So i got 3.2 stock now. Came from Tiamat 1.1 (through stock 3.0.1 & 3.1).
So far i have noticed the following:
Much faster bootup (might just be an illusion)
HDMI audio still have no bass
It seems to play .mkv files natively, but with no audio (guess ac3 is not implemented grrrr)
The zoom/stretch button (duh)
Same quadrant scores.
"Pointer speed" under "Mouse and trackball settings" in "Language and input" (dunno if this was in 3.1, never noticed it.
Faster in the launcher.
Same speed in browser.
what app shows the zoom button? i dont have any apps that require that lol
so the launcher is zippier then? im just sitting here contemplating flashing back to stock from tiamat, are you impressed vs tiamat?

I more or less ran tiamat from day 1 i got my xoom, so i have no basis for comparison to stock 3.(0).1
sorry, i meant is the performance of 3.2 at least equal to tiamat?

If you say its Booting faster than Tiamat - Win.
Zooming - Win
Pointer Speed - Something i was Really Missing.
3.2 = Win.

That would be awesome, even faster keyboard response in the stock browser
Mkv is nice but the majority of the material has either ac3 or dts which the stock player can't handle.
Also noticed that Rockplayer played a 720p Xvid movie perfect now. Had some lipsync issues with 3.1
It seems it still can't handle USB drives.
If you have "adb" running or "ConnectBot" installed, can you give me the output of "cat /proc/version", please?
anyone tried connecting other external devices besides cameras and game controllers, to the usb cable?
Will it break my Bluetooth tether?
AdHoc Wifi?
Anyone know if the 3.2 has added AdHoc networks or is this a feature that is limited by the hardware? Awesome if it does!!
I am interested if there are big improvements regarding browser speed and stability. Since you guys get to taste 3.2 first, I'm gonna ask these questions:
- Does the browser still redraw web pages while scrolling?
- How is 720p and 1080p video playback in most Flash videos embedded in websites?
- Is the keyboard input lag still around, or has this issue been rectified?
Thanks to anyone answering these queries.

Could you test some more vids that you know for sure had problems on 3.1? I hope honeycomb becomes more mkv friendly.
Can anyone check how the stock browser handel's the UA string now in 3.2 ?
Do you still have to reset it everytime browser is restarted ?

I can't speak for it being native on 3.2, but I can tell you the hardware supports ad-hoc (I think all wifi chips should) and support can be found now by the means of a flash able zip in the dev. Section.

I ported my ReelPortal video conference to Android recently. It's reported to be working on the Viewsonic G Tablet with certain ROMs, as well as the Archos 70/101.
I had one Samsung Galaxy Tab user reported his device bogged down badly when running my software. Initially I thought it may be because it doesn't have a Tegra-2 cpu, but so is the Archos. So I'm not sure why. Also, currently on Android 2.2, my app can only access 1 camera, and the user reported it was the back camera. The Viewsonic/Archos only have 1 (front) camera, so it works great for them. However, Android 2.3 will provide access to multiple cameras.
Anyhow, I want to see if other Galaxy Tab users can run my app. It is published on AppLibs, or you can get it from the Viewsonic G Tablet thread here:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=908613
I suggest test the tablet with another PC/Mac/Linux machine (vs tablet to tablet), so it's easier to figure out problems.
Please provide feedback if you try it. Thanks.
Would love to test this with my linux server, but can't find the download for that on your site. If this works well on my Tab, it might replace my need for OpenMeetings.

I will release the server executable in a couple days. Right now, you can test the client using my server. Some Viewsonic user was able to do a conference between his tablet and 3 other PC's, and said it works as well as dimdim.
Tested the reelportalX on the Tab and it worked ok. Video was from rear camera only (known issue though), and the interface was a bit slow to respond. It FC'd a few times while fiddling with the camera resolution, and also when initiating a P2P session from my netbook to the Tab.

