will be faster than waiting someone reply (like me, I have no time to explain too, sorry).

FTP over GPRS

Hi,
Hope someone can help with this.
I'm trying to use a program that sends pictures from my XDA mini S to my website by FTP. It works fine by WiFi either connected to my home network or through a hotspot.
I can't get it to establish a connection through GPRS, however - it just times out
I am using the standard O2 mobileweb settings for GPRS
Thanks in anticipation.
I don't have an answer to your question, but what program are you using? I need a FTP client.
I am using Webcam for Pocket PC

The same site as a general purpose ftp uploader on the same page.
Let me know if you can make it work over GPRS

Skype not working

Hi,
I have recently picked up an Orange SPV M3100. I installed skype 2.2 on it and tried to run it. The login screen comes fine, but when I click on "Sign in", it gives me a pop up saying "Skype needs an internet connection to function. Do you want Skype to connect to the internet through a cellular connection?"
When I click YES, I get "Unable to connect to the internet. Please check your network settings."
My internet through IE works fine on GPRS. It is good speed and works excellent. I am able to use MSN Live as well, but Skype doesn't seem to be working.
I've been through posts - where there have been suggestions to check the proxy settings. But there are no proxy settings in the mobile.
Anyone who can help me out here?? Most posts discussed how easy it is to connect to Skype using GPRS and how easy this works. I have been trying for quiet some time to no avail.
Alternatively, can someone give me an older version of this Skype for PPC, which might work for me??

Don't think it's possible...
Unless you use something like WMWiFiRouter.

As I know, WMWiFiRouter is only for sharing a connection between a WM device and one desktop (Ad Hoc). Is it wrong?

WMWifiRouter instantly turns your wifi enabled smartphone* into a wireless internet hotspot. Now you can use your laptop and any other device with wifi to get online and surf, email, instant message, and anything else you normally use the internet for! Get it now for 19.99 euro.

Thanks a lot! That was a good idea.
I have two PCs connected to my mobile phone so far.
My next problem is to make this connection secure as possible.
WMWiFiRouter only allows me to select WEP, not WPA.
It's a HTC Touch Cruise with WM6.
I would again appreciate if somebody could tell something more about it.
Or maybe I shall ask in the WMWiFiRouter thread? Which of them is actual?
Thank you in advance

Do you mean using ur phone as a modem or u using ur computers internet connection on ur phone?
I meant using my computers internet connection on my phone...But if u have the answer to both please write it so everyone can benefit =)
To use ur phone as a modem just do what thesire said to do. I'm not sure about the other one. I think all you have to do is sync it with active sync and u should be able to use ur computers internet connection. Unless u have a firewall. I'm not sure how to do it then
