Anyone interested in buying a litely used vx6800 that I bought new in July? It comes with some accessories. It was upgraded to wm6.1 and gps enabled.

Holy cow...$175? I got my xv6800 off ebay almost 6 months ago now for $120 used, and it was in like-new condition. Came with ZAGG.com shield (the best) too
hey jray do your self a favor and put it on craigslist or ebay at 200 it will sell. I sell near a dozen a month for this price. Make sure to include gps features as well and aftermarket programs because people looking for christmas gifts love gps.

Notion Ink has said numerous times they are working with retailers already to get the adam sold elsewhere, not just on their website. As far as being sold in a brick and mortar, not sure about that but somewhere like amazon would be great.
I think online only is OK.
As long as the online retailers have a decent return policy.
I am very interested in getting one. But NI's return policy is not the best.
there was someone from Best Buy in one of the videos from CES, and with best buy having such a global presence, (It does just under different names in different countries.) I wouldn't be surprised if they started to sell the adam.
This is a bit late, but I've been kicking myself since Black Friday, as I set my wife up on two machines and myself on two machines to pick up the Thrive 8GB for $199.
She managed to get one, but for me, it stalled when loading the CC page, hung and eventually let me buy it, only to see an out of stock email about 15 minutes later...
I'm trying to see how many thrives were out there? Looked on fatwallet and the ultra secret black friday sale thread jokingly said there were only 5. If so, I don't feel so bad
So if you're one of the lucky few or know of someone that was, please tell, to help my bruised ego

I didnt get that one...but did manage to get a Toshiba Thrive 8gb for my son for Christmas ...Black Friday at Best buy. But it was 279.00. I was kind of disappointed at the 8gb...but I felt the price was decent. I bought one for myself too!
I too missed out on the NewEgg deal, but picked one up from amazon for the same price around 5pm on BF.
Hopefully there are more of us on here.

Unfortunately I didnt. I too bought it from best buy. I was able to nab one when the workers told me that they didnt have any asus and for awhile said they had no thrives. Makes me believe they hid a few for themselves. I dont need 8gb and love the full hdmi and usb. I just use it for a media center and browsing online with some other apps. All in all i love it.

I've got one of the Newegg 8gb models. I had my eye on the Thrive for a while - so when doing Black Friday stuff I saw it go up on fatwallet - I camped out in front of the PC for it.
Basically I made sure my newegg account was logged in, made sure my shipping/CC info was ready to go, and got ready. It was basically click-click-click-click-stupid Mastercard verification-click.

hard to believe since they sell for $700 plus on there... i'd be cautious personally.
this auction reminds me of those where you had to buy at least 2 phones at ~$500 each and the auctions would disappear very fast.
They have a high percentage of good feedback, but in the last month they have had 269 negative complaints. I'd be weary as well. I always say, you try and cut corners, corners will cut you.
Well to be fair, they also have ~22,500 positive feedback in the past month too. I have purchased a set of kitchen knives from them before and they didn't give me any problems. I did also purchase my Galaxy S3 off Amazon from Expansys for $694.00 so $649.99 isn't terribly improbable.
I bought a GT-i9100 SII and a Galaxy Nexus from them. The SII I got last September for $499, and even today thats a great price. The one thing about Daily Steals is they take forever to ship, but they are 100% legit. If I wanted an SIII, I wouldn't hesitate to grab this deal. Just be patient!