Curious...can you try the web client (via browser) on the tablet, to see if the interface behaves the same? note: the web client can't access camera/mic on the tablet, but it can do everything else. If its different, then perhaps AIR somehow runs slower than Flash. If not, then I guess it's just slow .
Sorry I don't know what FC'd means. Crashed? For camera resolution, I suggest sticking to standards like 640x480, 320x240, etc. Other non-standard resolutions could mess things up (codec, driver). But I don't think the tablet can handle 640x480 encoding (while also decoding incoming streams).
BTW, did the netbook crash too?
FC = Force Close. The default resolution was 320x240 @6fps, and it seemed ok, although it never updated the image on the Tab (seems like it took a static picture, not streaming constantly).
The netbook was fine. It's running Win7 and I tested it with Firefox 3.6.13 on a Lenovo Ideapad S10-3.
Running the browser on the Tab and going to reelportal.com seems to work fine, without camera of course.

that's interesting...somehow the back camera is not feeding video streams continuously...i don't think its the cpu then, because the resolution is low...perhaps the camera driver is not compatible with Air...maybe it thinks the software telling it to take a picture, instead of streaming. I didn't have a problem with the back camera on the Droid 2...are you running on the stock ROM or something else?
BTW, is there some other external controls (software) for the back camera on the tablet? Like driver settings on the PC.
I'm running the Euro JME rom (Roto-JMEv4 specifically). There's no special controls for either of the cameras. If you're planning on supporting the Tab, Samsung offers some APIs specific to the Tab for 2.2 development via the SDK which should include front cam support.
Hmm....looks like someone also encountered the same issue...and there's a work around (inconvenient)

I'm downloading it right now. So all who have updated it, please say something about the new features in 3.1.... Trust me, it will help a lot of people.
It now has exchange email setup!
Youtube 720p video playback has greatly improved. Using the test video prior to 3.1 I was getting around 9-12 fps, now I'm getting 29-32 fps.
USB mouse works now;
Two new readers (Kobo and Zinio)... Extra bloatware... Awesome! :s
In the browser options, you can switch between tablet or desktop mode (I don't know if this was in 3.0 or not, but I didn't see it)
Also, in the browser, if you use quick control, you now have more options, including switching tabs right from the quick control, and closing tabs from the quick control) You can also choose to enable/disable google instant through the labs option.
** also, the list of open apps is bigger now.... not just the last 4 open apps show up

Movie Studio added
Kobo Reader and Zinio Reader added

Social Jogger widget and Nemo player Widget added
Wallpaper picker updated and setting wallpaper shows landscape and portrait optimization
Not sure if there is an actual measurable difference, but the whole tablet feels 'snappier' and more responsive, at least in my informal testing. We'll see if this is just me feeling optimistic and wanting to see things improved or if there's a legitimate boost in performance, though.
I just really hope that Acer managed to handle the issues I was having with frequent hanging with the screen on (but on the lock screen) when charging, and with the tablet powering down completely (rather than the usual 'sleep') when left to charge overnight. Having a device I can just pick up and use without waiting for a boot sequence is the bulk of why I went for a tablet in the first place...
They seem to have been pretty good about addressing issues with updates, it's just the question of when said updates show up.
Also, Android Movie Studio (think iMovie or something- very basic at first glance, but seems quite functional so far) and Videos are new to the app list.
Also got my update just in the last hour. Overall device seems snappier and USB mouse support is nice. I can also confirm that the Youtube Video Rental app comes with the update.

Small point I know but it now appears that if you update apps in Market, once they are updated you now have option to uninstall the update.
The official new features list for Honeycomb 3.1 (outside of Acer updates)...
http://developer.android.com/sdk/android-3.1-highlights.html#UserFeatures
I still cant see a safe way of removing from USB other than powering down?
Differences/Improvements I noticed.
1. When you are in Market and you enter an app to download or view and you go back to previous page you go back to were you were in app selection instead of the top of the app page (which sucked ass in 3.01)
2. UI transitions obviously, but except from vertical lag it is also pretty 'laggy' when you turn it upside down.
3. Faster startup of albums thumbnails and zoom and double tap is lightning fast.
4. Website scrolling and 2 pressure point zooming is lightning fast.
5. GPS locks faster
6. Emails come instantly, dunno if anybody noticed but in 3.01 the emails would not appear as fast they did in example hotmail tray.
7. Youtube plays videos flawlessly, 720p smooth as **** thru a goose.
8. 720p MP4 can be played but not VERY smooth, MKV can be played too but with no sound. The other HD videos that I usually play I encode with Handbrake using zoom setting but it sux ass to have to convert 720p movies that should play smooth.
9. I may be dreaming but sound seems better, louder and clearer. May be my imagination.
Then there is all the obvious changed of course. I'll add more when I remember more.
Cheers!
WMA's play in the stock player!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Couple of Differences in 3.1 Update
Got the update this evening in the UK
Couple of things I've noticed:
Acer Lumiread application has improved interface. This may be considered bloatware by the masses but I really like this compared to the alternatives.
As well as this the Landscape mode now allows 2 page reading something similar to ipad Also seems a lot smoother which actually is a massive improvement. There were a few bugs with this with the leaked chinese build that came out last week but these all seem to have been remedied in this version 4 build.
Improvement in GPS lock speed. I didn't really have a massive issue but now seem to be able to find around 10 sats vs 8 indoors with 3.01 stock and leaked build. .
Desktop Mode on Browser settings. Is it just me or does this actually do anything?
I've only tested it on the bbc website but it's still recognising my device as a mobile device even when desktop mode is set or when UAString is changed. All this mode seems to do is break bbc iplayer . Anyone else in the UK notice this?
Market shows incompatible apps: I've noticed quite a few gameloft games now showing up in the app which upon trying to purchase I get a "your device is incompatible" message. Previously i wasn't shown applications and games that were incompatible.
web browsing is a lot smoother. no fc so far (fingers crossed)
Pictures are much sharper in Picture Frame widgets !
Thank God they took out Cell Standby My Battery Last Longer.

It turns out that the recently circulating hulu-capable hacked version can and does play back at full 30fps in 720p on the Transformer. Success!
This lead me to question why it would work though. I downloaded this hacked version (Google search it, I won't link it here) and also downloaded the original 10.3.185.22 version it is based on (it's about 2 months old). Testing the hacked version and I do indeed get hardware accelerated 720p. I disassembled them to figure out what was changed between the hacked and the official version and the only change is one line in the Flash Player library that reports to the browser what version of flash is running (Sort of like a UA string hack for Flash). This isn't enough to disable hardware acceleration though, and guess what: strangely enough, I also get hardware acceleration on the non-hacked version as well. Crazy that!
So, the tl;dnr version: For some reason, the latest Flash Player does not accelerate 720p video. I still don't know why. An older version (10.3.185.22) DOES accelerate Flash and can be used to fix this nagging problem. Download it here:
http://www.filesonic.com/file/1037676654
OR HERE:
http://dl.dropbox.com/u/10724980/Flash.Player.10.3.185.22.Android.apk
To install:
First remove any installed version of flash (go to market -> my apps -> Flash Player -> uninstall)
Copy the downloaded .APK to your device and run. No root required, but you will need to turn on non-market app installs.
Before testing, reboot into recovery and wipe cache. (The whole point is to wipe the browser cache - People report that this helps. If you like, you can just go to settings -> applications -> manage applications -> All -> Browser -> Wipe Cache)
Test playback on 720p stream or use http://www.youtube.com/my_speed and look at what the 'video fps' tells you
EDIT: You may have to run this in the STOCK BROWSER. Opera calls the Froyo version of the library which does not allow for hardware accelerated playback.
Some other notes:
The youtube test video still reports software decoding - this is normal, it's looking for the PC HW accel module, which Android does not have.
Some people are still have trouble making this work. I'll admit, it's sort of like voodoo - I've torn through the files in the .APK and the only file that is changed in the old version is a compiled library that I can't (legally) decode. Without source code, I still can't tell you why it works for some but not for others.
Apparently some people never had problems in the first place. Congratulations - we don't need to hear about it here. Unless you know why it works for you and not for others, don't add to the length of this thread.
It's not the latest version, but nothing significant has been added since this one, and at least it works right!

This version is the modified 10.3.185.22 version that is NO DIFFERENT than the official .22 version except for the modification one line that tells the browser it is a Windows based version of flash instead of Android.
If you install this version of Flash, hardware acceleration works but you cannot update via the Market (even though it tell you that you have an update) because it will fail every time.
The official version I linked will not play Hulu but does update via the market and at least for now, seems to retain hardware acceleration.

Strange.
Gary, can you ADB to your device?
If so, can you
Code:
adb uninstall com.adobe.flashplayer
And then try installing this. Note that it does take a few seconds for the video framerates to stabilize due to some inherent WiFi flakiness in the ASUS drivers.

I don't have access to adb atm, but I figured uninstalling Flash through the GUI rather than adb would have the same effect (and I did uninstall Flash before installing that version). I also tried restarting the browser, cycling opengl on/off, and rebooting the entire device.
After the intro, it still falls to 3-5 FPS on youtube.com/my_speed on 720p.
just uninstall the hacked version then install market version and the ability to play 720p at 30 fps seems to persist.

To be honest, it really makes little sense why it works. The old version works and the new version works when updated via the market (though it shouldn't because it overwrites everything) so honestly, I can't really troubleshoot to any degree.
My advice would be to just nuke anything in the /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer location, then install my linked version. Install that, update via the market (You might have to reboot or use Titanium Backup to get it to attach to the market) and see if it works. There is no good reason why it didn't work in the first place, and there is even less why it works now. It's like a ghost in the machine.

It's not a limitation of the Tegra as much as it is a limitation of the screen size. With a larger screen you have more pixels to push and that strains the hardware when it's not designed for it. Unfortunately, the Tegra GPU wasn't ever really designed for tablet resolutions - but it works and they use it - it's just not going to match the only 480x800 display (in the SGS2) in terms of fluidness.

I have a similar issue. I uninstalled via settings/applications and then used terminal to verify that /data/data/com.adobe.flashplayer did not exist.
I get about 6 fps. I even tethered to my phone to get a faster download because my DSL speed was too slow to keep up.
I have stock 3.1 rooted.
Yeah, it's becoming clear to me that this is not an exact science. There isn't actually any reason why it shouldn't hardware accelerate on the market version when it does on the hacked (or just plain old) version.
Note that the youtube.com/my_speed video does report two frame rates, one titled "stage fps" and one "video fps" - it's that second one that is reporting the true decode speed. Also, if you're seeing spinning dots in the middle, that's your internet too slow to keep up, not your device.
If you're having no luck with the official .22 point release I linked, try using the hacked version linked in the second post and see if that changes anything.

okay installed this flash (hulu verison) and now opera 11 shows that flash is not install...anyone else having this issue?
I tried the linked version as well- not sure what is different but it does have a different checksum.
Perhaps I have to actually watch a hulu video first?
--- I poked around at some of the methods and the ones that flash via clockwork mod also install some libs- perhaps that this the other piece of the puzzle? It's bedtime here, so 30 fps will have to wait until later...
After uninstalling the newest version and installing the .22 modified one I am getting 30fps and little dropped frames in the speed test on the stock browser. Unfortunately Opera is still showing around 10fps.

I've explained this in detail in the OP but basically the .apk just installs the libraries to it's personal /data/data/ directory and the browser is able to dynamically load them from there. There is no need to install additional libraries because all four of the shared libraries flash requires are installed by installing the .apk.

Yes, unfortunately, Opera loads the libstagefright_froyo.so instead of the libstagefright_honeycomb.so which is the required library for hardware accelerated playback. I'll mention this in the OP.

God no, they're all worses than stock browser in my opinion. At least unil OnLive releases theirs!
Think I figured it out, the link in post #2 is bad. After using the APK posted in the other thread, it works great. Fired up Big Buck Bunny on YouTube and i was as smooth as could be. Thanks .
I had update EeePad to Honeycomb 3.2,
and test some issues in 3.1.
Every thing is so fast now.
I can sure some bugs had been fixed :
1. 90 and 180 degree in home screen is such smooth now
2. Music beta idle when screen off does not appear
3. Stock browser does not show white block when scrolling
4. Youtube plugin works well in stock browser (just testing 720P ...)
5. WEBSTORAGE UI update
6. Some apps are out of screen when scaling up
7. Stock weather widget shows the last update time (but it is real ugly ...)
8. Browser input lag is STILL there ~
so on...
------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
After charging the battery to FULL in office, I went home.
Until now, my EeePad walked through two states :
1. Suspend mode -> 2 hrs 30min (just screen off)
battery : 100% -> 100%
2. Crazy running -> 2 hrs 20min (web, youtube, music, MV, drama, RSS, FB, ...)
battery : 100% -> 83%
Both these two states are with wifi on.
Seems that 8 hrs continue working is possible for 3.2.

3. Stock browser does not show white block when scrolling
4. Youtube plugin is work well in stock browser (just testing 720P ...)
5. WEBSTORAGE UI update
6. Some apps are out of screen when scaling up

Could you test the browser speed vs opera moblie ( load time, scrolling and typing lag)? Also did the update splash top to the HD verison? Thanks
I am in Taiwan. And now is a SUNNY day here ...
I can not test some thing yet, cause I am working in my office ...

edit: He beat me to it, lol.
I'd love to know the Splashtop (MyCloud) and PressReader versions. Also is the text selection bug in the stock browser resolved? And are the physical SD and MicroSD cards still writeable?
the splashtop is running the same old version unfortunatey, 1.00.something
one more different thing is the mouse cursor is now a circe instead of the pointer,
and you can do scroll and pinch to zoom using the trackpad now,
its not quite smooth as i like it to be tho
sometimes the machine confuses the two action so becomes a big more laggy

The exact version number is quite important. Asus' Splashtop builds don't match the version numbering of the retail builds. They've made significant changes in past Asus releases with very modest version number changes.
Can you please confirm is the version number still v1.0.0.10-4 r8520? That's the build supplied with the latest OTA patch two weeks ago.
just updated to TW 3.2 and wanted to share for all dock owners
Theres a new "pointer" feature when using the trackpad; basically a circle pointer is on the screen instead of the arrow cursor
Basically it functions the same but gives more area to click?
Also when scrolling webpages with the trackpad, they inverted the direction so moving 2 fingers down now scrolls up and 2 fingers up scrolls down; which ANNOYS me so much, hope they revert it back.
EDIT: PINCH TO ZOOM added on trackpad
However its hard to scroll the pad when the trackpad keeps thinking you want to pinch to zoom
EDIT 2: Scrolling on trackpad better if you use two fingers as close to each other, further apart would make the trackpad recognize as pinch to zoom
that sucks

Gah why can't they just make these things user-configurable? I can 100% guarantee I will not be able to get my head around that, because it is the exact opposite of my laptop touchpad.
youtube app search box bug while playing video still exists, i.e pressing space while in search box while in video playing menu highlights the the other featured videos instead
Hey there,
what about "Battery usage data" in "about tablet"? Is it still not available?
Thanks for info about OTA, will be waiting patiently

To be honest, i think it is more intuitive now because now it scrolls in the same way you would scroll on the tablet screen. But then, i didn't own a laptop to confuse me Just wanted to say i can see why they did revert it.

Is available for me, on 3.1. Guess the "mystery update" caused so.

Yeah, I can certainly understand that some folks prefer it that way. As I said a couple of months back, it's a bit like mouse look in gaming, though. It's something you can't relearn. I started off in gaming with flight simulation, and I learned that forward on the yoke means descend, backwards means climb. I've tried over and over for years to play first person shooters with the opposite directions, but I just can't do it -- the flight sims built something in my brain that expects inverted look.
And that is why Asus shouldn't be forcing a decision like this on us. Some folks will want the scrolling one way, some the other, and for most, they'll never be able to learn to change. Asus needs to make this a user option, and let the user decide what works, because otherwise they're going to have a significant proportion of their users unable to scroll with the touchpad, and feeling like they've been let down.

It's not available for anybody else, so I don't think it's available for you either. My guess is you're not aware what folks are talking about.
We're not talking about the screen where you get an indication of battery consumption alongside hardware status (battery charging, gps use, wifi use, etc.)
On the screen *before* that one, you should get an indication of battery life alongside which individual apps were running, so you can see which apps are using the battery life up.
That works on other tablets. It doesn't (and never has) on the Transformer.

Exactly. Even iCompany gave an option to revert trackpad behavior to "less natural"...
Can anyone else confirm that Battery usage statistics are working? Because on my stock EU TF101 they're broken since first 3.1 OTA. :/ TIA!
Hong Kong already got the updated Android 3.2 with full screen and smooth HD video.

Search XBMC on Ouya. It just came out yesterday, just FYI for you guys that didn't already know.

Good news. Do we know what version has been uploaded? Is there any reason to reinstall from the libstage alpha 1 that was recommended on the ouya xbmc wiki page?
Ta
Can anyone tell me if its possible to stream content from my computer to the xbmc app on my OUYA? Similar to how plex works. I have plex but it stutters a lot and can lag when flicking between screen and in and out of content.
Perhaps now they will fix dts passthrough bug.
If people will report enough they should fix it.
This ain't an official version guys, doesn't run too smooth for me either, crashes a lot, better off with a new nightly
Sorry about that, let me clarify (Sort of) Official.. System info shows XBMC 12.3-OUYA.. for whoever wanted to know..
I haven't had any problems so far with this version of XBMC crashing on me compared to the nightly build. Here is a picture of the description of the app as well

This version runs much better than all the sideloaded versions I tried before. :good: Haven't had any crashs yet.
Has anyone managed to get Windows 7 to work with xbmc and the ouya for sharing? I have followed a bunch of tutorials, but none of them seem to work. Thought this new version would help, but it is a no go still.

I have the libstagefright alpha-1 version running on stock. I have not had a crash since set-up, and I have a lot of addons running, including navi-x.
I did notice that a lot of the crashes at set up were to do with the input controller. I was trying to use the Minix A1 keyboard/remote, and xbmc really doesn't like it. Using nexus 7 and yatse (which is a much better choice anyway) works perfectly for hours on end.
In fact, I tell a lie, when using it to stream music from smb it does sometimes lock up.
I'm running 720p from smb over wifi and down icefilms streaming without issue.
Kind of why I don't see the point in updating if nothing is better, more official, or any different
Hello all,
Compared the the (un)official OUYA store XBMC v12 with the original test build I was using, based on Gotham Alpha 1 and libstagefright
http://mirrors.xbmc.org/test-builds/android/xbmc-20130219-32e99c7-android-hwaccel-armeabi-v7a.apk
and I found the OUYA store version doesn't render the SSA softsubs properly (the enable SSA subtitles toggle does not seem to work).
The v13 alpha version does render the SSA softsubs properly. Stability-wise both seem okay, but playback of large (>4GB) 1080p files over (SMB/Windows Share) network stutters (buffering...) during complex scenes or when you skip forward...
Playback of the same files over the same 100Mbps network connection (same cable/network switch port) on my old IONTop (Atom-ION Nettop) using an older version of XBMC over Ubuntu Linux on Nvidia ION (XBMCFreak) does not stutter...
Best Regards!
^_^
the stuttering you are getting is not a buffering problem it is a problem with the network being on the usb bus. There is a trick to help it out, refer to this thread and you should notice an improvement.

You can also set the buffering cache to "unlimited" through the advacesettings.xml.
http://minixforums.com/threads/increase-buffer-size-in-xbmc.1122/
This helped me loads streaming 720p over wifi.
From the sounds of it, I'm gonna stick with the alpha 1 release and wait for a full gotham release.

Hi chewyboy,
I tried the instructions given on the link (echo 16384 > /proc/sys/vm/min_free_kbytes) but there was no improvement in my 1080p streaming from 100Mbps SMB connection...
I also tried setting <cachemembuffersize> in advancesettings.xml but still no significant improvement...
Large 1080p videos will eventually produce the "buffering..." message. 720p videos over SMB stream fine even with the default settings. These same files played using an external HDD connected to the OUYA USB port play fine...
Cheers!
^_^
P.S.
There was an update to the (un)Official XBMC on Ouya (at the Ouya store) and the SSA subtitle rendering problem was fixed!
The XMBC release version is v12... I wouldn't be too excited about this until more complete OUYA support comes with XBMC v13 in a few months. Some work-arounds (posted above) will definitely be needed because of the poorly implemented networking over USB bus...
According to the XBMC wiki, libstagefright is now included with the v13 nightly builds.
The latest is Alpha 6, link here (Alpha 7 should be out in a few days):
http://mirrors.xbmc.org/snapshots/android/xbmc-13.0-Gotham_alpha6-armeabi-v7a.apk
Nightlies link here:
http://mirrors.xbmc.org/nightlies/android/
Has anyone tried a newer build than Alpha 1 to see if it's improved?

Alphas 2-5 were not so good. 1 & 6 were both very good... but both had strengths and weaknesses. Some nightlies have been O.K since libstage came built in but I must admit I stopped updating every day about 10 days ago. Will probably start again when the next phase starts in September.

Good morning Colonel.
It may be to do with the nightlies.... I'm using the XBMC from the wiki page (http://goo.gl/gkdvk) and then installed this repo: https://anarchintosh-projects.googl...ry.googlecode.anarchintosh-projects.1.0.1.zip , installed icefilms, and from there, everything worked just fine. Even the HD streams over wifi.... which surprised me to be fair.
I've not tried any of the nightlies because Alpha1 has been working so flawlessly.
I was watching a 1080p movie from a flash drive, and after about two hours it started stuttering pretty badly and the Ouya felt like it was 150F.
